What Actually Is The MC Command Centre Mod? «12...Next Go

I've heard about this mod around the forums and I have never heard of it. It would be great if someone could explain what it is to me.

It does a lot of different things . Like the nraas mods in sims 3 . It has a story progression, you can set the length of each lifestate span , when bills are due and how much more or little they can be , you can change pregnancy settings such as the chance of quads ,there's so much that it does .

The mod is updated often and regularly after patches if needed .

Here's a link to the MC Command Center overview page on Tumblr (by Deaderpool). If you click on the sections listed it will tell you what each module does. It looks a little overwhelming because it does so much, but it's actually very easy to use and I wouldn't play without it.

What it does, basically, is give you a bunch of commands that you can execute on your sim. You can find them (when you've installed the mod) under the MC Command Center menu option after clicking on your sim or a computer.

Just off the top of my head, here are some of its features:

• Don't like it when a townie generates with clown shoes? You can blacklist that item and you won't see it again.
• Afraid your sim is now going to binge on cake after a tough workout? You can assign a flag that freezes your sim's physique.
• Did you forget to assign a relationship in CAS? Don't like memorizing sim codes so you can do it through the console? There's an option for that, too.

It's a mod along the lines of the nrass mod for Sims 3 it adds story progression and a bunch of other stuff. It comes indifferent modules so you can pick and choose what elements of it you want to add to your game. Some people (like myself) use the whole mod to do various things in our games others might only want the story progression or might only want the occult mod to turn off to deal with aliens. It varies depending what you're needing in the game. It's definitely not a mod for everyone and it can be a bit big and complicated to figure out sometimes. But once you get the hang of it it can bring a lot to your gameplay.

THIS is the main thread about it over in the mods section of the forum. It's probably the best place to go to gather information about it.

The MCC mod is a very handy mod to have it does many things such as clearing relationships, weeding out sims, stopping annoying actions (like constant checking the phone), washing hands, autonomous flirting. Well you get the idea on those. It also can remove relationships and also set relationships between other sims as well.
Basically you'd just have to play around because telling what all the features do would just take too long.

It hasn't been updated on mod the sims for some time now . Deaderpool moved his updates to his tumblr page so check there for updates and news regularly

I have a question about it, can it be adjusted so abduction frequency is increased and chances of alien kids is higher?

It's everything that the base game should have been. It's a work of art by Deaderpool that makes the game playable in terms of storyline and progression. It's the steering wheel to a car you just bought without one.

In other words, it's pretty ok. :P

You have to scroll down to the post about a month ago that says MC Command Center Release 3.7.0 is out! In that post is a link to click that says 'MC Command Center- all modules and below that is MC Woohoo if you wish to change anything about pregnancy. Click on both those links and they'll take you to the download.

If you have a blank button in the computer settings menu where “MC Woohoo” usually is, re-download the MC Woohoo mod and it should fix it. This is only for non-English game languages.

One thing that I love about MCCC is that if you make a new alien in cas and make a disguise, you can use mccc to copy the facial features between the alien face and the disguise. It's super dope.

This sounds promising I don't use mods in TS4 but I used one like this on TS3 and very pleased with it...so I will see what this does with my gameplay.

As quickly as Deaderpool can do it, and he's prepped to work on it for the next patch knowing it's likely to break. (Also, that patch could be as early as tomorrow.) He's generally been able to have an update out within a few hours to a couple of days, but there's no guarantee. It depends on what happens with a particular patch.

Is MCCC a very high resource thing to add? I remember story progression really adding lag to my already laggy TS3 lmao but i want the branches of my legacy family that leave the estate and set up house elsewhere to be able to advance in their lives without me micromanaging them too

No, I have had MCCC in my game for a long time, I have never had any lagging problems, if basic story progression is all you are looking for then you will only need 3 of the modules, MC Command Center, which you do need in order for the other modules to work, MC population and MC pregnancy. right now, we are on version 3.9.6 which you can download by clicking on the link in my signature if you would like to read more about MCCC and what it can do for your game again click on the link and open up the documentation page, all of the modules are listed and tell you what they do and how to set up your MCCC, which is done by clicking your sims PC in the game.
