Where's the rest of the fitness items

A ugly looking climbing wall :#

Do we get a personal trainer with it?
A new group or music station?

The rest of the content is nice I guess but if only they had done a fitness and sports game pack instead of this.

I agree with @marcel21 that it would nice to have other fitness equipment styles. The modern equipment doesn't go well with all of my houses. (I wish they would have given us a pull-up bar)

It's all good though. I just send my sims to the neighborhood gym instead of cluttering up my house with fitness equipment.

I like the climbing wall but I have to agree somewhat, I would really like more items for my gyms. Things like watt bikes, stair climbers, rowing machines (though I imagine animating those would be a nightmare), dumbbells :/ I wouldn't really want a stuff pack for those, maybe they will come in future expansions or something like yoga mats came with spa day

Dumbbells would actually be really cool. Never thought of that one!

I do miss that pull up bar from Sims 3. It took up little room and I could hang it out of the way, in a basement or garage, without taking up much space in house.

Yes, it should be cool to have a sport teacher from home.

Yeah athletic trainer or at least a yoga instructor would be great. Sims could make extra simoleans teaching others how to get the most from yoga or their fitness equipment!

I use the tv workouts for this same purpose.

Yeah agreed. That's how I cope with small space homes too. Or just send them jogging. Gyms are great but sometimes I feel like my sims get too distracted with socializations and such. So that's why my most hardcore sims workout at home.

I often find too, that when my sim works that I don't have time to send them off to a gym every day, but the yoga mats, and pools (if they have enough yard space) in addition to the tv station as I mentioned already and jogging like you said are great options. But, I will say I wish we had gotten some new stuff like a pull up bar as was said, and a hanging bag would have been cool.

Yes the yoga mats are great! Some of my yoga practicing sims use them outside, to get closer to nature.

The climbing wall is kind of cool but it's not something I want every house to have, since there is no variation in style.

I like the climbing wall too, my issue for having it in a home though is size, it's huge!

Yes! Agreed! And you need that super high ceiling, which most of my homes do not have, unless they are mansions.

    Pull up bar
    Exercise bike
    Rowing machine
    Dumbbells

would be better than a climbing wall.

A natural looking wall might of been nice instead of that modern monstrosity.

The Sims 3 had more styles.

In this game it's mostly modern. It's getting old fast...

I know exactly what you mean.

I like building a lot of 1920s-1960s homes and I do not have a lot to choose from by way of windows, doors, and furnishings. I feel like I pretty much use the same pieces in every house I build. And I tend to just omit the fitness equipment all together.

I wish we got some content for homes like that. Having to rely on CC and mods because all these packs have is modern content.

    More Mission
    Edwardian
    Victorian
    Country
    Cabin

    Steampunk

Yes! All of those architectural styles you mentioned would make great enhancements to the game. Then each of those neighborhoods could have their own little flavor. I'm just glad that Get Together added some good English Tudor content.

I think steampunk would make a super cool design option. There could be some cool fitness equipment integrated into that look as well!

This game in general seems to be too distracted with specialisation when you play and some of the packs.

    Anyway yes agreed.

Yes English tutor in get together is great.

Steampunk to go with a boating town would be great. Went great with a houseboat.

I would like to see it extended with build mode as well as buy mode. More items than what came with the store sets.

Would like to add medieval and Federal/Georgian to the list. Also more floor and wall patterns for all the categories.

Dude lol do you even own anyway.

    Luck party
    Cool kitchen
    Perfect pattio
    More in other packs

So what you mean is you did not know any, not none of them.

The Sims 4 as more modern than anything else.

You should get your facts straight before posting;)

None of those packs are modern themed. They all have traditional suburban style furniture with the exception of luxury party, which has a much more 40s-60s style to it what with the fondue and serving stations and all.

The fact you would call luxury party "modern" especially though gave me an excellent laugh, thank you for that.

I think you need glasses. No offence.

    Modern kitchen content
    Modern ice cream maker
    Modern popcorn
    Modern outdoor garden content
    Modern hot tubs
All 3 are full of modern style content
Modern styles EA rooms for each
    Lots of modern styles decor

Agreed... The only packs which come across to me as "modern" are fitness stuff and spa day.

Running on electricity doesn't make something modern in the stylistic sense. At least not in 2017... sorry.
