Zumi Takes a Chance on Youth and Love

I aged down my elder SS and then tweaked her considerably. I couldn't bring myself to go all the way down to YA, so she is an adult. I had long hair until I was into my fifties and it gradually got shorter and shorter until about three years ago when I got a pixie cut. The first pic is as I would have worn my hair as a YA. As I got older I changed my centre part for a side part and I would always keep it off my face by putting it behind my ears or sometimes even just tying the top part back into a small ponytail.
I moved Zumi Young (inventive name
) into Midnight Hollow and I will update as I play her. When you see my first update she will have the first hairstyle but before the first day was out I changed her hair to the second one.

When she started wandering all over the house and yard to react to new objects, I knew I had to get her out to meet people!
The first person she met was Monty Prince.
After she had learned a few traits and before she could misbehave, I had her introduce herself to Cornell Evans. Even with Burnt Waffles' lighting mod, it is very dark!
Then she met Cecilia Evans.
While she was introducing herself to Clarice Prince, Monty came back for another chat.
I then sent her across the street to meet Julian Poirot before going home to prepare a meal, a wish she rolled shortly after moving in.
It was still early afternoon when she finished cooking so I turned a small pool with fountain into a fishing spot
After catching several fish, she came in to eat the spaghetti she had prepared earlier. There is a small table in the kitchen but Zumi chose to eat in the dining room
I think she's a little creeped out by the spooky looking house I chose for her
Because her social bar was getting low, I sent Zumi into the town centre where she met Jay and Tatiana Silas and their daughter.

She tended her instant garden of perfect fruits and veggies courtesy of debugenabler
Then I bought her a bucket of uni goodies so she could take an aptitude test. I did take a screen capture of her results but forgot to drop it in paint before I filled my clipboard with something else
And she's off!
There was no way my SS was going to live with other students and, since she is rich, she gets her own house
I put some perfect produce in her inventory so she prepared pancakes for when school starts. Mornings will be rushed so she needs to start the day with a perfect quality meal
There are two candidates for future husband. Skip Taylor is one of them and she met him at the quad on her way to the meet and greet
Cid is adorable but he is not a candidate. His personality would make him impossible to live with, let alone have 5 happy kids with!
Since I have too many pics of Zumi's first day at Uni, I will put the next bit in a spoiler. Here's how things went down with Cid!
To my surprise, Zumi came back at him with a joke about professors and they ended up laughing together
Zumi then made her way to the meet and greet where she met a couple more sims.
She dropped everything and went to listen to a lecture.
She also took advantage of the freebie table
After the meet and greet, I located Eddy (the other candidate) at the bowling alley
Zumi autonomously joined this group at the foosball table. Hearts were flying everywhere but she is definitely not considering any of these boys!
Zumi rolled a wish to study so I sent her home to study on the computer.
She was feeling a little lonely so I had her invite Eddy over for dinner. I remembered he was a vegetarian so they ate spaghetti with veggie sauce.
She went straight upstairs and started painting. I didn't stop her as I haven't made a decision yet and don't want to rush into flirting until I am sure.

I'd forgotten that there was lots of running involved at Uni. Even so, she made it to class an hour early
She survived her first class
On her way to her second class, she introduced herself to this girl whose name I didn't bother noting.
They didn't talk long and Zumi autonomously started studying but it was cut short by start of class.
Two down! One more class for the day
Zumi wanted to meet someone new so I had her introduce herself to another girl that I didn't bother getting the name of

She was very excited to get a text that the party was starting
When she arrived, I had her prepare a cheese plate.
When she finished eating, I saw "Play table tennis with" in her queue. I don't know who instigated it but it was with Skip
Skip won! No fair! I played table tennis in my tea breaks for years and I was pretty good at it. My SS needs to do better! LOL
On arriving at the party, I got a popup that Zumi had an opportunity to make out with another sim. If it were my male sims, I would be all over it. Not so for my SS! She will behave herself until she has chosen Mr. Right
You're not supposed to laugh at your own jokes, Zumi! Especially not while pulling silly faces
Then Skip told a joke and that went over well too
As it was getting late, I had Zumi say goodbye to Skip.

After she got her wish, I sent her to the Grotto to meet new people. Kaz seems to be excited at the thought of seeing some girl on girl action!
Although Zumi is ordering coffee, she is pointing at cake. She is so me! LOL
I sent her home to paint but no sooner than she had started she was pushed to class.
No one likes a suck-up, Zumi!

I had the walls down after I took the last pic and saw Eddy being smacked by the mascot!

There was no option to ask on a date so I had Zumi ask Eddy to form a group. He declined, saying he was uncomfortable in crowds. Eddy is a loner. Instead, I had Zumi invite him over and he accepted
Zumi served tea but Eddy wanted to play on the computer instead. I let him be to fill his fun bar
While he was playing on the computer, I had Zumi prepare some veggie rolls. Zumi had a quick bath while Eddy ate
After eating, Eddy wandered up to the studio to sketch. I had Zumi ask him to pose nude instead

I had Zumi test the waters by flirting. Eddy followed up with some gossip
It worked because Eddy asked her to watch the stars
I turned off romance on kiss so that Zumi wouldn't have to commit herself yet. I had her go for a heat of the moment kiss.
Eddy accepted it

I can't stop playing this save! I have several more updates ready for posting but I am trying to hold off because I don't want to overwhelm the other thread LOL
Because my SS has classes, I can FF through a lot of stuff so it is going much quicker than my usual saves that can take 2-3 hours per sim day to play.
I think SS has made a decision about future hubby!

I saw Jeffrey Dean when Zumi came out of her first class. She hadn't met him yet, so I had her do a friendly introduction.
Zumi! Jeffrey is NOT on the list!
I was watching the wrong door when Zumi's second class was over and it took me a moment to find her
Although I could see Eddy nearby, I had to get Zumi's fun bar up before she went to her next class.
Eddy must have been in the same class. Zumi checked him out but I didn't let her talk with him. We are taking things slowly and it's Skip's turn
I found Skip at the Quad and had Zumi invite him over.
Given how many hungry sims I see coming out of class, I figured he might be hungry so I had Zumi feed him. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, after all
His fun bar probably needed some filling too so I had them play kicky bag. They went all the way to the garage to play!
Time to see if there is any chemistry. I had Zumi give Skip some flowers and he accepted them. Zumi autonomously flirted several times and he didn't knock her back but when it was his turn to respond, all he wanted to do was talk. I lost count of how many times they gave each other friendly hugs!
As it was getting late and things weren't progressing, I had Zumi ask to watch the stars. By the time they got to the deck the interaction was cancelled and Skip just stood there yawning. I took pity on him and sent him home.

When she got home she studied for a bit on her smart phone.
When she looked up with this crooked smile, she reminded me of my mother
She had several hours to kill before her only class for the day so I sent her to the Quad where she practised the guitar for a while.
I saw that Eddy was at home so I had her go visit.
Zumi flirted a couple of times but they mostly chatted until they were pushed to attend class.
I need to remember to take out the Midnight Hollow lighting mod before I next play.
While Zumi was sketching, I had a look around and found Cid and Skip at the Group Science Project
Zumi tried to go home after class but I stopped her so she could have another crack at Eddy.
I took him into CAS and darkened his eyebrows and facial hair but only kept the darkened brows as it took away from his cuteness. My dad had dark brown hair and ginger whiskers so I figure it's not uncommon.
When Eddy knocked back Zumi's invitation to group up she went off to study.
While studying, she rolled a wish to visit a park. I looked around and found "Just a Park". It was empty and rather dismal so I sent her bowling instead.

When she finished bowling I looked around for someone for her to talk with and found Eddy playing guitar by the door
I had Zumi try again to group up and this time he accepted! They went first to the Diner across the road from the bowling alley
While they were eating I got a popup that the group outing had become a date
Zumi had a wish to go bowling with friends and a wish to see a movie. I chose bowling!
While bowling, Zumi rolled a wish to take a photo with a friend
Once again Eddy surprised me by asking Zumi to watch the stars
They whispered, laughed and pointed out stars the whole time! I think we have a winner
I had Zumi confess her attraction for him. They are now romantic interests

She passed her Practice of Philosophy 202 exam with flying colours ... as I knew she would
Her fun bar needed filling so I had her sketch before her next exam. I let her finish the sketch even though the game was pushing her to the next class because she had such a short distance to go and would still be there early.
I missed her little clap after passing her Lectures on Microeconomics 202 exam with flying colours. I let her read a romance novel before her next exam.
Of course she passed her last exam with flying colours as well
Zumi was very hungry because she had eaten breakfast so early. I rushed her home for leftover spaghetti.
Because she would be attending another party thrown by Ludo Vicco, I had her drink tea as well for the energy. She had been invited to a party every night but Ludo never seemed to be home so I didn't bother sending her. This time I reset Ludo because I wanted Zumi to have some Friday night fun
When she arrived, I had her prepare a cheese plate for the other guests.
She got an opportunity to have a game of juice pong to increase her Jock status. She also won §100
Zumi won!
I saw Skip was there and sent her up to dance with him. Imagine my surprise to discover (although I should have remembered) that he is a coward!
I had Zumi ask Skip to watch the stars. I would die of old age waiting for him to do it!
While watching the stars, Zumi got another opportunity. This time it was to kiss a random sim. Pucker up, Skip! LOL

She rolled a wish to call Jeffrey Dean when she woke up so I let her have it. There is no way I am going to let her get her hands on him. I believe he has the irresistible trait so I can see why she is interested.
Zumi had an opportunity to give a presentation for extra credit.
After the presentation, I sent her to Eddy's place to ask him on a date. The couple kissing in the corner upset both of them. One, or both, of them must have been cheating.
They got over it quickly and it didn't take long for Eddy to start flirting
Then my simself decided to take it to the next step!
She's an adult so I could hardly say no!
When they had done the deed, Eddy went out to the landing to jam. I had Zumi join him because the guitar skill is good for her academic performance
After jamming for a couple of hours, they got back down to business
Eddy then wandered off to paint and Zumi found a bookcase.
As it was getting close to dinner time I had Zumi prepare a meal.
She has lots of tomatoes in her inventory so they ate spaghetti.
Eddy tried to watch the stars with Zumi but kept getting interrupted. As Zumi had a party to attend, she ended the date. It was awesome ... of course
At the party she did a keg stand with Jeffrey. He didn't drop her!
She then went out to watch the bonfire.
As she was about to leave, she rolled a wish to give a friendly introduction to Miles Forthright. I let her do it then sent her home to bed.

While she was eating I looked around the map to see what Eddy was up to. He was walking somewhere - so cute!
Because her relationship with Eddy's roommate Ronnie went down when she saw him kissing a sim he shouldn't have been kissing, she rolled a wish to meet someone new. I sent her to the Student Union. She met several new sims
Another kid hater!
Eddy must have been walking to campus when I saw him earlier and I found him outside the Student Union so sent Zumi out to say hi
After a bit of flirting they went their separate ways - Eddy to sketch and Zumi to study. I do love high free will, but Zumi needs to be more assertive or she will never find a husband!
After studying for a while, she wandered to the other side of the building to talk with Eddy's roommate Ronnie. He kept showing signs of being bored and/or annoyed and Zumi kept rolling wishes to be his friend and to talk with him. I had her do a few smooth recoveries and their friendship level would go up but then it would go down again. I gave up and sent her back to Eddy.
When she got there, I found Steve Texas, another of his roommates, upsetting him. Needless to say my blood boiled!
Zumi and Steve's relationship was already in the red from seeing him kissing Ronnie the previous day so the interaction to slap was right at my fingertips
One thing led to another and this happened!
I may have lost the physical fight, but I had the last word. The RL Zumi knows how to cut to the bone with words when she has to

Once again, Zumi went off to study while Eddy did whatever he was doing on his laptop.
Her studying was cut short by Ronnie who came over and upset her. I had no clue what he was saying so I went into map view and found that he was making fun of Eddy. To think I was trying to mend their friendship earlier!
I wanted Zumi to get away from all those losers, so had her invite Eddy home
One moment they were joking and making funny faces and the next they were in bed! Zumi DOES know how to be assertive it would seem
But it was short lived! LOL Eddy got out of bed to sketch when Zumi started studying.
After Eddy left, Zumi attended a party thrown by Ludo. He looks happy that she is preparing a meal
I added another recipe to her known recipes list so she made ratatouille this time
When she finished eating she headed out to watch the bonfire.
Cid threw a test tube into the fire and everyone got stinky!
I had Zumi chat with Skip but there were no sparks. Just to be sure I had her ask him to watch the stars.
All of Zumi's romantic wishes are for Eddy and her autonomous behaviour tells me a lot too

On the way to her second class, Zumi introduced herself to another sim. Good thing I don't take those hearts seriously ... someone stuffed up with the attraction system
Zumi's fun bar had taken a hit so I had her read before going to class.
As she was going in, I saw that Eddie was on the lot
Eddie was still there when she came out. "Get up Eddy! I don't want to see you on your knees unless you have a diamond ring in your back pocket!"
Zumi got one kiss in before they were both pushed to their next class.
When Zumi emerged from the last class for the day, she got a text saying that Ludo's party was starting. I clicked "Go to Party" but nothing happened which means that, as usual, Ludo was not home
Zumi was hungry so I sent her straight home for a meal.
Since there was no party to attend, I had her work on her painting skill.
I went into map view to find Eddy and found him at The Grotto. He was jamming when Zumi got there so I had her join him
Steve interrupted Eddy so I had Zumi stop and get ready to fight if necessary. Steve was well behaved this time.
Eddy asked Zumi to watch the stars but, before they could get to the door, Steve stopped Eddy for a chat. Zumi autonomously went back to Eddy to hold hands
Steve must have had enough chatting and Eddy was successful in his next attempt to watch the stars with Zumi
It was getting close to midnight so I had Zumi kiss Eddy goodbye and sent her home to bed.

Zumi only had one class today which didn't start until 12 so she enjoyed a leisurely breakfast without being pushed to school.
I looked for Eddy in map view and found him "meeting up" so I zoomed in and had a good laugh at his group all riding in a row
When Zumi finished eating, I sent her to the Quad to intercept Eddy
Every time they tried to flirt they would be drawn to those dang broadcasts so they didn't get anywhere
Since she had an opportunity to get an extra credit by preparing a meal, I sent her home to make crepes. I am sure she will be glad to see the end of the pancakes
All this autonomous studying could drive a Sim God to drink .... hang on, I had this problem before I ever found the sims!
Because she was pushed to class an hour early, I didn't begrudge her a nap on arrival

After flirting for a while, Zumi headed upstairs to play pool and Eddy stayed downstairs to bowl.
Since Eddy was still bowling I sent Zumi to the nearby pool for a quick skinny dip as per a wish she rolled earlier in the day.
When she got back, she chatted with Eddy for a while and then invited him over
They had leftover veggie rolls for dinner.
Eddy did the dishes! A man who does the dishes is very sexy!
Eddy took the initiative this time
While flirting afterwards, Eddy proposed that they go steady!
