Can't log into launcher

I've just had to reinstall my game and now I can't log in to the launcher. This also seems to be affecting downloading from the Sims 3 Store - as in, I can't! It won't accept my log in details when just a week ago, I bought some new items and was successfully able to download them. Anyone got any ideas?

Clearing out your Internet Explorer web browser cache should fix the login problem. For details please refer to the following EA Support page:

As Nich posted you need to clear your internet browser history. I find the easiest way is to use CClearner. Its free https://www.piriform.com/CCLEANER

Open CCcleaner . Your first option should be to clean all your internet browser history under applications. Click analyze and then run cleaner. It will clear all your internet browser history in one shot

Thank you to both of you. I tried the first method and it worked, and I spent 7 hours downloading all my content! I'll keep the CCcleaner in mind for next time though!
