Funniest Book Titles Your Writer-Sim Has Ever Written

If you have a writer-sim, you know that you can have a field day with creating book titles for your Sim's books. What are the funniest titles you've ever come up with for books. It's become a game with me to come up with the weirdest titles for books that I can come up with.

After River was abducted TWICE (just now) by aliens. She sat down to write a book called: (wait for it...)

"Re****-Probed By Aliens: (You're Going To Put WHAT WHERE?!!!)"

Yeah, I know. I'm a sick puppy

Always "River McIrish" ...and maybe some Bebe Hart. ~innocent expression~

Connor used to be a big writer in my saves but I haven't had him write anything for over a year, I do recall some pretty 'interesting" titles I made up though. I always used to end the title with /CF so I would remember he wrote it. I would do that for anyone who wrote a book in my house, it's amazing how quick I forget who wrote what, with the initials I remembered. ;)

I remember seeing this same topic years ago and I was just thinking about it today as my sim was writing her first book. :D Looking forward to the replies.

Eric Clapon had a whole urban fantasy series about a war between fae factions for the fate of humanity. The overall series name is "Legacy of the Flower War", and has such titles as "That Old Time Magic", "That Old Time Renewal", and "That Old Time Quest". I'd like to think he was publishing my fanfiction "Old Time Magic" series. The series is about fae based magical girls but features Ranma from Ranma 1/2, and to my surprise also features the Sailor Senshi from Sailor Moon.
Fear not the fae, for they are harmless. Anger not the fae, beware their wraith. Harm not the fae, fear the Faerie Knight.

I am so boring with my book titles. I tend to just choose the titles of books I have read over the years. Recently I read the Long Earth Series by Terry Pratchett (love me some Pratchett!) and Stephen Baxter so the sim who happened to be writing at that time did that set - The Long Earth, The Long War, The Long Mars, The Long Utopia and The Long Cosmos.

Hieronomous Q. Dismall, Ghost Writer (He's a ghost and a self-employed author). His first couple of books were taken from a Monty Python song: "All Things Dull and Ugly", "All Creatures Short and Squat" and "All Things Rude and Dangerous".

He wrote a ton of books, 30 or 40 at least. He endowed several parks & buildings in Midnight Hollow, and Dismall Dorm at the University.

Better than what I do... I just go with whatever name it randomly generates.

The night of the living taco. It is in a serious of books called the night of the living (insert food product here). My kids decided upon the series name, just FYI.

My legacy Sim lived in a really terrible apartment and started writing writing children's books about a rat named Lygoden that goes on adventures.

I ended up making some pretty funny titles like:
Lygoden Deals With Tattling And Ratting
Lygoden And The Hell Beast (cat)
Not In My House, Mouse: Lygoden Moves
    PiRATe Lygoden Sails The Seas
    Lygoden Learns Hide And Squeak

My hubby causes chaos in How To Live With Grace - - Pine Point tells Miranda Cole's survival tale - - Criminals build legacies in Glassbolt Prison

"The Hollow Chocolate Bunny of the Apocalypse" which is an actual book title.

@Simasaurus09 I also remember the topic from years ago. It's where I got the idea to use Dr. Who episodes as book titles. I think I made it through season 1 (new series) before that save borked on me.
    I voted for you, Kevin.

And River's son Brayden just wrote one called "My Sister's Fiance Got Probed By Aliens" Evidently the publishers like it.

I usually have my writer Sims use Cards Against Humanity (a very un-PC game) answers as book titles, so I can't post some of them here, for obvious reasons.

Some of the tamer ones I've used:

"What you don't know about [blank] can literally kill you."
"A sad fat dragon with no friends"
"Pooping back and forth forever: the musical"
"Step 1: [blank]. Step 2: [blank]. Step 3: Profit!"
    "Cards against Simanity"
    "Vigorous Jazz Hands"

    and more

    Ones I've created:

"Out of Ice Cream? Time to Die!"
    "You're a Hairy Wizard"

I also name them after 1) fanfics I've written for other games or 2) other stuff I like, such as my Simself's "Fellout" series.

But my personal favourite has got to be "Pa-Kanong: the Creature With the Big Face".

(I watched Arthur as a kid and, in one episode, that was the name of a movie that Buster tried to pass off as a book for a homework assignment.)

Most of the time I have my sim start with the Letter A and then go through the alphabet
Like Adventure of the Space Kids
    Blood on the Moon
    Crime of Love
    Don't Look Back
    Enemy in Space
    Finnegan the Fox etc.

Normally, my Sims write books with titles like -

    Laughter For Lame Brains (humor)
    Funny Bone Transplant (humor)

In one of my old games (I played with the Wolff family), I had Morgana write a kid's book with a "medical plot" called -

    How YOU Were Made (children's)

So many young Sims got the "birds & bees" lesson from Morgana's book! In fact, it was one of her best-selling books!

I just love Pratchett ! Especially the Discworld :D Never read the long earth series, if i'll manage to find them, i'll give it a try.

I had my sims once write the entire Harry Potter series, Green rider by Kristen Britain, the Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney, Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy and Lorenzaccio by de Musset. I think my sim started to hate me when i wanted to make him write the sword of truth by Goodkind :D

@lauravonawesome Cards Against Humanity is a great idea! I don't have it myself, although I have played it. I should dash out to the game shop soon and get it as I am sure my son and I will enjoy it as well as having them as an inspiration for book titles :)

@lulubadwolf It's been many years since I read a Discworld book although I would have read all published during the 80s and 90s. I often see them at the bookstore and see they are still going. Very impressive! I do wish I had my original books because I am sure my son would have got a kick from them.

Awesome idea! I have a bunch of the expainsons for that card game. Stealing this idea! :p

Like @MoonandStars83 I've used some Doctor Who titles. I tend to name my books on whatever tv show I'm watching at the moment.

But in my last game I got really boring.

For Drama: So Much Drama! and the sequel: Even More Drama!

And then for Humor: That's So Funny! and the sequel: That's Even More Funny!

I keep trying for the badge where you have to write 2 Sci-Fis, 2 Dramas, 2 Humors, 2 Mysteries, 2 Romances, and 2 Vaudevilles. But I NEVER make it. I always get bored with that sim/save around the time they're writing the Humor books. Maybe someday I'll stick with it.

After playing TS3 for year or so I was really struck by how repetitive many social interactions are. There aren't that many to begin with and the animations are reused over and over for different topics. This molded my world view of sim society as one where things are highly repetitive at the surface but with a lot of subtext underneath. This is reflected in many of the book titles I come up with by choosing a key word and trying to fit it's various forms in the title as much as possible while making some sort of sense:

The Strangely Strange Strangeness of Strangetown
My Humorous Husband Humorously Humors Me Hilariously
    Warp Factor Infinitely Infinite Infinity
Alien Domination Will Dominate the Dominatable!

I currently have a Bookworm mermaid who's a professional author. Some of his sports books (which I tend to think of as non-fiction, often about sporting goods or pushing the boundaries of what is considered a sport):

Scuba Diving 102: The Best Seashells are Not at the Seashore
Scuba Equipment Recs from a Merman who Doesn't Use Any
    Competitive Underwater Kelp Harvesting

At one point he received an opportunity to write a sci-fi novel for someone in town. This sim wanted "Lasers, adventuring through space, and discovering new planets where evil monsters may lurk..." So I came up with the most generic sci-fi title inspired by that description I could think of:

    Lasers in Space Hitting Targets

It was a hit! And so his younger sisters and brothers followed up on the theme each trying to one-up the other:

Powerful Lasers Smashing the Enemy to Bits and Pieces
Immense Laser Destruction in Epic Space Battles in Space
Epically Powerful Laser Destruction in Epic Space Battles in Space
Big Space Lasers in Big Space Battles in Space

And then sometimes I just do riffs on the game's suggested titles:

The Space Spy Spies on Time
The Space Spy Times the Time Spy
The Space Spy Traps the Time Spy in a Black Hole!
The Spacey Space Spy is Spaced Out From All That Space
The Time the Time Spy Spied on Time
Timing the Timely Time Spy Spying on the Timelessness of Time
The Future Spy of the Futuristic Future Goes to the Future
    Spaced Out Space Spy

I pretty much go with the situation the author is in at the moment. My legacy founder´s husband came out of the wishing well, her book "Loving a frog" became a best seller and gives a romantic moodlet when someone reads it. Her children´s book "My little newts" wasn´t as well received for some reason.
At the moment I have a sim, who is a doctor and is married to a fairy, so his first book title was "The doctor and the fairy". He also wrote a sci-fi novel named "Fairy in space". His son also got into writing, he is currently working on "The son of the space fairy".

I love the Terry Prattchet books to pieces (though not the long earth series. I don´t believe, he wrote any of it, it´s so not him). But I don´t steal book titles, I steal names. :p

One of my sims was an author of trashy novels with titles like
    The Misadventures of Miss Fortune.
Miss Fortune and the Bodice Ripping Pirate
Miss Fortune and the Delicious Duke
Miss Fortune and the Ravishing Rake
Miss Fortune and the Droolworthy Prince
The Great Panty Caper (also an actual book title)
    Superman Stole My Bikini Bottom.
I regret some of my life choices.

I had a writer sim called Blake Steel. He specialised in Sci fi books about Zombiods.

    So
    Zombiods from outer space
Zombiods on the star board bow
    Zombiod in love
    Zombiods met Godzilla
and on and on until I got very bored.

Before he became a full time writer Blake was a policeman and wrote a best seller called The mean streets of Sunset Valley.

For the rest I tend to pinch real titles so a book of poetry will be Palgrave's Golden Treasury, love stories such as Jane Eyre (the uncensored bits), The Tenant of Wildfell Hall (uncut) and Gentlemen prefer blondes (do they heck as like).
I no longer use Origin or My Page. You can find me on YouTube or Twitter as Bettyboop711000. You are welcome to contact me as I explore options for a PC sandbox life simulation game.
