Yeah... I don't like Nancy. So I actually should have put her in Malcolms situation, but she's Nancy, so it just seems unlikely she'd end up like that. But robbing her own son seemed like something she would do.
@ToastyChan I uploaded the Goth-Munch family to the Gallery. I gave them jobs and added a few skills to reflect their backstory. They do all have a full set of outfits that make use of items from various packs. You can find them here.
Not to rush, but when will we get a new one? Sorry I just love these.
I've never been as interested in TS4's premades as the ones from TS2, but I'm really enjoying what you're doing with them in this thread. The storylines you're giving them are a lot more interesting than the household blurbs they come with.
Thank you for uploading the Goth-Munchs! I have the same pairing in my rotational save and had Clarence meet his "brother" Anselm today
There was some confusion among the parents who exactly was whose son and the Wolfgangs shared a lot of gloomy talk with everyone in the household. Your Cassandra was probably the most at ease with the situation, giving concerts for the others while mine walked around aimlessly a lot, seemingly very confused.
Thanks for the comments. While it was not the intention of "promoting" the premades, it's nice to hear you're all feeling inspired.
Feng Family IX Landgraab, San Myshuno
Next door we still find the Feng family. Victor and Lily maintained their successful careers and adopted a boy called Julian. Not that Lily was too happy about it, but Victor convinced her that it would be good for his image as a politician and that it couldn’t hurt having a possible successor for the family business, when the time comes.
In the last election, Victor was voted president. A great accomplishment that he knew he wouldn’t fail at. A Feng doesn’t fail. Now that he’s in charge, there are always more and more Sims who want something from him. Victor delegates a lot of tasks and focuses on the essential, making the laws friendlier to businesses and rich Sims. It is also quite fortunate to live next door to Nancy Landgraab, her subordinates might come in handy in some matters. When Victor retreats to his skyscraper apartment, he likes to play chess with his wife or have philosophical conversations with his son.
It took Lily some time to adjust to being a parent, this greatly benefitted her career as she spent a lot of time at work (more than she already did). However, she slowly but surely accepted Julian. Sadly, he’s not the sort of son they’d have liked to have. He lacks ambition and that frustrates Lily extremely. She’s worked so hard and it would be a shame if the son and heir would spoil it all. Secretly, Lily accuses Victor of having gone soft, ever since they’ve had Julian, the plans to take over the city and the rest of the country seem to have vanished. Let’s hope Victor’s professional efforts can somehow redeem him a little.
Julian didn’t know what happened to him when the Fengs adopted him. He went from having to fight for his food and toys to having a wealth of everything. Everything except a lot of love and affection. But, never being used to it, he didn’t really miss it. Besides, Julian gets a lot of happiness out of having a lot of friends and hanging out with them. He doesn’t really want to take over the family business, but he doesn’t really have a choice, does he? He’d much rather become a food critic, or a chef if he’s good enough. But for now, he just wants to hang out and explore the city - something he was never allowed (and still isn’t), the Fengs are very protective.
Victor - Fabulously Wealthy - Genius, Materialistic, Perfectionist
Lily - Mansion Baron - Genius, Unflirty, Hates Children
Fengs are one of my favorite family
You gave them a great story
I do wish that Lily still had more traditional Asian outfit tho because it fits her so well.
So Victor is a soft hearted man after all.. nice to see this change, people always make him the standard evil sim of the town. I also like it how he didn't pressure Lily to give him a child and they adopted instead.
I must say Im feeling very inspired to play now! This thread reminded me what amazing things our imagination can do with this game. The best things always happen in our heads
I hope you'll do the new families from vampire and parenthood GPs too!
Ahaha, Nancy and J, they seem legit. (I'm trying to hold off playing him until the team or a modder makes a Lawyer Career in the game. But I will give him a middle name after the J, probably Byron, and he will work for the Rush, Rush and Delay Firm.) How fitting that she is always in fear of Malcolm, and it serves her right for robbing her own son blind. (Come to think of it, she could benefit from having a good lawyer. Since he's looking for a new career, I hope they get on that. )
I meant to mention that the poses really add a lot to the stories. You've used them to bring out the personalities. I was looking at some of the pose mods and I might have to try some of them for taking screenshots.
Yeah, I get a little carried away with some Sims' back story, haha. I just go with it, no use fighting it. That's why I love reading this, of course.

I did try, but most Asian outfits looked too "young" to properly suit a stern middle aged woman.

Actually the only reason I had them adopt a kid was because I needed more teens... But it makes for a nice story.
As for the new premades, I've only done the ones that live in worlds, so the vampires are in there (all the way at the end).
Parenthood only had promotional Sims, so I didn't take those into account. That said, someone could take all those other Maxis Sims from the Gallery and do something similar.

A lawyer career would be cool (I went to law school myself, even though I have a job in a completely different sector now).
The poses, it can be a chore to find the right ones, but they do add a certain something. If you need the links to any of these, I've linked them on my Tumblr posts.
Seeing as this post is rather long, I'll share the story of the Bheeda family in the next post
When Jesminder unexpectedly gave birth to triplets, she and Arun soon realised their apartment in San Myshuno really was too small. They scraped together all the money they could find and bought a nice little home in Oasis Springs where they had a bit more room for Kumar (middle), Kaveri (right) and Kavita (left). And a small bonus was a nice garden to grow their own veggies.
Because having triplet toddlers is a huge task, Arun temporarily gave up his job as a programmer. In between of flash cards, stacking blocks and reading bedtime stories, Arun did try to do a bit of freelance work. His time management app for parents with toddlers became quite popular. As much as he loved taking care of the kids all day, when the trips started going to school, he picked up his career again. It took some getting used to, but having some extra money won’t hurt, especially not when all your kids are the same age, a lot of expenses come at the same time.
With Arun being the stay-at-home parent, Jesminder was the one who brought in the money. She’s a well-known mixologist now, with her own signature mixed drink. Working in the evenings mostly, Jesminder still spent quite a fair amount of time with the kids during the afternoons (when Arun worked on his apps). They quite perfectly managed everything. Jesminder reckons Arun is the better parent, not because he spent more time with the kids, but because he is way more patient. Luckily the toddler tantrum days are some time behind them, but this also means Jesminder sees less of her children due to her working times and them going to school.
The oldest of the triplets is Kumar, he’s also the only boy. Not that it matter much, but he does use it to impress his friends. He generally gets along well with his sisters, although they like to gang up on him sometimes. Mostly because it’s so easy to get under his skin - he’s inherited Jesminder’s temper.
Second is Kaveri, who loves to make drawings and stick them on the family bulletin board. She also loves playing dolls and having conversations with her stuffed unicorn. Not that having two siblings and two parents isn’t enough Sims to talk, but they don’t always listen or understand. Kaveri is also fond of watching movies with the entire family - and eating popcorn.
The youngest is Kavita, not that she is much younger than her brother and sister. She likes to go to the park and play outside, she is a member of the League of Adventurers, but isn’t too pleased with Iggy Pancakes’ leadership. Kavita also loves helping her parents in the garden, even if it is just to learn about all the plants they have.
Arun - Fabulously Wealthy - Vegetarian, Ambitious, Family-Oriented
Fun Fact: These are the only triplets (actually, the only multiples) I ever had in my game. I have to say I was glad I could age them up right away, I don't think I'd have survived triplet toddlers
I love to mix things up with premades in my game and I'm know so inspired by yours that I have to go play when I get off work know! I was getting bored in my current game lol
> @ItsJanier said: > Fun fact: Kaveri means friend in my language(Finnish) > All of your families are so lovely!
Torille, kaveri.
I've thought on creating myself ingame and just moving in with some premade family. Because RPG. What do you guys think of that? Has anyone tried it yet and what was your experience?
Funnily enough, Jesminder had triplets in one of my saves too—my rotational save, specifically. I was quick to relocate them to Willow Creek once it was their turn in the rotation! That apartment they have is way too small for three kids plus them.
In my legacy save, Jesminder had triplets (two boys and a girl). In another save, she had twin girls.

That's really cool I actually specifically chose Indian/Hindi names for these children. And Kaveri is apparently a river in Southern India. Also, in retrospect, I should have swopped the girls' names, as Kavita means "poem". It would have suited their personalities better if they had the name of their sister
The Jang family expanded a little and they moved away from the city to a more spacious home in Oasis Springs. Baako and Anaya had another child themselves, little Angie, and also adopted one, Brendon. Billie was quite happy with the family expansion, because it meant her parents would spend more time at home and more Sims to make friends with.
After a very successful career as a comedian, Baako is now semi-retired. He still appears on tv shows from time to time - he’s good friends with Johnny Landgraab because of this. Mostly Baako just spends his time at home writing jokes or music. This makes a very decent income to support his family, now and in the future. He also loves to go on family outings - he especially loves to go bowling, although he never manages to beat Brendon.
Anaya is still a painter and prefers not to work from home. She finds it easier to concentrate without kids running around and asking things. Nevertheless, she still takes her motherly duties seriously and makes sure to spend enough quality time with each of the kids - and with Baako of course. She also likes to meet up with other painters and art critics sometime. To compare work and discuss colour theory and whatever else painters tend to discuss.
Right now, Billie dreams of becoming a famous comedian like her dad. But, she’s also loves music and dancing. So maybe there’s a future for her there, she’s trying to become a member of the famous Spin Masters. In the Meantime, she is the leader of her school’s cheerleader team and likes to add funny, quirky moves to their dance routines.
After Brendon was adopted, the Jang family had to make one big adjustment. And that is to cook without meat, because Brendon refused to eat it. Baako and Anaya intitially thought it was a phase, but even now as a teen, Brendon still doesn’t eat meat. In fact he’s very much into healthy living and spends a lot of time at the gym. And having such a well-trained body makes him very popular with the girls at school.
The youngest member of the family, Angie, is less focused on her future and prefers to live in the now. She’s inherited her parents’ love for music and likes to play violin and piano. Angie doesn’t mind when her older siblings drag her along to the pool, she often meets up with her friends there. But she also likes going to the library to play dollhouse stories or perform a puppet show.

Great thread, keep it up!
I do kinda wonder though, in TS3 it says Nancy is a Landgraab by blood and Geoffrey took her last name, is it true for this continuity as well?

Here applies the same thing I said about Don. Patience. (although, the Calientes and Don will probably not be far apart ).
It's nice to hear that the Bheeda's had multiples in a lot of people's games. In my saves, they always had a single child, until these three.
