Little Amelia is so cute! I love how even as they have gotten older, they have still kept their black and red clothes scheme Both Mortimer and Bella look amazing and I wonder if he'll ever find out about Bella's little friend.
You can't really have the Goths without red and black, can you?
Same goes for Cassandra...
The Goth-Munch Family Raffia Quinta, Oasis Springs
While a lot of people expected Cassandra to end up with Malcolm Landgraab, it was Wolfgang Munch who won over her heart. They have a little son, Anselm, and moved to Oasis Springs, in order to have a life of their own, not too close to their well-meaning but sometimes meddling parents.
Having a wife and child have inspired Wolfgang to mend his ways - a little. He quit the Renegades and has professionalised. He’s in the criminal career, but in the parts where it doesn’t get (too) messy (might also help that his in-laws have a lot of money and influence). Wolf does like to swipe a thing or two, here and there, but especially whenever he’s visiting Mortimer and Bella - they have too many fancy shiny things in their house. Cassandra always makes sure he returns everything though - he’s only allowed to do bad things while at work.
Cassandra never really liked books like her father and brother do, she always felt more compelled towards music. Over the years she’s become a respected and skilled violinist and she’s a valued member of the Magnolian Symphony Orchestra. Though Cassandra is considering giving up her job if their little family expands. Toddlers can be very tiresome, but Anselm brings so much joy to their lives that maybe, soon(ish), he might get a little brother or sister.
In contrast to the serious and gloomy nature of his parents, Anselm is a cheery little lad. He likes to play pranks (the fun kind) and is always laughing or smiling. While he loves the sunny atmosphere of Oasis Springs Anselm is always overjoyed when he gets to spend time with his grandparents (irrespective of whether it’s Mortimer and Bella or Mila and her husband - more on them next) in Willow Creek. He’s also very happy he has so many cousins, aunts and uncles who always want to play with him.
Wolfgang - Public Enemy - Mean, Gloomy, Kleptomaniac
Cassandra - Musical Genius - Creative, Gloomy, Music Lover
Now, Mila was never very actively looking for a new husband, she always managed just fine with her boys. But, while Geoffrey Landgraab was going through a rather nasty divorce (money being the main issue), he was often to be found in Mila’s kitchen. And that friendship between Mila and Geoffrey became something more. Which in turn led to a wedding and the adoption of Natalie. As you already know, Wolfgang moved out and Gunther now lives in the Munch family home causing Mila, Geoffrey, Lucas and Natalie to move to Willow Creek.
Most will remember Mila as a single mother who was struggling to make a living in the catering business. Well, the struggle ended after Mila won the first edition of the Great Magnolian Bake-Off. With the prize money she bought her own bakery in Windenburg’s Old Town. And because she was a big favourite with the fans she was asked to present the further editions of the tv-show. Mila hopes Lucas will take over her bakery someday, when she really gets too old.
Obviously, Geoffrey and Nancy got divorced - more details will be revealed when we get to the rest of the Landgraab family shortly. The only thing Geoffrey didn’t lose in that battle was his job. And while he’s now retired, Geoff had a respectable high-ranked job in the administration of the Sims Secret Service. These days, he likes to help out Mila in her bakery (and likes to snack a little more than is good for him) and has taken an interest in helping Lucas in his garden.
Lucas initially had to adjust to having a step-father. Having never known his own dad, he needed to get used to there being a man by his mother’s side. But things warmed up quickly and Lucas and Geoffrey are now good friends. He still hangs out with Elsa Bjergsen a lot, and is heavily annoyed by Alexander Goth’s attempts at asking Elsa out. Not that Lucas is interested himself, he’s got a thing for Olivia Kim-Lewis, but he doesn’t like his best friend being harassed. Lucas isn’t too keen on his mother’s plans for him to take over the bakery, he’d much rather his sister did it.
Not that there’s much of a chance of that. Natalie isn’t quite the sweet little angel Mila and Geoffrey would’ve liked to adopt. Natalie likes to cause trouble and while she’s learned to stay away from Lucas’ precious plants (something with a fire…) she certainly knows how to drive her teachers, and by extension her parents, crazy. If she goes to school that is. She spends a lot of time skipping school with Max Villareal, plotting things to bully their annoying classmates (with the exception of Elsa Bjergsen - nobody messes with her - and Lucas, obviously). While the relationship between Natalie and Lucas seems troubled, they’re actually friends, of sorts, mostly to please their parents. Not that family matters much to Natalie, she’s thinks the vampire way of having a family is far more interesting (and efficient).
Geoffrey - Successful Lineage - Outgoing, Family-Oriented, Good
Mila - Big Happy Family - Good, Foodie, Cheerful
Lucas - Outdoor Enthusiast - Loves Outdoors, Good
Natalie - Master Vampire - Evil, Hates Children
(I know Natalie is evil, but Lucas' eyes seriously creep me out, even glasses can't hide that freaky stare).
Thanks for all the sweet comments
I love that everyone likes Cassandra and Wolfgang together. I initially had different plans for them, but eventually though, why not? Glad it turned out well
I've been enjoying all this. It's nicely presented. Nice pairing of Geoff and Mila. Woow, what IS up with Lucas' eyes? Is it like that all the time? Poor guy. I'd be so tempted to be like, "I can fix that for you..." I admire your stance on it, like, that's how the game wants him. I can't wait to see what became of Nancy in the romance dept. It's hilarious that Wolfgang lifts a few choice items from the Goth Manor and Cassandra sneaks them back in.
In my Pancake-Goth Save, Cassandra is showing signs of succumbing to Max's charms. I guess she likes the Bad Boys, eh? He hasn't been mean to her. But then again, he isn't Mean, he's Evil. Which means Bella can't stand him. He Dismisses Her Goodness all the time. He gets Happy when she's miserable, and laughs maniacally. It's pretty funny. Bob (Bella and Bob are married.) tolerates him, but I have Bob get in his face if Max is being too much of a pain to Bella. Max got the Goofball trait when he aged up to Teen, so he once did the Slap Silly interaction on Bob. Bob actually laughed, but then got Gloomy and stalked off to the kitchen and started gloomily cooking. Morty actually gets along better with Max than Bella or Bob. Morty is so dang agreeable. His new GF, Nikki, a Sim I did in CAS, is Hotheaded, tho. So she does not like Max's ideas of jokes, which are mainly pranks, TBH. Alexander plays video games with him, but that's about it. Alex is about to give Olivia a promise ring. They've been dating since they became Teens. I wonder if that interaction is still bugged... Anyhow, Cassandra's a YA now, and Max is still a Teen, so I may have to Age him up soon.
@DoloresGrey Well, she is only a game generated adopted child. I didn't tweak anything, except clothing and such.
@RL Yeah, that combo seemed sort of natural to me. Geoffrey and Nancy never were a good couple if you ask me. Not that anyone deserves to be with Nancy really...
@Livin in Sim It's nice to read what's going on in your game. I like the thought of Bob and Bella together. Though, I like Morty too much to separate him from his precious Bella, so they always stay together in my game.
Anyway, time for Gunther
Munch Family Coorinberg Cottage, Windenburg
Let’s see what happened to the remaining member of the Munch family. Everyone thought Gunther would end up marrying Maaike Haas. But he didn’t, he fell for Maaike’s housemate Ulrike Faust. And while they wanted to have children, they didn’t quite expect to have two sets of twins. First there were Michael (in the back) and Daniel (the one in front of everyone) and then came Selina and Nathan. Luckily there’s always grandma Mila and grandpa Geoffrey to help out, even though they don’t live in the same town anymore.
Gunther makes a decent income as a writer. While he’d have liked to become a journalist, he settled on writing historically inspired books. This allows him to work from home a lot, which is quite handy when you have a lot of kids. Gunther isn’t always the most consistent in his parenting, which drives Ulrike mad, but then again, she’s the other extreme. Luckily they manage to embrace each other’s flaws.
And what also helps is that Ulrike often works from home whenever Gunther doesn’t, and vice versa (which can be confusing for the kids, though the older boys know how to take advantage of it). That way they don’t get too much in each other’s way in terms of parenting. Being a painter, and a quite successful one at that, allows Ulrike to work from home as well. The shed in the backyard is her studio. The rest of the house went through thorough renovations to accommodate the entire family. While they don’t have much time for a social life outside the family, Ulrike and Gunther do like to go to Gallery openings every now and then.
While he was born only ten minutes before his brother, Daniel likes to let his brother know he’s the oldest. Not because it matters to him, but mostly because it does matter to Michael. But, being twins, identical twins, they’re inseperable and they love to switch places. Daniel often borrows his brother’s spectacles (with or without Michael’s knowledge) and pretends to be him.
As much as Michael loves to join his brother in playing pranks, he does have a serious side. He likes to read their father’s books - especially the one on the ghosts who live at the Von Haunt Estate - and is an absolute Voidcritter nerd. The one thing that annoys him more than his brother being older, is his brother having a limited edition Canis while has just a normal edition.
Having a big family isn’t something Selina cares for much. She doesn’t like all the fuss and everyone trying to teach her all sorts of things. She just wants to play on her own and explore the house to later tell her twin brother, in their own secret language, what she encountered. Selina likes it when aunt Natalie comes to babysit, she knows that toddlers are best left alone.
Explorer extraordinaire is Nathan. He knows his way around the house better than anyone - he even managed to enter dad’s office which is normally locked. Contrary to his twin, Nathan loves being taught, especially because he can ask all sorts of questions. Big brother Michael pretty much is the only one patient enough to answer all his questions, even if he doesn’t know everything himself.
Gunther - Renaissance Sim - Bookworm, Creative, Clumsy
Ulrike - Painter Extraordinaire - Creative, Art Lover, Perfectionist
Daniel - Social Butterfly - Goofball
Michael - Whiz Kid - Genius
Selina - Independent
Nathan - Inquisitive
And yes, they randomly rolled two sets of twins. Not exactly what I had in mind for them, but we must respect the randomiser.
I am totally loving this thread! It reminded me of some families I would forget even existed. Lol. So, it's helping me get more ideas which families to play and see what I can come up with.
Before we move on to see what happened to the other Landgraabs, let’s see what become of Ulrike’s old housemate Maaike.
After she refused Gunther for not being up to her standards, Maaike witnessed the man, who may well have been the love of her life, run off with her not particularly well liked housemate. She was left heartbroken, realising her own arrogance caused all this and there was no way to ever set it right again. Nevertheless, all the emotional turmoil inspired Maaike to start writing romance novels. Later on she further specialised towards historical romance. Her book “When Mimsy Met Bernard” became an international intergalactical bestseller (it’s extremely popular on Sixam). With a little fame and nice amount of money, Maaike abandoned her run down cottage in Windenburg and now rents a spacious apartment in San Myshuno’s Arts Quarter. And who knows what artistic souls she will encounter her, a soulmate perhaps?
Maaike - Bestselling Author - Bookworm, Creative, Snob
I absolutely love this! Makes we want to start a save with pre-mades now. Interesting that Bob & Eliza stayed together, I've found her to be quite the flirt around town in my current game. Maybe having kids put things into perspective for her.

Sorry for the slight delay in posting, but I wasn't at home.
Thanks for the nice comments @Simfreak982 Well, I do have another story in which they didn't stay together.
And now, the Landgraabs
Patel-Landgraab Family Affluista Mansion, Oasis Springs
Thanks to Geoffrey, Johnny Zest became reinstated as the official heir to the Landgraab fortune. Not that Johnny, who was forced to change his name back to Landgraab, really cares about all the money, but there’s a sense of justice to it. And with the money also came the luxurious villa on top of the hill in Oasis Springs. Before all that happened, Johnny was already dating Zoe Patel and they’re now happily married and have two adorable sons.
There may not be a need to work, but Johnny has become a successful comedian. He has his own scheduled shows and is a permanent member of a comedy show panel. Each of his shows has a part called “Trailer Time” where he tells humourous stories about the time he still lived in that shabby trailer in the desert. Because he mostly works the evenings, Johnny spend a good deal of time at home with his kids, mostly doing fun stuff.
The romance between Zoe and Johnny had a bit of a rough start, due to various misunderstandings - some of them related to Zoe’s former housemates. However, things go really smoothly now. When Johnny became the Landgraab heir again, Zoe was all of a sudden raised to socialite status. Their wedding was the celebrity event of the year and various offers for real-life tv came in. As much as Zoe loves the attention, she didn’t want cameras in her home 24/7. So she decided to share the parts of her and Johnny’s life that she wanted to share by starting a blog. That, and the fact that she isn’t scared of sharing her clumsy moments, made Zoe one of the most popular Sims in social media. Most of the time she is actually parenting, but she knows when to take cute or interesting pictures and videos to share with her followers.
Quite naturally, Timmy takes after his parents and is a social creature. He loves to hang out with his friends and tell jokes. He’s also very fond of his little brother and really enjoys playing together. Timmy is quite possibly the most serious member of the family, he tends to get annoyed when his parents act a bit too silly. But at least they still help him with his homework, so it’s not all fun and laughter.
Little Barry loves living in a big house with a big garden where he can run around to his heart’s content. And play hide-and-seek with his parents. He’s a little mischievous, but in the cute way that toddlers are. One of his favourite things to do is throw his food off the high chair and laugh out loud. Unless it’s chicken nuggets - his absolute favourite food.
Johnny - Joke Star - Outgoing, Goofball, Ambitious
Zoe - Friend of the World - Cheerful, Goofball, Clumsy
I knew that Johnny was a "unlisted" member of the Landgraab family but i always wondered where in the family he was ? The oldest son of Geoffrey maybe ? Where is he at least in your story ?
