... a Sim to to throw a whim for "Try for Baby" with a romantic partner that they are not married to? When it comes to choosing partners, having kids, etc. I prefer to let my Sims decide who with/when, and not all of my romantically paired Sims get married, which means that they never throw a whim to try for a baby so it's always down to me, which is fine, but I'd rather let them choose when the time is right.
