MCC Culling ?

So after playing as this single sim for over 2 years I finally made him have a baby and get married. Once I scrolled up to the top of the family tree I noticed the grandmother is GONE ???? WHAT? What's the point of having a family tree if you can't look back at it and see everyone thats in it? Any body know how to prevent this and or fix it ? Also his mothers sister is a ghost but I don't know how to find her? I downloaded the MCC and bypassed the culling but what does this do ? There were quite a few options for bypassing culling so I'm a bit confused which one can prevent this. Sorry for the long post lol

In very large families sometimes the family tree will get messed up. I have this too. I have around 62 family members but not all are on the tree while they are still around. I guess the game gets confused which sim is family and which is not.
Also MCCC can bypass culling but the game will get unstable if too many sims are around and EA rules will sometimes come into play, still culling some sims.
To prevent this, mark the specific sim to be never removed. This way they'll always be around even after their deaths.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention this but if you want to keep track of all the family members, there's this site called the Plum Tree App which will conveniently list all sims you put in. Far better than the in-game family tree as it will ruin over and over imho.

If you have his mother' s sister's urn, you can place it on your home lot, and she will appear overnight.
