Welcome to my very first Challenge in the Sims 4. Let your creativity break out and have some fun with this challenge, and the winner could end up on the Heart & Home Magazine Cover (not a real one lol).

Challenge #2: Fixer Upper - Pyramid Style - Download Link

A Young Adult with his/her ailing parent and young toddler have moved to Oasis Springs to begin a new life. The only house they could afford was a run down pyramid style home. The current lot value is $59,396. It needs a major update, both the outside and inside, as the pool in the backyard is a muddy brown and bubbling. There are only two bedrooms, one for the ailing parent and one for the toddler. The third floor is an art studio that the YA wants to make use of, but also needs a more private bathroom and a bed. They are on a very tight budget, so choose carefully how you wish to proceed.

Criteria:
  • The total lot value has to be $70,000, it can not go over.
  • Only one item in each room can get an upgrade or new item (must be done), everything else has to stay as is (this is Buy Mode only)
  • Unwanted clutter can be removed, but the core pieces of each room need to stay (like if it's a living room, the furniture that makes the living room need to stay).
  • The third floor needs to be an art studio, slash bedroom with a small bathroom.
  • The Pool area needs some TLC. Which means the fence needs an update as well as the entire enclosed area.
  • All interior and exterior walls need to be changed. (as well as all water marks, cobwebs, ripped wallpaper need to be patched and fixed).
  • All doors and windows need to be replaced (not moved or resized).
  • Can not expand the rooms or tear down walls. Rooms can't be rearranged either.
  • All columns have to stay where they are, but can be replaced or repainted. The one in the kitchen can be removed.
  • In place of all the grass, dead plants, dead trees or overgrown plants must have new plants planted in a more manicured sense.
  • A Winning Shot will be needed (be creative) that shows off the best of the home. Front of house shot. (So it could be night time lit up, on an angle.)
  • Please use the hashtag(s) provided.
  • It does not need to be on a 20x15 lot, but no more than 30x20
