Because Tristram didn't have any gardening wishes and has already reached level 8, I sent Rune out to water the plants. Unfortunately it didn't trigger a wish to increase his gardening level.
Akantha had a wish to find a rock. There is a spawner right beside the house so she got back quickly - in time for Jareth to scare her before school

I am thinking of taking down some walls because the family have a little trouble getting to the table without getting in each other's way. I quite like the enclosed dining room but it is not really practical for sims.

When I added Katherine to the house, the game got a little slow. I was originally planning on keeping her for one day but decided against it. I had Tristram ask her to marry him as soon as I was able to. It was no mean feat since she is also a party animal and kept trying to make her way to the bar! When she accepted the proposal they had an instant wedding and were moved out. I will miss Tristram but I am sure I will see him around the town
I saw Akantha and Boronia heading for Beau and Lotta's bedroom for a pillow fight.
Boronia must have amazing plantsim strength! Beau and Lotta, totally oblivious to the kids, came in for a woohoo
I checked on Tristram and Katherine and they were still standing outside their new home. It is tiny but the only other free houses were massive. I saved some mid-size houses to the library after saving for the day and will set them up better if and when they get pregnant
Rune came up for a pillow fight with Boronia too! Beau and Lotta just kept doing what they were doing

Jareth is a disciplined sim and found the training dummy on his own. When he leveled up, he rolled a wish to spar with someone and I realized that none of the family had MA skills so I sent Beau upstairs to get to the first level so he could help his son out

I've missed so many of your updates while I was away! Tristram is such a handsome YA, and Katherine is very pretty too, so I'm curious to see what their kids will look like! Jareth is a very cute teen too - actually, he looks a lot like Tristram.
I've noticed in my games too that when I move some inactive sims to a new house they spend a long time just standing in front of it, sometimes the whole night.
I didn't know sims could watch a TV on the upper floor! And yay for pool parties that actually make sense!
@PalmArrow Thanks for the lovely comments Tristram and Jareth both got Beau's face shape and hair colour but, from memory, I think that Jareth got Beau's eyes and nose while Tristram got Lotta's.

I totally forgot it was Boronia's birthday until I got the popup while the family ate breakfast! It didn't help that Beau, although listed as her father in the family tree, doesn't roll the usual dad wishes because of her being a plantsim.
Jareth had a wish to catch a bug, Brone is heading to the fish pond because of a fishing wish and Rune is about to water the plants in the hope of triggering a wish to increase his gardening skill.

I left them to it and checked back on Jareth. I didn't have him try another kiss because he was already dejected about the last rejection. At least he has a Prom date

The family gathered at the Town Hall to see Tristram graduate.
By the time they got inside Beau was smoking! It didn't help that it took them forever to get inside and he ended up going in last.
Tristram graduated Class Valedictorian and was voted Most Likely to Take Over the World
When they got home, I let them go to do whatever they wanted. Akantha played on the computer, Boronia played with the Cow Plant, Lotta was chatting with Jareth and Brone was playing an instrument. These three chatted for a bit.
I can't remember which of the kids set this booby trap, but Beau found it
I found Jareth tutoring Brone. They are both geniuses so I doubt either needs tutoring

I noticed that Rune didn't have much athletic skill so I had him exercise on the barre.

Katherine aged up the previous evening so she will be joining the household later in the morning.
I realized that Jareth had no gardening skill so I sent him to water the garden. Rune could also do with some more skill so I sent him as well.
Tristram rolled a wish to make pancakes after eating them for breakfast. I can't remember what level he has reached but he will be able to feed his future family well
After the garden was watered, I sent Beau and Lotta out to do the hard work. Rune, being irresistible is a magnet for the family. Jareth and Tristram were lining up to talk with him and Brone was also on his way out of the house to do the same.

When the morning chores were done, I had Katherine join the household. She went straight to Tristram
When I added Katherine to the house, the game got a little slow. I was originally planning on keeping her for one day but decided against it. I had Tristram ask her to marry him as soon as I was able to. It was no mean feat since she is also a party animal and kept trying to make her way to the bar! When she accepted the proposal they had an instant wedding and were moved out. I will miss Tristram but I am sure I will see him around the town

I checked on Tristram and Katherine and they were still standing outside their new home. It is tiny but the only other free houses were massive. I saved some mid-size houses to the library after saving for the day and will set them up better if and when they get pregnant
Rune came up for a pillow fight with Boronia too! Beau and Lotta just kept doing what they were doing

Jareth is a disciplined sim and found the training dummy on his own. When he leveled up, he rolled a wish to spar with someone and I realized that none of the family had MA skills so I sent Beau upstairs to get to the first level so he could help his son out

I've noticed in my games too that when I move some inactive sims to a new house they spend a long time just standing in front of it, sometimes the whole night.
I didn't know sims could watch a TV on the upper floor!

Jareth had a wish to catch a bug, Brone is heading to the fish pond because of a fishing wish and Rune is about to water the plants in the hope of triggering a wish to increase his gardening skill.

Akantha had a wish to read a book. Boronia's waking wish was to talk to Beau and that was taken care of over breakfast. She headed out to play on the spring rider before the school bus came.

Dusty took a while to come in because he had been fishing at the back of the yard.
Although she had hair as a toddler and child, I decided to let Boronia wear plantsim hair on aging up. I think it suits her
With Tristram gone, there was enough cake for all
I won't say that I like the plantsim state, but it is good to try something different from time to time. I am looking forward to trying photosynthesis and communing with plants, two wishes I have locked in.
I usually cancel Lotta's attempts to play catch with Beau because it usually happens during the day. I didn't stop her this time because Beau is safe after dark
