this is a pack for the gaming branch i think it should allow the sims that make games to get more profit and fame.
This allows sims to pick a genre for a game which can effect how much the game sells for example if fighting games are the most popular genre you are likely to get more money from it depending on how many games the genre has however if you manage to make a top selling game off a low profiting genre you get more rewards because you will have less games competing with yours.
you can also add updates to games that have the online category while games with a story category can't be updated however they can be given sequels depending on your sims luck and skills and your choices the sequal may explode with popularity because of its first game being a success the more sequels good you make the larger amounts of money you get however the downside of story categorized games is that they give you less and less money overtime and it can go all the way to zero.
you will be able to make your own game company meaning you can gain employees,fans,investors and you can make partnerships with other game companies in order to make games that each company gets 50/50 of the credit and profit.you can also work for game companies as a game designer game programmer and etc.
