Can someone help with a corrupted sims 4 game

i accidentally had my mods on before updating and since i made creations with some mods i left it on not thinking i updated my sims 4 game and then after updating i got a message saying it is unable to play because its missing something can someone help

is it telling you that a mod is no longer supported / working? i have that issue frequently and it normally results in me purging my folder of corrupted or outdated mods. another good idea would be to copy your tray, saves, and mods folder and then simply re-install the game with all the new updates. once that's done, you can just copy your tray, saves and mods back over.

is their a way to make the sims 4 work without reinstalling because i feel like it will be no use i have already tried repair and it didnt do anything

You have to take out all the mods from your Sims 4 mod folder. Move them to somewhere else like the desktop. Then restart your computer and try to update the game again.
