… what will greet you upon awakening for the day. Today is a bit of a sad day. Found out our Best Man's, and our best friend, lost his ancient father early this morning. His father was in his nineties, and broke his hip. It's never a good thing when an elder breaks a hip. Mostly, you need to say your goodbyes without being morbid.
If you have a Dad (I lost mine nearly 13 years ago) give him a hug. Tell him what he means to you and do it NOW. Sometimes, you just never know.
Take it from me, I nearly died 7 1/2 years ago. No one is immune to death. I thank God every morning when I wake up to a new day. Although my Neurologist claims I don't have a time stamp on the bottom of my foot, I know I'm on 'borrowed' time.
