Extra club customisation

I love the club system as it stands but I occasionally want to set an activity or admission requirement that the game doesn't allow. With that in mind I would like to suggest the following additions:

-Set membership rules male/female members only
-Set membership rules to unemployed sims only. I wanted to do this yesterday with my stay at home mum but there is no option for it.
-Set membership rules to allow single/sims with a boyfriend/girlfriend. At present the options are Married and Not Married which makes it tricky when creating a club for singles.
-Alterations to the wealth parameters. The game lists 30, 000 simoleons as the guide for Wealthy sims but so many of the houses cost so much more, that I think 30k is much too small a number to account for truly wealthy sims. I would like to see some modifications to this, and perhaps some extras such as Filthy Rich for sims possessing funds and property worth 100, 000+. Or even 50, 000!
-Ability to set herbalism skill as a club activity.

As much as I love the club system I do believe some things are still missing, for one there is no singing skill boost perk, and no club admission requirements that you listed above. For the simoleons I believe you should just be able to type out how much you want your sims to have more/less of.

It's a great system but these enhancements would make it even better.

Someone yesterday suggested a group for mums and toddlers but toddlers can't be in clubs.

If you don't mind using a mod, there is a mod over at MTS for male/female clubs only, the creator has updated it a few times, the last update was April 2nd, so it seems to be updated pretty often if need be. http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=584409

MC Command Center also now apparently adds this filter if you have the Clubs module.

Really? I will have to look at the game settings next time I am in my game, would love if I could use MCCC instead of another mod. thanks

There's no MCCC setting to enable for it - it should just show up.

There's no MCCC setting to enable for it - it should just show up.

Ahhh, these are great ideas. I like @filipomel's idea of manually entering the money requirement. I agree that 30,000 is waaaaay too low for the maximum. Most of my Sims are in that category and so it's a fairly ineffective club rule at the moment. And I have the same problem as OP when it comes to Singles clubs.

I really hope these can be implemented one day. I love clubs but they could be even better.

I agree with the alterations to Low, Middle and Wealthy Class.

I think wealthy Should be well over 500,000+ because I have a group of 5 Multi-millionaires called "The Briarwood Elite". and then there's their counterpart group, I named the "The House Wives of Briarwood" so maybe Wealthy should be closer to a million 750,000+

Does it count their assets? the Sim's Lot worth, if they own a retail/restaurant. or is it just their funds?

Poor should be the 50,000 - mark

middle class is everything in between

Totally agree with this. "Wealthy" currently hits almost every housed Sim.

And Aspirations as a club requirement that you've completed. like "Complete Mansion Baron" to get into this group.

I'd like to see a Location filter added so we can make say, The Willow Creek Kids club vs The Oasis Springs Kids club.

filters for having specific aspirations, and also being able to make negative filters. Like, for instance, the requirements would be sims WITH the genius trait but WITHOUT the evil trait, or a club for VAMPIRES but NOT vampires with the "good vampire" aspiration, stuff like that.

I second all of the aforementioned (especially the adjusted wealth filter) plus I want expert clubs that require 5+ skill instead of 2+.

I think it would be nice if we could define the type of the club like:

1-Club of friends
2-Band
3-Family
4-School club
5-Sports team
6-Job or Coworkers

boosting this, and adding requests for some more specific dos and don't in a club, along with a ranking system. Like, you could designate a Primary activity, and the other activities would be things to do when the first wasn't available, or the sim was too tired or bored or whatever. and some ideas for additional activity options would be:

make a mess,for kids (or specifically, DON'T make a mess, lol)
watch a SPECIFIC type of tv, or live performance
be able to specify Perform Karaoke, and not just sing randomly lol
more food and drink specific things, like the grilled cheese option, such as Drink Nectar
specifying certain types of books to read. Like, I want to be able to make my vampire club only read vampire books, without having to go in stock every bookshelf exclusively with vamp books. Tho, this one could be solved by having buyable "theme based" bookshelves, that come prestocked with certain books.

And lastly, being able to set 'OR' requirements that aren't of the same type. Right now I could make a club that allowed sims with the Mean or Evil trait, but NOT one that allowed sims with that were Mean, Evil, OR in the criminal career. I could only make something that ignored trait or career, or one that required every sim to have BOTH, which is very limiting. Another example of this I've run into is, say I wanted to make a chess club for kids that allowed any kid with +2 mental OR who had the genius/bookworm traits--yeah, can't do that. And I've mentioned this before, but aspirations should be an option too. So, ideally, I'd be able to make a club that allowed any kid with +2 mental, had the genius/bookworm traits, OR had the whiz kid aspiration.

Also, would love if there was a way to include toddlers and pets somehow, and have things like "play with animals" "train dogs" and "be friendly with cats/dogs" be an activity option.

I love clubs, but because I use them so much, I'm always running into things I can't do!
