Hey guys! Just went to see Ragnarok yesterday (had to act quick, it's only on for like 2 more days in my hometown) and it. Was. AWESOME! Taika Waititi is indeed a wizard. The jokes were spot on (I think he said in an interview that he wanted to bring out Thor's funny side, which I agree has been woefully under-utilised so far), Chris Hemsworth has a knack for comedic timing for sure, and also: Loki gets humiliated a lot. He's my fave little dumb jerk-face and I love it when he gets his just desserts, so that's perfect for me. I felt that if they spent five more minutes on the villain, it would have been awesome. Loki got a handful of scenes to showcase why he's doing what he's doing back in the first Thor movie and it made the character great and relatable, cuz we could see the emotions behind his decisions. He felt deeply hurt, lonely and betrayed. This lady just feels like she's saying "not cool, man, not cool". Not the same level emotionally. Also why hire Cate Blanchett if she doesn't have an opporunity to act the plum out of the whole thing? So that felt like a bit of a waste.
It looks cool but I see the villain is CGI. Let's hope they don't ruin it like the Justice League's villain who was also CGI and wasn't done very well. XD
Other than that, I love all the new costumes on the superheroes. ^^
I just saw the Infinity War trailer last night and realized there are still a few Marvel movies I have not seen (ex: Ant-Man) and I need to catch up on everything before I can see the new movie.

True. I haven't seen Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy... and Civil War and Spiderman Homecoming... Oops.
I saw Ant-man before and it's okay. XD The bad guy is not really someone with super powers or whatever but then again, Ant-man doesn't have superpowers either. So, he's kinda fighting with someone the same caliber as himself.
Seen them all except for The Incredible Hulk. I'm going to be a hot mess if Cap dies in any future movies due to his contract coming to an end. Sidenote: I thoroughly enjoyed the new Thor movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope fase four is Fantastic Four and X-Men. Now that Marvel finally has them since they are pretty much done buying Fox I'm hoping for the very true, actual, wholesome X-Men to show up and get rebooted. That mess of X-Men movies Fox made needs to be trashed and buried. Also a not 🐸🐸🐸🐸 up terrible FF.

Honestly, Iron Fist was so terrible in Defenders and his own show I don't even understand. He's so easy to hate as he's just terrible. And Colleen has to be the most boring character ever. Jessica Jones though, can't wait for season 2, the first was spectacular. Also wonder now that Marvel has Fox what will happen to Legion season 2? That is one of the best Marvel shows out there honestly. The only good thing Fox made. Aubrey Plaza as the Shadow King was just fenomenal.
I like Marvel and DC. I'm also very happy Domino is getting a solo, ongoing comic starting in April with Gail Simone (Birds of Prey) writing it.
