While your idea of a bigfoot occult is interesting, I think it would be better for a forest to have a gingerbread house, containing a witch occult. Somewhere where your sim can go and learn to become a witch, or just get scared by the witch.
A fairytale forest could be how a few other occults get added.
The big bad werewolf man, who creeps about after dark. Poisoned apples, that leave your sim napping for a couple of days. A frog prince/princess, who if you manage to woo, and wed, come with a secret castle lot. Fairies (what kind of fairytale forest would it be without them?).
I would love to have TS4 more like TS3 in the way of how many blank towns there were and the ability to add more lots as many as you want. I would also like to be able to build my own apartment buildings.
