I'm just a little excited for this... no big deal

We'll find out next week what the community stuff pack will be but that doesn't mean we can't daydream and brainstorm for the time being

What would you like to see ideally in an Arcade Stuff Pack?

I would love to see a variety of different arcade games, similar to what we had with TS3.

Single player arcade games



Skeetball and Basketball





Whackathing (whackacorndog was cute LOL)



The claw with special unique prizes


OR maybe we can be old school and sims could get tickets for doing well in the games.

They can spend their tickets on prizes (some cheap goofy ones and others - rare coveted locked objects)

I think all of that would be cool! Special stuff for the Geek trait would be nice. Maybe a career to be a video gaming sensation or something? Also some nerd chic clothes! More nerdy items could be cool. Posters, figurines, maybe even some fandom inspired duvets! Don't even need new beds necessarily, just if they could add swatches to the beds already in game.

I know they have Llama-man but where are his villains? They could use an arcade theme to open up the world to even more geekery! Imagine how much cooler the comic con esque festival could be!

Dance Dance machinnnessss. Also maybe some racing bike/car kind of games? Then there are those martial arts kind of two player games in arcades. For the claw machine idea, definitely would like it especially if you could get some claw-machine-exclusive kind of toys/decoration for your sim?

I'd just mainly like more variety of stuff, especially to go along with bowling alleys.

Yea dance machines/racer bike games have never been done before so that would be awesome. Great ideas!!

Pinball! Even if just one table! I loved the pinball in Sims 2.

the arcade having arcade machines some that are like the older ones to play with and some you play to get tickets so that you can redeem with the tickets. giant teddy bears or any type of plushies, medium and small ones, candies tablets, dolls the list is endless for the stuff that you could win but for the price. then there are the claw machine/ufo/stacker/key master games where you have to use skills for the game and patients for the game. some sims has it some don't. this could be a thing where teens, dates and families can go to. plus adding to the bowling stuff you can a bowling area and an arcade, it would be amazing to be able to run the arcade as well.

Yessssssss!!! I like the suggestions in the opening post. That's similar to what I had in mind too. I really would like the ticket collecting and the tacky gifts too. I liked the weird things we could get in TS1 like the crystal skull and strange ornaments.

Wandering off topic a little, I'd also like casino objects and fair/carnival type objects, but I guess they would be in another pack.

Oh, pinball!!! I'd really like a normal sized pinball machine. Great for pubs or trendy apartments too!

What about that spinning thing that spin and flip in Sims 2 that made the Sims either gain a body point or they got dizzy I've seen some in arcades in RL.

Arcade Stuff was my number 1 vote, I would love to see Ski ball, some sort of arcade machine, and the claw game, but honestly I would be happy with anything they give, whether that would be pinball, a dance dance machine, basketball mini game, or whatever, anything arcade related I'd be super pumped for. And yes, I can just imagine the CAS options, all geeky and nerdy, ugh I can see it already!

I think it's called Electro Sphere I loved those I'm mean it won't give out tickets but it's fun. And also have a snack bar

I say Pool Tables, Air Hockey Tables, Zapper Games (shooting). Ski Ball. As well as a various Cabinet games. And a ball pit for Kids and Childish adults, though that is more Kid Food place than Arcade but still. For a radio station it would have been something that sounded like Chiptunes.

I'm sure I'll be happy with whatever content they include, as long as there is a new venue type to go with it. The fatal flaw with the Movie stuff pack IMHO is that there was no cinema venue included.

Yes, good point! I'd like it to be an actual new venue type as well. And it would be good if it was tuned mainly towards teens. But I'd like the machines to work in bars and on home lots too.

CAS would be interesting!! (I'd want some nerdy accessories - maybe a pixel heart necklace !)

Yes... that would be funny. I could picture some of the angry/sad moodlets when it doesn't work though.

Neat ideas! I would like to see the toddlers in the ball pit, that would be super cute! LOL

Yea - I agree. This pack needs a special venue. I think Sims 3 had it's own arcade venue type, so maybe that that - with extra bits and pieces

yessss or llama and freezer bunny would be amazing too since those are what the sims love the most

The only way arcade or casino-type things would interest me would be if they were interactive. Like time pauses and we get a pop up slot machine screen or we can play Llama Kong and use our keyboards and mouse to actually PLAY. Otherwise, I'm just sitting there staring at the Sims mashing buttons lol.
