What other venues could potentially fit the "Stuff Pack" model?

I would like to see a pack with new tattoos. I really wanted to have more options (floral ones, gothic ones, tattoos about aspirations, traits and hobbies -a knife set for a chef for example, or a fish for a fishing enthusiast- , matching tattoos for friends/lovers, more placement options) and swatches.
Sims 4 is my favorite with its awesome graphics and art style but we really need more stuff to make our sims differentiate from others and give them unique personalities.

As for your second snippet, no, because I think the Vampires and the GP model are appropriately priced. It's like offering the customer a chance to buy the supernatural life stages Bowling of Sims 3 WITHOUT paying for[ Moonlight Falls, [b City Living ]talking toliets[/b] the new venues, festivals, etc etc, but the price is cut in more than half off to match the missing content. The trade seems fair.

Took the liberty of doing a little editing for ya... B)

I support such a model for specific scenarios such as Vampires and laundry since those are controversial and not everyone enjoys those.

However, Bowling is not such a hot-button topic. Everyone is fine with bowling. What's more, I'd love to know who these mysterious customers are that apparently readily buy every stuff pack but do not have the desire or the funds to buy expansions. Expansions are supposed to be the main attractions that people eagerly await and pay up for, so taking content AWAY from an expansion to move it to a Stuff pack does not seem to be in the customer's interest, but rather in EA's.

^You know this was weak sauce right? (I have a feeling you know)
Relax. The world won't spin off it's axis if EA managed to find a clever way to squeeze an extra dime out of us.
Pick your battles hombre. This one's not worth it.

There's so much they could do in stuff packs to bring us new venues and more ways to play.

Get Inked aka Tattoos & Piercings. Venue- Tattoo Parlor which could also tie into a Beauty Salon. New active career- Tattoo Artist. Give NPC sims new tattoos and body/facial piercings. We could get a huge assortment of new body tattoos along with new facial piercing types. New interactive game-play object- Styling Chair. New decor objects could have tattoo displays and facial jewelery cases, along with some retro, chic, and industrial furnishings.

MakeOver- ability to style sims and give them whole new makeovers. New active career- Stylist. Premium gameplay objects- Style Station, Spray Tan Booth, and Tanning Bed. Style Station opens up CAS option for our sims. Spray Tan Booth/Tanning Bed could give our sims the perfect summer bronze, or a burnt-orange glow. And of course, the new venue type- Beauty Salon that could also be joined with the Tattoo Parlor for the ultimate makeover.

Fashion Forward- the ability to create/design and manage/own a fashion empire. New active career- Fashionista. Premium gameplay objects- Sewing Station and Pop Up Catwalk. Our sims could design their own fashion and create collections to showcase on the catwalk and fashion magazine. The ability to hire NPC models for catwalks and fashion shoots. New venue type- Fashion Show/Pop-Up Catwalk.

Making Music- new venue type(s)- Concert Hall & Pop-Up Stage. New active careers- Rock Star and Composure. New musical instruments for rock band and orchestra. Become a rock star by forming a band, performing gigs at local bars, and hitting the stage in a Battle of the Bands concert event; win the contest and go on tour with your band performing all around the world. Perform in an orchestra in the concert hall and promote to Composure and write your own music and direct a concert symphony reaping the awards that come along with it.

I'd want to say a Casino - but a gamepack would be even better if it featured a bunch of aracade style stuff too that our games have come accustomed to.

I think having schools be an actual venue would be amazing, and I'm not talking about just universities! You could decide whether or not to go with your sims to school (children, and teenagers of course). There, you could choose who your children/teenager sims talk to, whether they focus in class or fool around, and who they sit with at lunch. Also you could sign them up for after school activities, and choose what they do at those! In all of the sims games, you could never go to school with your children sims, or teenager sims. It was either a rabbit hole, or your children would just leave for school. I think this would be so different from all of the other Sims EP's released prior, and could even be released as a GP if done correctly. It could be so much fun! Am I going to go to work with this sim, or go to school with this sim?

I'm just dying to see an arcade, I can definitely see an arcade stuff pack, a claw machine, ski ball, and also a pinball machine could be the new gameplay objects.

I saw a few mentions of an ice skating rink and I love this idea so much. They could also have roller skating and the decor can be different colours so you can have a cold, icy blue venue for your ice skating or a warm brown, red and orange roller skating venue... I am also dying for 80s style CAS and items and skating rinks remind me of 70s/80s style, so I would really want them to mix these altogether :)

"Band Stuff" is another pack I'd like to see, with bars and nightclubs being repurposed as concert venues for local bands. Throw in a drum kit as the new gameplay object, a bass guitar as a reskinned guitar, and "Play in Band" as a new Club activity that lets the various objects (and microphone, if you have City Living) play in sync with one another, and I think we've got ourselves a decent Stuff Pack.
    Yassssssssss.

A couple of more pack ideas they could include interesting venues or ability to create venues for that purpose:

Family Game Night venue- Arcade; a venue that so many of us have requested for the past year. Premium GP Objects- Claw Machine, Ball Toss, Pinball Machine, Dance Revolution, and coin-operated Fortune Teller. The arcade could be the perfect Teen Hangout spot where more teen sims gather at the arcade, but it's also a great place to take the entire family out too. Sims could have their fortune read by the coin-operated Fortune Teller- if a sim has a promising fortune than they can reap those rewards- long life, committed soulmate, successful children, good grades, promotion, and what-not. Bad fortunes could come in the form of divorce, rebellious children, sudden death, hail storm, broken appliances, etc... Of course, our sim had the option to believe it or not, but that didn't guarantee they were safe. With the arcade we could include the current hobbies/activities already in the game, as well as the new bowling lanes. And can't forget... our sims could win prizes by trading in their ticket earnings for a stuffed animal, a plastic watch, an inflatable plumbob, or a cheesy poster.

Fast Lane venue- Go-Kart Track. Now this pack honestly could be a stuff pack or a game pack but we know we can't have vehicles in the game, unless they created a world just for driving/racing vehicles. So with this concept I thought long and hard and came up with something never done before in The Sims. And with a go-kart track venue we could also build an arcade on this lot to provide even more fun for families and friends to enjoy. New career- mechanic/racer. We could build the ultimate go-kart with special upgrades to help sims win the race or cheat their way through the race. And our sim could also become the ultimate go kart racer that can compete up to "world cup" where sims from all existing sim worlds come together to compete for the ultimate cup trophy and go down in go-kart history. Also, just to add some extra appeal to the pack... soap box derbies were also included for child sims to participate in. We had the ability to customize the track, add obstacles, customize our go karts, and add logos, etc. to our custom go-karts. A new free world was added in a patch that added a "hill" for soap box derby competitions for our child sims to race at. Of course, those who didn't purchase the pack could still enjoy the free world.

Midnight Movies venue- Cinema. The ability to include an arcade in the movie theater so our sims could enjoy games until the movie starts. Now I know a cinema kind of doesn't sound much fun, since we already have Movie Hangout stuff pack, but we could have some special features with the cinema. We could have the option to have a "Motion" theater where sims experienced a simulation experience during the picture. Another option was 3D where sims wore 3D glasses and watched movies "punched" full of action or horror. And the last option- Silent Film for elder sims who enjoy the past times in black and white. Premium GP Objects- Motion Seat for simulation picture, 3D glasses; classic movie projector; Cinema Screen that had special features/upgrades like holographic imagery, confetti and water cannons, etc. to add a bit extra to sims who watch a movie in a simulation chair or 3D experience. And just something extra- with the Cinema Movie Screen we could also have an outdoor variant so we could create a "Drive-in" type pop-up event where sims gathered in the park for an outdoor movie.

Action Packed- yeah, a corny name, but the venue- Action Park. Premium GP Objects- Rock Climbing Wall, Sky Dive Machine, Surf/Big Wave Machine, and Bungee Jump. Our adventurous and fitness/sports enthusiasts could go to the Action Park where they could climb a 4-story rock wall. A sim wants the experience of sky diving they can try out the sky dive machine to simulate the experience. A sim wants to surf the waves can hop on the surf board and surf massive waves in the surf/wave machine. Or take the daring leap of faith on the Bungee Jump Tower.

I would love a stuff pack that would focus on arcade machines with a casino venue. As I can tell, there's currently only one arcade machine and that is reeaallyy big. In the pack could be many arcade machines, like the ones from TS3, but also pinball and gambling, where sims could lose all their money, but could also become rich in a single night :D

Was that a deliberate move? Maybe they included that monstrosity knowing that they were going to add smaller machines later.
I would love an arcade. Pinball, old fashioned video games, that great photo booth (that they could woo-hoo in!), maybe air hockey too. It'll probably be a while, since we just got Bowling.
When they make it, I hope they do 60s-70s-80s fashion and decor. Didn't they say they were done with mid-century design for a while?

I want an old people pack. I'm serious. I want rocking chairs and canes for the elderly, retirement homes they can go to near the very end of their life, knitting, baking, and reading clubs for the g-mas and fishing from lounge chairs and gambling for the g-pas

I'd also like some elder-specific objects. Once my Sims age up into elders, I pretty much lose interest in them unless I need their skills for challenge points. :D
Knitting or sewing would be great, and perhaps some kind of country club venue with a golf/tennis skill. Since these are stuff pack ideas, I think we can only hope for 3 new gameplay objects at the most, depending on how animation-intensive the objects are.

Ice skating rink would be good, but hopefully they'll add that to a seasons pack. I'd like a hockey jersey to go with it

I'm guessing playground equipment would be too big for a stuff pack because they'd need to add too many animations. But there are definitely hobbies or activities I could see fitting in a stuff pack- bingo, putt-putt golf, ballet barre (could easily be added to a gym to make a dance studio with a dance class similar to the yoga classes in spa day), stuff for a waterpark, rock climbing wall, etc.

    1. Cinema. With a ticket machine, and a big screen with its exclusive channels.
    2. Town Hall.
    3. Barber Shop; Hair Saloon

Actually, I personal would want those in a gamepack, soooooo nevermind! More fleshed out than anytinhg I expect to get.

My (adult size) teens and elders don't have many things to do... maybe some stuff for them?

I would love a shopping mall or pedestrian mall venue pack that have specialty boutiques and souvenir shops similar to what we had in Hot Date, complete with all the funny NPCs cashiers and salespeople.

Thinking about venues that might be defined by a few items that could reasonably fit in the stuff pack model, I am thinking of the following:

playgrounds - they could consist of a slide, sandbox and swings, together with the gym jungle we already have; placed in a park these items could attract more children and even toddlers with their parents.

casinos - some slot machines, blackjack tables, etc. could make a casino when placed on a bar, lounge or nightclub lot.

laundromats - a washing machine on a lot might trigger Sims doing their laundry (could be an idea for the eco living pack).

graveyards - a mausoleum, when placed in a park, could give us the option to send gravestones and urns to the lot, thus creating a graveyard.

farmers' markets - this should add a market stand that works like the selling table of City Living; we should be able to place all kinds of objects on this stand (like candles, pottery, plants, collectibles), they should add a few special stands, like a harvestable stand and a fish stand. When placed in a park, this park will turn into a farmers' market, attracting customers. We should be able to run our own stand, while the other stands are run by NPCs.

cinemas - although a missed opportunity for Cinema Stuff, we need a cinema screen and popcorn stand (different from the popcorn machine from Cool Kitchen Stuff, because it will be run by an NPC; the stand might function like a bar); when placed on a bar, nightclub or lounge, these could turn the venue into a cinema. This would be the perfect location for a date. The cinema should attract Sims who will watch a movie, sitting in the cinema chairs.

theatres - this should add a stage to the game; when placed on a bar, nightclub or lounge, this wil become a theatre. The stage should give us the option to perform a play with up to four sims (like a group activity), although I think this may be to much to ask from a stuff pack animation wise. Another option would be if we were able to place musical instruments and microphones on the stage. This should add the option to play together. We may then perform a song of even a comedy routine or a (group) dance. The stage should attract audience, that will sit in the theatre chairs in front of the stage, watching the performance.

I would love to see a Farm pack!

Gardening fields could be harvested with a tractor.
Cows for milk, sheep for wool, goats for milk and chickens for eggs.

A special barn for making more expensive items from your collected vegetables, fruits, milk, eggs and wool. ex: butter, mayo, jam, ketchup, pickles, sauces, juice, yarn, dyed yarn....

Children could run a "Fresh Harvest Stand" to sell family harvested/created items.

I'm really hoping they do that right and the only way to do it right would be an EP. I hope the animals are individual and that we can breed them, sell them, ect. Also, so much farm equipment could be added. If they added a world, they could add a flee market where you rent a space and sell items. I love Happy acres on Facebook and I hope they check that out. :)

    I like your ideas.

As far as the Flea Market idea goes, it is already available with the City Living Pack. There is a table you can also set up on a residential lots that lets you have a yard sales.
