DIE GRANDMA DIE!!!

I had a male sim (Tom) who married a townie female (Dianna), and I DO NOT have the Vampire game pack. Anyway, they had a son (Bob). The male sim (Tom) grew old and died, and the son (Bob) is now an elder. He married and had a son (Andy), and now he (Andy) is a young adult. The townie female (Dianna) is his GRANDMOTHER, and she is still a young adult! She won't age! I have locked Dianna in the extra bedroom of Andy's home hoping that she will starve to death. I don't know what is wrong with her! I've never had this happen! Anyone have any ideas? Andy's wife is pregnant and she is tired of grandma always hanging around. And they will need that bedroom soon! DIE GRANDMA DIE!!!

Some Sims never die because the game qualifies them as service workers, street artists etc. This happens to lots of my npc Sims. Perhaps also to your grandmother.

I had to ask myself at first "Why are we killing Gramma? Doesn't sound like a family event I wanna go to." Is she played? If not it could be that reason mentioned before. Starving could work.

I had this same issue and it turned out that the sim did carry a hidden trait and as soon as I removed it the sim began aging. I downloaded a mod that allowed me to see if the trait was attached to the sim. Mod the Sims has one called Show/Search Sim Info Mod. Very useful.

Hello
She may have a hidden trait that stops her from aging and dying.
The Weirdo, CityRepair ,and StatueBusker hidden traits prevent aging and dying.
Try doing this. Play as the sim. Then type into the cheat bar
testingcheats true
Press enter
Then type in
traits.remove_trait isWeirdo
Press enter

See if that helps.
isWeirdo can be replaced in the removal cheat with isCityRepair or isStatueBusker if that is the hidden trait that they have.

Grandma has been locked in the bedroom for two days now, and she won't starve! I tried birthday cakes, and they don't work. I locked her in the bedroom with no food (I checked her inventory), and I played the household for 48 sim-hours. Grandma got to the starvation level on hunger, and then suddenly her hunger bar was all full and green again! She is immortal!

I don't have any mods. I tried to get one a week ago, but I play on a mac and I couldn't get it to work. I may just delete her - she is driving me crazy! Thanks everyone for the great suggestions!

Try removing the hidden trait like I suggested and see if that helps. You don't need to have a mod to do it, just type in the cheats.

Just move her out of the household and let the townies deal with her

And this is why my sim's dad has never aged. I thought it was something I did when I altered him using cas.editmode. Been using MMC to manually age him.

This happened to me, too. She didn't even have any hidden traits that should have prevented her from aging. I eventually had to just go into CAS and delete her. It was like she never existed.

What about the death cheat? I've had to brutally kill off some of my elder Sims who just won't die.

Don't know if this is the same issue or not, but I had an elder who just would not die. He was way older than his wife, but she died and he just kept on living. I finally just moved him out of the house into another house and he died soon after.
