@Blargian Well people can continue to submit even if we get to 14! I haven't officially picked anyone yet I want to give people some time to submit! I'm not going to close submissions once it gets to 14. I have over a week before I start playing! So who knows! Maybe I'll have to narrow a few down...or maybe I'll just make another household... we'll see!

Backstory: Julian was the only child of two workaholic parents. He suspects that they didn't originally want children, but they loved him all the same, even if they were usually gone, at work. He didn't mind, though. He enjoys being alone, where it's nice, peaceful, and quiet. Things seemed to be going pretty well for him for a long time. When he was a teenager, however, depression hit him hard. He tried his best to go on anyway, graduating high school and going to college to pursue the dream he'd had since he was a child: to be a writer. He thought that maybe if he just gave it enough time, it'd go away on its own.
It didn't. Life just went on as it always did. It didn't seem to mean anything. Even writing didn't make him happy. He managed to squeak through college and graduate. He couldn't find a job that he could use his English degree for, so he worked dead end jobs that he knew he'd hate even if his depression wasn't an issue, and went home to just play video games and watch anime all alone. Each day was like the last. Meaningless.
After a couple more years of this, he realized something had to change. He was 25, likely more than a quarter of the way through his life, and he wasn't living, only surviving. He got on meds, and got into therapy. He didn't like therapy, but he knew that it would help him in the long run. It took awhile, but he started feeling a bit better, but there was still something missing.
Julian decided that he needed to do something big, something dramatic, something that had the potential to change his life forever. He doesn't expect to be chosen, but even if he isn't, he's hoping that the experience will be exciting.
Just a little bean whose only aspiration in life is becoming a magical girl.

A recent grad of an all-boys boarding school, he spent all of his breaks traveling instead of having to listen to his divorced parents complain he spends all his time with the other. His mother has been pestering him to attend a university, but he recently launched what he hopes will be the next big thing - an app for meeting new friends for all his fellow socially awkward millennials. His hobbies include playing the piano and bar-tending, and he prefers yoga to keep in shape. He hopes he and Princess Amina like each other, because he's got a secret; this handsome, young bachelor has never been kissed!

5 years. It took 5 years for him to convince his parents that law school wasn't in his future. His father owned a well-established law firm, and his father's father before that was an appointed Supreme Court Justice. Even his sister is a paralegal for their father's law firm. But that life wasn't for him. Pushing papers, catering to clients who expected to be waited on hand and foot... where's the freedom in that?
He's got looks, people-skills, but a mighty hot temper. After being suspended from 2 universities for criticizing the curriculum and picking arguments with professors, he decides maybe these posh universities just aren't for him. So he signs up for a sports management course online and joins a minor league soccer club. He works his butt off to get the degree while he trains with the club, and then he finally makes first-string for one of the best soccer seasons he could ever hope for.
It's off season for soccer now though, and Eduardo realizes that aside from his training buddies, he doesn't really have anyone in his life. His family doesn't really get him, and he hasn't dated since high school. Every morning he'll train, maybe interview with potential sponsors if he's lucky... he eats, then he goes to sleep. Rinse and repeat.
Maybe it's time for him to get his head in the game and find a lovely lady to spend his time with.

Shamus Lamonia has grown up in a royal family. He has two younger sisters, the twins Adela and Elaine, and an older brother called Percy. As his brother is the first born of the family all the family's fortune will go to him when their parents pass. But Shamus doesn't mind because he never was into his family's heritage at all.
He was a high achiever as a child. That's why his parents one day decided to let him have private lessons instead of sending him to the royal school like his siblings. His teacher was a professor in chemistry and his greatest idol ever. Shamus looked up to Professor Dr. Garder because he was allowed to help him with his experiments.
Unfortunately, one day a contentious experiment went wrong and an accident happened that costed his mentor's life. But also Shamus' life was harmed. His skin turned into a greyish white just like his hair - the few he didn't lose - and his eyes turned into a flamming red. It was then that his parents ran from one specialist to another to "heal" Shamus as it was a shame for his family and whole ancestors.
However, Shamus liked his new look as it showed how special he has been from the day he was born. He has never had many friends or any at all. His siblings didn't like him and after the accindent they even didn't trust him anymore. They called him "monster" whenever their ways crossed.
Shamus' biggest aim is to become a scientist like his mentor was. But at some times he felt lonely. It was hard to see his siblings getting married and now both of his sisters are pregnant. At this point, Shamus decided to look for a spouse himself.

Gosh, you all have such clever costumes. I'm envious. I wanted Adriel's costume to be a black cat, but obviously that wasn't happening. I went with a boring old alien.
ETA: I wanted to clarify that when I said "fellow socially awkward millennials", I meant Adriel is a millennial. Obviously he can't have the trait of self-assured of he is socially awkward.
