Sims not showing up in origin on multiple occasions «12...Next Go

I backed up my Sims files to a memory stick then I clicked on origin it said I could download cas demo and I clicked on my games and one of them said origin I clicked on that and it said the Sims 4 a few hours played when I know for a fact beforehand it had said 2125 hours. Also i am friends on origin with someone who plays the sims and it normally shows up but it said that none of my friends had the game. And it didn't seem to want to load from origin either. I checked my files and they were still the same. I finally after trying to dig around on origin had to open my game via the button on my taskbar. I am too scared to repair or do anything to my game now as I fear I will lose everything. Please help.

Perhaps you are not logged in to the same account as before?

When you log into Origin, are you able to click on a picture of Sims 4 in games library or is it not there?

I am sort of. It comes up with the picture as origin logo but I can still click on it. @rosemow
I am on the same account as before.

Could you please take a screenshot of the origin logo and post if here? It may help so that we can see what the,logo looks like and where it is located.

I just reinstalled it and it seems fine now. I was a bit unsure to do it but I tried it and it seems to have worked. Thanks @rosemow !

That same thing happened to me the other week, I could still click on the Origin logo and play the game, the next day it came back as it should, as in the Sims 4 cover, and a couple of days later it came up as the Origin logo again, and since then it's been as it should be.
I didn't do anything - only because I could still click on it to play.
It happened to me after the last Origin update. Only on that computer, but not my other one. Strange!

It is helpful to read your feedback on the issue. I am sorry that you had this occur but glad that it has fixed itself up.

I didn't mention it at the time but yesterday I left origin open the whole time I was playing Sims 4, closed the game and it went strange again. Opened origin earlier today and it was perfectly fine even after playing Sims for a good few hours.

I am still able to play Sims fine it's just nice to see how long I have played the game for and chat to my friend without having to go on other things to do so. I am hoping that there will be a origin update that resolves these issues soon because it is becoming increasingly irritating.

The solution in this AHQ EA thread may help with your tracking hours issue, Try keeping on the setting to show Origin after gameplay.

It happened AGAIN today when I opened origin. I played Sims, still not fixed, said an origin update was available so I did that and that seemed to fix it. Perhaps the issue got fixed in a update.
