NEW UPDATE NO NEW GAME??? (IN LOADING MENU)

what I noticed with my new update is that when i pressed new game it didn't allow me to start a fresh with all my characters and worlds refreshed. But allowed me to create a new character on top of the game I've have already been playing. this is partly due to its new loading screen whereas before you could differentiate between characterizing a new household and upload a new game ( e.g if you edited on the goth household in your previous game-play change their house and the families styles, looks etc it would refresh in a new game going back to their original looks and world. You can no longer do this with this new update) .
I don't even see the plus sign so I can start a new game.

I wonder if anybody else is having these problems, or knows a solution to my issue.

Does your main screen look like this picture? Do you have the load button, new game button and play button?

If you don't have the new game and load buttons, try doing what is suggested in this thread

If you do have the new game button but it isn't starting a new game, the autosave file may be causing issues. Go to your save folder in Documents -Electronic Arts-Sims 4 folder and move the slot_00000001.save to your desktop. That is the autosave file. Then launch the game, press the new game button and see if the issue remains.
If the issues remain, move your saves folder to the desktop, than launch the game. A new saves folder will have been created. Try starting a new game. If the new game is able to be created with the fresh original houses, then exit the game and add back your save files one by one and test after each if the issues is not there or is occurring.

My problem is that that new game button take you straight to CAS to create your household then your new household starts in a world that you have already edited on and is not a refreshed world starting from the original begining like the previous version allowed you to add a new game world refreshed starting from the original beginning

I had added some more suggestions to the second post.I will post them again here

The problem with with is that I cant load my old games when I want to I cant get back to them even when I add them back.

Are the save games not there when you press the load game button ?

If the issues remain, try rolling back your save game files to an earlier version. These links explain how to do that.

If it takes you directly to CAS to create the new household, just click on the gallery and pick the saved sim from there, and choose replace.
maybe I am misunderstanding?
