Re-booting my space for my builds. My old topic had all the pictures hosted in PhotoBucket and they are all gone now... :'( I don't know what happened- the service still says that I'm using 55% of my storage space but every picture says deleted- and PhotoBucket says it can't find the URL associated with the picture. I don't know if Photobucket have switched around storage servers leaving my links broken or if my account was hacked and someone took the time to replace all 400 pictures with the same shot of "Picture Deleted by User" thereby losing my shots but still taking up the room in my account or what AND I'm done trying to fix it. So, I am restarting here, using IMGUR now and if at some point Photobucket resolves I may move the old builds over here and shut down the old thread. Or something... Anyway-

This build was done for the Sims Forum Quality Control Rooms Challene #51. I wanted to do something glamorous and a little Deco. I constructed this apartment in mind for a Vampire Hunter who owns a department store in the Fashion District. The dining room is set up for two but you can move the statue in the Entry Hall to the floor and add that table, with the additional red chairs in the apartment, to the existing table and create space for six. The space is set up for entertaining with a wide open Entry Hall and plenty of seating around the apartment. As well as the compartmentalized master bath that allows it to double as a second guest bath.

This is a speed build/ video walk through of the apartment on my Youtube Channel: https://youtu.be/fSVTILeOsmQ

There are also additional still shots in an album here on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/MyWorldofSims/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1180001008781988

    Hello
I am sorry that your pictures were deleted from photobucket :( That is not good! I hope that they may eventually appear for you. I hope that you find that imgur works more smoothly .
I will repost here what I wrote in the room challenge thread about your apartment.
18 Culpepper -Darkfall looks great! :) Very nice furnishing of each of the areas of the apartment! The sitting area looks very nice with the rows of stools and the pretty pink flowers on the tables with each of the stools. The statues look nice placed either sides of the door. The private tv watching nook is very nice! Sims will enjoy sitting together on the sofa or in the armchairs watching tv or chatting. Very nice dining nook! The red colour of the seating, the red flowers on the table and side ledge and red candles look so very pretty and romantic! The type of seating used looks very nice and the floor patterning looks great! . It is great that you have designed the home office to be in the kitchen. Sims will enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer or reading a book, with sunshine coming in onto them through the windows. The heart teddy is cute on the desk! The kitchen nook is very nice. The cabinets look great how they are placed there and the spiceset and wall cutlery are great kitchen touches, Very nice bed area! It looks great how the map is used as a headboard for the bed. The blossoms are pretty on the bedside tables, and the red rose is a nice touch. The circular floor rug is a nice touch under the bed.
It is a very nice apartment for the sims to enjoy living in :)

@rosemow Thank-you! I hope as well that they eventually return but they were all Sims related, so luckily I didn't lose anything like family photos and such.

This is the first in a series of builds I'm calling "Building Hollow" #BuildingHollow. As is typical with myself I tend to replace every pre-made lot with one of my own. In the case of Hollow I'm transforming it into a village in the vein of Colonial America. At the end there will be a large Manor House, Carpenter's House and workshpe. Apothecary, Tavern/Inn and this place- the MiniVlad Manor.

I am building these in conjunction with a series of articles on the Sims Community website. My first article using this build as an example can be found here: http://simscommunity.info/2017/02/15/the-sims-4-my-rule-of-three-for-mini-builds/

The Gallery Link is here: https://www.thesims.com/en_GB/gallery/2FBB1125EF1111E6807F390F294AFFB1?category=all&searchtype=ea_origin_id&sortby=newest&time=all&searchquery=tonysterling&max=50&maxis=false

You can see the short speed build for this structure here on Youtube: https://youtu.be/gBhqEbigNEg

There are numerous additional pictures here on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/MyWorldofSims/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1181624098619679

I originally did this build via the Mini/Micro builds topic here on the forums: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/839020/new-mini-micro-builds-theme-18-the-three-piggs-pg-48-have-fun/p1

I've pulled my entry from there and set it below.

The pictures below are narrated by the new home owner.

WOW! Just look at this place and the price- fantastic, in Newcrest too! I can't believe no one else bid in the auction. I mean it's a little overgrown and I'm not sure what's wrong with the pool- maybe that's that red bloom thing that algae does... the graveyard's a little strange as well but you know, families used to do that back before public graveyards and stuff just bury them in the backyard... I think, I guess. Anyway, it doesn't matter- it was a friggin steal!

    TFw4BKK.png

Isn't the kitchen cute- cute- cute? The knives came with the place and our son's bedroom is down here too- no windows and he claims he hear screams in the night but it's just the place settling you know, old places do that and creak and stuff. So much charm in here! Exposed stone, love it!

    7rg1rk6.png

AND IT IS FURNISHED! Yeah, for real- they had an estate sale and like no one showed up. Dig this piano- it's old! I want to take it on that Antiques show thing where they tell you how much you can retire on it and stuff. It might be broke though cause it just kinda moans but that's part of that patina thing.

    DZgk8H7.png

Our room is pretty sweet. The only thing is it's not ensuite. There's just one bath and it's a floor down. The wardrobe is still full of clothes. None of us can read the book in the corner. I think it's in Spanish but my son said it's in Satanish and he also said the whole room smells like dead people and won't come back up but you know kids. He had to change schools and make new friends and he having a tantrum. He'll get used to the place! It's great here in Newcrest.

    MTFscXI.png

See, here's the pool. He's gonna love that, maybe he'll get on the swim team with some practice. The water's sorta thick and sticky right now but you know that algae thing I mentioned above. Just needs some chlorine and I gotta get one of those nets. I'm sure that will help get some of the thickness out. And see there's that little cemetery too! I'm gonna sell the headstones on Ebay if anyone's wants one. I'll just leave the bodies and maybe put a grill with a boom box over that area. Maybe I'll wake the dead- lol! My son says that's not funny.

The Mini Manor looks great! :) Very nice exterior design of the home! The tower and the bow window looks great! It doesn't though sound like a very nice place to live in! I don't think that sims should swim in the red pool! The knives on the wall in the kitchen are scary! It sounds like the pipe organ may need tuning! I don't think that my sims will live in your home!
It is very creatively designed :)

When you're going small why stop at a Mini-Manor? Here at Sterling Construction we understand that you have enough money to live in a sprawling modern estate but you'd rather spend the same on the lush, luxury of a Vampiric Micro-Manor perfect for living in isolated splendor on the ruins of an ancient, inquisition church or the long disused plaza for burning witches or perhaps even an Indian Burial Grounds. Whatever your choice we have the wheels to get it to you! See below the way you could be living!

I'm posting some shots here but there are many more in the album on my Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/MyWorldofSims/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1183719015076854

The build is slightly bigger then I would normally build a Tiny-House but I wanted the room for the organ and the coffin. The great thing about the coffin is now two sims can Woo-Hoo in a twin "bed". LOVE IT! Great for small spaces! I've done the surrounding landscaping in the vein of either a forgotten cemetery or Victorian park/garden. I did put "wheels" on the house and you can see them in some of the shots on Facebook. in order to get them to appear correctly positioned on the foundation I had to bring them up from a false basement and when doing that they don't show when the view is from above the first floor.

MicroVlad Manor is a very nice home ! :) The exterior of the home looks very nice! The outdoors areas look great! It looks great how there are fenced areas with overgrown plants and black barren trees in it. The water fountain feature is very nice. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the room. The layout of the home looks great! You have made great use of the available space in the home! Very nice coffin room! The red curtains on the walls there look very royal! Very nice design of the kitchen and dining area. Nice windows dining are for sims to enjoy eating meals with sunlight coming in through the windows. The purple colour of the dining seating looks nice. It is great that there is a pipe organ in the home. Sims will enjoy playjng or listeming to the music being played. The picture of Vlad is a nice touch on the pipe organ nook wall and purple coloured floor rug looks nice.
This home is very nice :)

Forgotten Hollow Tavern and Inn done in an anachronistic Colonial American style. There are six bedrooms and two baths in the main structure with a large Tavern and kitchen on one side and a smaller "Owner's Family" area on the other with an office, living room and dining room on the other. Attached to the property is a church with a small parsonage on the back containing another bedroom/bath/kitchen and living area. There is also a custom pond that can be used for swimming, an apple orchid and a clearing where the owner's son (whose a raging alcoholic) paints and occasionally cuts off his ear. The Tavern side of the house was built onto the original house after the fact (the kitchen was added even later within the "Sims Timeline") followed by the Church.

Fogotten Hollow Tavern and Inn looks very great! :) It is a very detailed build with a variety of areas! It is great that there is a tavern and inn in the main building, and a separate Church with living facilities. Sims will enjoy both fishing and swimming in the pond. It is nice that there is an orchard nook for sims to enjoy harvesting apples. Very nice exterior of the buildings! They look great! The stone exterior wall texture of the main building looks very nice! The Church reflects a real life Chapel very well! Very nice Tavern area of the build! The tables and chairs look nice how they are set up there for sims to enjoy dining at, and the texture of them suits well the build theme. Sims will have fun playing the llama table top game and chess there. The design of the fireplace areas in the build look so very creatively great! It is great that there are 6 bedrooms in the inn. The furnishing of each of the bedrooms looks very nice. It looks very nice how the pews have been set up in the Church, and that the podium at the front.
It is a very nice build :)

The Apothecary House in Forgotten Hollow. I start most of my builds with some sort of back story floating in my head. In this case, it's the story of an Apothecary who has hurriedly left Windenberg to move to Hollow to restart his practice. They don't have a great deal of money and they've spent most of it buying a small brick house, enlarging it and creating the gardens to support their business. I believe pretty much every harvestable is represented in the gardens and trees planted in this build. I went by the list in Carl's Guide.

The exterior design of the Apothecary House looks very nice! :) The design of the front entrance area looks very creative! The roofing there looks very nice! It looks great the way the entrance is angled. The plants and flowers look very nice how they are placed along the front edges of the entrance area and around the base of the trees in the back areas of the build. The harvestable gardening area looks so very great! Sims will enjoy growing plants in the gardening boxes there and harvesting fruit from the trees. The design of the garden looks very nice! Very nice furnishing of the interior of the home! The wooden texture of the furnishings in,the rooms gives a homely touch to the home. The kitchen and dining area looks very nice. The kitchen cabinets look great how they have been placed on the walls, and the texture complements with the rest of the furnishings. The flower is a pretty touch on the dining table. The teapots wall shelf, cookbooks, bottles and menu board are nice kitchen touches. Very nice bedrooms. It looks great how the beds have been placed in the kids room, and the candles placed on the table in the corner nook. Kids will enjoy doing artwork on the activity table or enjoy playing the violin. The corner display shelves item is a nice touch in the master bedroom.
The home is very nice :)

This is my entry for @SimGuruKimmi Seafood Restaurant twitter challenge. The challenge called for starting with her base shell and then developing it from there. I based my design on the Lighthouse of Alexandria. With a play on words I created a SeeFood Restaurant- Swim to the Moon- where watching the chefs prepare your meal is part of the entertainment. Part of the challenge was to include a dance floor so I built a lounge upstairs- The Nu Disco- Nu being the primordial, watery abyss from which all life sprang in Egyptian myth. It opens at 11pm when the restaurant downstairs closes. There was also a request for a "water garden" which I built outside but partially enclosed- The Sunken Gardens of Eden- you can see the art piece "Planting the Tree of Knowledge" highlighted there. There's a large exterior space special events space on the second floor off the nightclub area. The lot was a large one and on Windenberg's waterfront area so I built a public promenade with benches and art. Steam grates create the bubble effect in the aquariums/ the effect of steam rising to the apex of the restaurant from the cooking stations and the fog effect on the dance floor in Nu.

ENTRY DETAILS: This beautiful structure was commissioned by a family looking for the comfort and traditions of the past but outfit with the modern amenities of today. We have tried to blend these desires into a family home for a large growing family with an eclectic mix of furnishings and mementos. A wealth of activities are available to keep the busy minds and busy hands of six young children and two young at heart adults from ever growing bored. From games of chess to games of Don't Wake the Llama. art, fishing, gardening, music and a host of other pursuits this home is perfect for this family.

Downstairs is a call to a more formal, gracious era with a dining room, living and a small parlor for welcoming guests set apart from one another in privacy. There's an enclosed gardening porch off the living room that leads outside to covered beds for planting. The kitchen is well outfitted with a space designed to act as a mud room and a butler's pantry leading to the dining room for storing all the china that somehow accumulates over the years.

We consulted each of the children in the decor of their rooms and found the three year old twins just precious. They declined the use of curtains with one saying "Let the world see!" and the other following with "Yeah let the world see the faces of it's doom!" Then they hissed menacingly and went back to playing with skulls- ADORBS! The other children were more quiet, an artist, a scientist, a musician and a little lady dreaming of the heights she hopes to one day reach.

Mom and Dad have a private retreat with plenty of storage, a small artist studio and a bath of their own! Done in dark soothing tones that speak to the calming hours of the night that can be spent in quiet reflection upstairs or gathered together in the living room reading, watching tv or using the computer.

Outside is fully landscaped with mature plantings.

FLASH BACK FRIDAY! As I stated above my old thread was killed when my Photobucket died taking all my sims photos with it. So I restarted my builds here in this post with just new stuff so far. UNTIL NOW! I'm going to re-introduce old builds here with the pictures hosted on a new site and see how it goes. This was done for the Quality Control Monthly Challenge here on the Forums AND IT WON! The original post is below- It's my own personal Gulag- Enjoy!

    Gallery Link: https://www.thesims.com/en_GB/gallery/66E3A9362F0D11E68C06A1CACF1B1351?category=lots&searchtype=ea_origin_id&sortby=newest&time=all&searchquery=tonysterling&max=50&maxis=false

Here's my police state station and re-education center to use as a replacement in GTW or for story telling without GTW. It could also be used as a home for an odd little sim. It's a little tongue in cheek and I've played through it with my policeman sim and solved several cases and grilled a couple of suspects and everything seems to be working well. The skeleton of Colton147147 is NOT included in the build- it's just a joke in the picture and leaving it in the small cell caused problems getting to the sink. I hope you enjoy it! Svetlana Petrolnova is a sim I recreated in Sims 4 from Sims 3 and one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy her too!

So many lovely things for "guests" to do. See is like fancy restaurant with flowers and picture of Good President (is so handsome!) and see books to read during meal. Are all same Good President’s books "It’s Great to be Great while becoming Greater on Path to Greaterness Vol. 1 and 2". Is self help book for mentaled criminal.

Yard for the mental exercise! Pool for the body exercise! Simberia get 13 full days of sunlight per year! Is so much time to enjoy! And not the aggressive muscle exercises that give criminal idea of being stronger than Good President but exercise to fix brain.

And, here is screen where Good President give his wisdom and you can see all over re-sort is poster designed by Good President for the help of all. I have signed copy in lovely frame at home. Look is Statue of Good President (is so handsome!) pointing to path of enlighteningment!

    OixgRCf.jpg

    7IZDCYk.jpg

But Svetlana you say is so nice but where is help? Is here!

First we start we identity by vigilility even at front desk as is known that criminal often is re-lating to other criminal who come to make the visit. Maybe your brother? Maybe your mother?

Then we scoop through city for clues to mentaled criminal and is easy with camera at every corner, stall, cupboard, booth, park, store, office, closet, baby bassinet and so on for the entire security!

Most advancement of medical helping to fix the brain of the mentaled criminal is here too! When compassion and science make the married nothing can stop us. Is hint from me to you that if you say you take testing of the new medical medicines first maybe you get well faster (wink, wink) and get out faster. This secret you can share with other “guests”.

    LII6RzP.jpg

And you can see as even idiought can that system is compassion like with baby. Almost make you want to be crime. BUT NO, I kid! Is best system by Good President for the help of society!

A traditional style done for the current day. This is a four bedroom/ three bath home. The colors are kept soft and muted but not necessarily light- such as using darker flannel grays and cream sickle orange to promote a restful environment. Toward this end clutter and distraction on the walls has also been restrained. As is typical with this style most of the home is on the first floor where the living/dining/ fully equipped kitchen/ casual dining/ three guest bedrooms and two baths are located. There's a central hall, also a hallmark of traditional colonial style, running from front to back that provides ample room for parties dining. The three first floor bedrooms are destined for future children and perhaps a nanny or butler. As such their decor is kept low in anticipation of their future use and the two bedrooms on the right side of the structure looking from the front are connected by a "Jack and Jill" bath. The second floor is tucked into the space under the roof and built into a modern addition on the back. There's a small artist nook/ work out area/ "home office" and a luxurious master bath. An upstairs balcony provides an area for meditation. The exterior is fully landscaped with a pool and outdoor entertaining space. There's also a large yard to next to the pool/entertaining space for future children's activities.
