I'm already at uni and I kind of took a gap year (working) because I didn't know what to do with my life ^^ As long as you don't stay at home and "chill your life" it is a great thing to do a gap year. Maybe you can go abroad (work and travel) or something like this. I kind of regret it that I didn't go abroad as an aupair ^^

Yes, that seems like too many good things for something as simple as eating. Cow brains and snakes are food in some places (I have eaten lamb head before, a popular greek dish for feasts, which includes eyes, tongue, and brain). And as long as the tarantula is dead and maybe cooked if possible, I don't care that it was a spider.

Edit: I don't know what pd meant, but as long as the poison of the snake is removed, I think it is fine.
