Happy 17th Anniversary!

In addition to the celebration of 17 years of Sims. I figured why not take a nostalgia look back to the previous Sims games

I remember I was always having to give Bob and Betty single beds, because I could never get those two to sleep in the same bed, couldn't ever get their relationship up.

(You know if toddlers hadn't already arrived I would have been the first to make a shady comment about them  )

GAh. I miss the start up menu, the viciously long loading screens where little me would roll around infront of the computer. The excitement of a new expansion, the joy of a new pet, the fun of a new festival, the sadness in an unsuccessful date. I miss the wishes and the likes. I just miss everything so much.

    I remember Clair the bear.

I also remember the Gradfather clock in the base game. There was also the piano and Sims could build thier creativity skill. If they had a low skill other Sims would boo at them playing the piano.

I once had a kid play 'Twinkle twinkle little star' and adults started booing at them :open_mouth:

    Aahhh! So much nostalgia!

Just hearing the TS1 theme fills me with so much nostalgia and brings fond memories. even though I started playing The Sims games during the TS2 era, I mistakenly bought TS1, not realising that the game I had previously played at my friend's house was the sequel! But TS1 still pulled me in, and I'm still such a huge fan of the series! I've played all 4 iterations, and I love them all!

My favourite memories from each of the games include:

    Mysterious phone calls from TS1:

(Also seeing Comic Sans in TS1 still makes me giggle! )

Sneaking out as a teen in TS2:

Toddlers in TS2! They were so cute and I fell in love with them instantly. :relaxed:

OPEN WORLD IN TS3! AWESOME!

(Sunset Valley fills me with a lot of nostalgia too  so many years of playing families in that world!)

This house in Sunset Valley was the house I moved my very first sims into in TS3, and it is one of my favourite houses in TS3

I have so many happy memories of the Sims games, I'm so happy that I found this game and this community.

(All of these pictures are taken straight from Google, they are not mine)

Edit: I unintentionally used a plum word apparently.
I'm a CC Creator and family player that is super hyped that toddlers are back!

@fullspiral That hole behind the house. Didn't that lead to the magic town?

Who else remembers TS1's roller coasters? Literally one of my first memories in life is of me and my sister playing Makin' Magic with roller coasters and, well, magic! xD
