Eden"s Eternal Garden is such a very nice build! @Soulstarsim The layout and design of the build looks so very nice! It is a very detailed build and each area looks so very nice! It looks great how each area has a special part in the bulld, and you have written descriptive labels for them. The chicken coop is cute! Nice harvestable plants nooks, for sims to enjoy harvesting the plants when visiting the venue. It looks very nice how the floral hedging is used in the build. It is great there is an observatory there for sims to use. The plants look very nice how they have been placed through the areas of the build. The area with the statues and water fountain looks very nice! Children will have fun playing on the monkey bars. The cherrry blossom tree looks very pretty in the middle of the Gardens.
It is a very restful and calming venue for Sims to enjoy visiting!
New challenge is up! I'm personally excited about this one and will do one myself! Of course, I'm not going to enter haha but I plan on sharing my build with everyone to see because I love this one! I hope you all have some crazy ideas from this! And I gave a wee bit of extra time in case it turns out to be a big one!
All such great challenges! Oh, hi there too btw
I'll be honest, I've been lurking here now and then and I'm loving both the challenges and the entries I see here and this new challenge intrigues me very much. Given the time, I might try to squeeze an entry in. That said, before even making a start on finding inspiration, I have some small questions about the challenge.
When building the Agartha inspired lot, are there restrictions to building in the basement floors or can I imagine the sim world itself being Inner/Hollow Earth? Are there other restrictions when it comes to funds or lot size?

Hi @Twiggy
No I don't think it HAS to be in the basement floors... I think however you interpret that, as long as I'm seeing "a city under ground" I think that's fine! And no restrictions on anything. It's whatevs you like as long as it makes sense with the timeline and story and things like that. Looking forward to it!
OMG! Thanks to @folala for pointing out to me that I had completely missed this entry! I get awarded BUT HEAD JUDGE this round
My sincere apologies to @Ainsleyf
Babylon
Interior - 10/10
I loved your crazy two-bed bed! And I really liked the blue Throne Room, with the triple curtains. That looked really slick! AND!!! The Queen's Bathroom with the curtains around the tub? Stealing that. I loved it so much. It's very elegant. I did notice that sometimes you can see the little handle thingy on the curtains, it's hanging out in mid air, it's not attached to the wall, and I could only see it at certain angles in a few pics. But it's a beautiful build. The different "elements" having their own temples is inviting my sim-imagination into all kinds of stories with my Ojas Tribe!
Exterior - 10/10
You really built something stunning on this round. LOTS of lovely green plants and sparkling water, and it feels... divine. I get that it's a Holy place. AND it's a pyramid!! Just like our first challenge! It's an impressive build! Thanks so much for sharing!
Creativity - 10/10
"As the flat world rotates" is my new favorite day-time tv drama.
And I just like to say "Yehuda". I said it out loud four or five times before my hubby asked what the heck I was doing.
AWARDED: BEST ENTRY I FORGOT TO JUDGE
Thanks so much @Fabtiffsim. Missed the floaty bits and will look for them. I'm having router problems so may not be on a lot but looking forward to an underworld and have some ideas.
Holy Smokes...just saw you mentioned Nicholas Roerich in the Agartha description. I love Nicholas Roerich. I've been planning to get to his museum in Manhattan forever. Maybe this summer.....
Skill level: Expert? I bounce back and forth. I think this one is up there due to sheer detail.
Back story: My simself, Kiss Fontaine, journeyed to Agartha and found not cave dwellers, but a society of highly enlightened Sims who had evolved to cope with the harsh light of a world where the sun cannot set. Though hard angles made up a great deal of their architecture, it all seemed based on their symbol of life, the eight-pointed star. That story is here.
As for the build, I don't even know what to say. I had a picture of a simple cross-shaped temple from Minecraft and I just kept building onto it. I gathered a folder full of Agartha-related art for inspiration and tweaked and tinkered and I'm not entirely sure what I built, since it all grew out of the center. I figure that since it was built in kind of an organic way, the society ought to be in tune with nature.
I hope it's half as cool as my daughter seems to think it is! Oh yes, and it was all built with base game stuff only. The Sims in the pictures are wearing a lot of custom content, but I never use custom content in my builds. Viva la BaseGame!
You have put so much work and detail into both the build and the background story to it! @phantasmkiss You are such a very creative writer! You transported us to Agartha through what you wrote and the pictures of your build , making us feel that we were actually with your simself and her daughter, experiencing what they were seeing and doing! The design of the build looks so very great! Very nice architectural shape and design of the building areas! The curved and octogonal roofing looks very nice! The stairs look great through the build areas. The star shaped pool looks very nice! Very nice diamond patterning through the middle hallway in the build!
Each area is so creatively designed! It was special that you created sims based on what Agartha people look like.
It was very nice reading the very creatively written story and seeing pictures of yout very creatively designed build!
I'm so glad you all like it! I usually have floor plans all finished before I start, so I was really worried it would end up a mess. *passes out celebration cookies*
I just had to double check the due date on this really quick haha I was like "aw man hopefully it's not like today or something..." we're busy watching the hockey playoffs up here where I'm from!
I really want to see other entries! When you're the first person to finish a big test (or build!) it's always nerve-wracking turning it in. "Did I do it right? Maybe I should have spent more time on that one question."
That's what I get for spending a few solid days at my computer instead of working a normal amount.
I used everyone else's garden entries as inspiration, by the way. ♡ I was super impressed!
