Show me your Vampire Lairs «12...Next Go

Hey guys, so since we have a show me your Vampire Sims post, thought it would be fun to see all your Vampire lairs. Or maybe they live in a modern home, either way I want to see.

I'll start first.
I downloaded a house from the Sims Gallery called Classic Stone, check it out.

I edited the entire house, making it smaller to fit onto a 30x30 lot, and changed the interior and exterior to match the Vampire theme.

Ironically my favourite room is the one that never gets used, the kitchen! I just love the cluttered and dusty look, cobwebs and random stuff everywhere, has the look that it never gets used because why would a Vampire need a kitchen? Instead it holds the stairs for the Vampires true sleeping chambers, a crypt of coffins.

So please, show me yours.

Current outside look:



Haven't done much work on the house yet. Inside the tomb there's stairs down to the lair. Haven't done much there either. So far just a coffin and some cobwebs. Plan is to have another entrance to the tomb from the basement of the house.

My vampire has the wish to have her own vampire family from sims whom she will eventually turn to become part of her "family". From the outside it doesn't look like much.


For those who dare to venture to the lower basement (I added this), that is where it all takes place at, there are six cells in it.


She sleeps in the seventh room, close to her prey.


Inside each of the cells are almost all the comforts of home.

She noticed that her prey was having a lack of social needs, so she added some extra doors to connect a few of the rooms together, but can be locked when need be.


To keep the guys looking fit and trim, she also added a work out room to each of the cells. After all she can't have her future children getting out of shape.

Love love love them all!

Love the mausoleum, the green house and asylum. All great ideas that I need to implement.

I've made some changes, made my crypt bigger, changed one of the bedroom and decided to add some history to the place.

Inspired by the mysterious lady statue I made two vampire Sims, the statue lady and her son. They both died tragically by a fire set by a group of vampire hunters. The significance of the lady is that she was the one who brought upon peace between vampires, fairies, witches and werewolves. She was known to be a beautiful woman, loving doting on her son.

One day her enemies made an arrangement with the vampire hunters to kill her but spare her son. Unfortunately her son had returned home early and got caught in a fire set by them. Her mother attempting to save her son failed and in her last few minutes had been consumed by rage that the ugliness inside her came to the surface, transforming her to a monstrous creature, permanently in her dark form. Her loyal servants took their remains, making a tribute to her as seen with the pond and her statue, behind holds her urn where the angry spirit dwells.

Her son was too buried, through the power of the faeries, wild flower grew upon his grave and it is the same power that allows for a few of the fauna to remain lush despite the lack of upkeep, though the power is failing as can be seen.

I used the Maxis spooky stuff castle, I fixed the floor issue there was by the tower balcony. I made this a single story since our vampires don't need much to keep their needs up. So this is my end result

Really liked Straud Manor but I wanted something with more room. So I set out to try and make my own version with a more roomy layout while keeping the feel of the original.

Here is my Straud Manor (also available in the gallery):


I didn't use any electric appliances or lighting (aside from some hidden mood lights) to try and give it that old timey feel. Your Ancient Vampire Lord of course needs his three brides so I gave each their own customized room.

I was actually pretty happy with how this one turned out.

I'm currently building a "hippy vamp" compound for my plasma fruit drinking vampires. It will house both vamp-sims and human-sims except the humans sims don't have access to the underground levels. They only live above ground and will tend to the gardens for the vamps.

I finally finished mine last night!











I decided a while ago I didn't really like basements, so there isn't one. lol. That's why I had to build my own vampire nest. Everyone was using basements on the gallery!

It's not complete (I still need the vampire Pack XD, darken it up a bit, maybe new inspiration will come my way)
but this is the structure...

Took me 3 castles builds to See how I want it.

Basically everyone you see is just a place holder.

OMG I love this house and the inside! Could you please upload it to the gallery? I would love to have it in my game. I am just not able to build houses... The roofs always look weird. I have no idea how other people do this! LOL

Since I'm not much of a builder, I just downloaded a nice looking goth house and then went about creating a basement in it where my vampire sectioned of one side as her lair and the other as a place to keep her humans, Here are some pics, I saved her lair, her bathroom and the human prison to the gallery as rooms. My orgin ID is Hmae123

It's not really a lair. I'd go so far as saying it's actually a house. It's a makeover of Wolfsbane Manor.
