So, um, Origin has disappeared.

I haven't played Sims for the past few days because I've been playing my Steam games.. Today, I turned my computer on and went to start up Origin, but I noticed that the shortcut isn't there anymore. I searched for it on my computer and it showed up; except when I clicked on it, I got an error message saying that it Origin.exe had been moved or deleted... But, I don't know what happened? Last time I opened Origin, it gave me an error message about not being able to update and to try later.. And that's what I was planning on doing, but now it's gone.
Any idea as to what happened? And is there anything I can do, or do I just have to reinstall Origin and everything?
If I do have to reinstall Origin... Is there any way to save my games I had?

You can download and reinstall origin. All your games will still be there. It is only the origin program that needs to be reinstalled.

If your Sims files are still on your computer, your games will be fine. Origin games are saved locally, not on a server.

Yea, everything is still there. Except Origin itself. Well, I guess that's a little reassuring.

Yes, they will still be there. They are kept in your Documents -electronic arts-sims 4- saves folder.
