i'm still undecided as to whether or not i'm going to get the vampires ep. if you could indulge a few questions, i'd really appreciate it.
1. are you able to buy the ability to be invulnerable to the sun like you could in TS3?
2. the goth family is really suited to being vampires. Is it a problem turning npc sims into vampires and then having them die from exposure to the sun? I'd hate to turn Bella into a vampire and have her die while taking her morning jog.
3. are you still experiencing a lot of bugs in the expansion? I know expansions are pretty buggy when they are first released. So i usually wait awhile before getting a new expansion pack.
In my game I have Bella and Vlad together. (After many failed attempts to kill Morty off by making him enraged, he took a stroll into the sun to feed off of a sim, and I just kinda let nature do its thing. ) They just had a child, Alistair Straud. Poor thing! He got the sad moodlet from the dollhouse being destroyed, which in turn gave Vlad a happy moodlet, since he's evil and loves to be around other sims in misery. That seemed a tad disturbing to me.
I agree with the general concensus that Caleb has really good looking kids. Good Sim genes! @luvdasims55 I do have several NPC sims that are vampires that roam around but it's mostly at night when they are out and I haven't seen one burn to death yet but then I haven't really stopped them and chatted either so I imagine that can happen if they aren't resistant to sunlight-which is an option for Vampire powers. I am really enjoying the pack, personally. Of course I also enjoy most supernatural life states as well (except for the zombies-not a fan). If you aren't opposed to mods and still worried about them burning up during the day, there are some that help with the whole "day light" issue.
hahaha! I was back at my "good vampire" compound where the good vamps live in peace with the human sims. Keith, one of the humans that lives with the vamps at the compound, set up a gardening club to help the vamps since the vamps can't go out in the sun.
It's working great! Now the vamps will have time for sparring and other vamp things. lol

I turned Bella and Cassandra Goth (they make great vampires). Cassandra came over to visit my Sims, hung around, then left. In the middle of the day. She burned up on their front porch.
Just be careful with them. If they're around your Sims and they start smoking, get them indoors as quick as you can.
Finally was able to get my hands on this pack! I've only really gotten to play a couple of hours Here is a screenshot of Lucy drinking from a plasma fruit:
I wish someone would look at me the way Lucy looks at her plasma fruit...
I have been taking a break from the Sims, I didn't even know toddlers were out, much less vampires! :O But I just bought this game pack. Excited to see what trouble I can get into!

Quick backstory: Random townie vampire I saw stalking one of my sim's houses once. Showed up again at at restaurant (a glitch maybe? Then again guy is a foodie) doing this stalking pose and it was brilliant! And I checked him in Manage households and he is indeed a dance machine. A fabulous, groovy dance machine!
I have no memory of this place. Time to start anew I guess

Also, created a new Sim, got her turned by Caleb. Forgot to get any pictures of her before my game froze and I lost all progress, cause my genius food poisoned brain said "Don't worry about saving, you can do that when you quit for the day." 0.o
