Can't bathe my toddler

I apologize in advance that this is a repeat problem. I could not find the post that I originally seen about this issue. My sims can not bathe their toddler and she is getting pretty ripe. All bathtubs are in correct spots and facing the right direction. I also tried the suggestion from the other discussion about repairing the game. This is what I was doing before coming back to look what other suggestions were made but then I could not find it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a baby in your household? There has been issues with bathing toddlers when there is also a baby.
Once the baby has aged up, the issue should be fixed.

Yeah, I have a baby as well. This is gonna suck. Hope they fix this soon because it would be nice to bathe her. She is getting really grumpy. lol

You could manually age up the baby. Then the issue would be fixed.
You could also use a cheat to raise the hygiene level of the toddler.

Simply moving the baby a good ways away from the bathtub allowed me to bathe my toddler. If you can't just age up the baby (as per challenge rules and/or you simply don't pre-age your sims) try moving the baby further away from the bathtub. You might have to move and test the distance a couple times.

How do i start a new discussion? It's not giving me the option.

Just curious, has anyone had any trouble getting their child sims to come up the stairs? I aged up a child from toddler and she refuses to come up the stairs. All of my other sims go up and down no problem but she will not! I've deleted them multiple times, moved stuff away from them and tried other stairs with no luck. Anyone got any ideas?

You have to be a full member before you can start discussions. You are still considered a "New Member". @rosemow has awesome info for new members. I'm sure she'll post it for you when she sees this thread.

Other simmers have also had this issue. A workaround is to get the child to travel to a community lot. Then have them travel home, and the issue should be fixed.

I ended up aging up my baby but next time will remember to try the other one about having the baby a good distance from the bathtub and see if that works. I don't do challenges but I have been trying to get myself away from cheats. lol

It is great that moving the baby a distance away has helped with the bathing issue in your game

I'm glad too because that was a pain in the rear. Had to remodel my house though. The current layout made it impossible to bathe the toddlers but the new layout worked great.

I had this problem too. I couldn't bath my toddlers. I didn't know it was because of my newborn baby. I moved house and the bug was fixed.
