I didn't really like the CAS, I mainly used Sims 2 to make and play hot men, so it was a bit vital. Other than that, I couldn't figure out a lot of things, so I gave up. I was young, with a short attention span and not tech savvy enough to look up tutorials, I'd probably have given it a better chance now, but by the time I remembered the sims franchise again, Sims 4 was out. I love the graphics and CAS, so I couldn't go back to Sims 3.

For TS2 I don't know either but I haven't played as much.

I can't calculate my TS3 because Origin is very wrong but I bought the game when it came out and actively played it most days up until TS4 came out.

For TS4 I have 562 hours and the demo has 92 hours but that is misleading because I've played a lot with Origin offline.

TS1: Absolutely countless hours since 2001
TS2 UC: 186 hours since July 16 2014. Years of playing TS2 before this, though.
TS3 I have no idea, but I'm guessing 500 hours or more.
TS4: 247 hours since May 5th this year.

About 1000 on TS4 (I checked the other day and it was 990 but I've probably passed 1000 since then). I also played TS2 and 3 though so it's likely double to triple that :S
