Do you like brussels sprouts? «12...Next Go

I've heard that many people hate them. Do you?
I just love them so so so so much! Just made a chicken stir-fry with brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower and string beans and mushrooms.
Mmm, the sprouts are soooo sweet. I'm looking up recipes now how to cook them in other dishes.

I love them. They have to be done right though. I had some recently that were almost like rocks... not so good. But overall I love them.

They're not too bad. I don't love them tho just cuz I hate vegetables.

There are certain things in this world that were put here as a lark.
Like hairless cats. Brussel Sprouts would fall under that category.

I see them as any other type of veg, but it was a shock to me when I first heard that people hate them.

I've only had them steamed. I'm the only one who eats them whenever I make them. So good!

I wondered what brussel sprouts were when I was little, so I tried them at a restaurant when I was like 8. I liked them, they've got a weird taste. LOL. I'm fond of how they look like because they look like little cabbages.

haha that's true, they do look like that I like them too, especially with either this white sauce we sometimes make them in or with bacon

I want to like brussels sprouts, but I don't. I love broccoli and cauliflower though!

I read that there's a gene that makes brussels sprouts taste bad for some people.

I like them. i usually roast them in the oven.

As long as they're soft and don't taste bitter I don't mind them. Seems like they end up tasting better steamed.

I have sprouts once a year, at Christmas. That's about as much as I can tolerate of them

Depends how they're cooked really. When they're tough and hard it's awful, but cooked/streamed to the right texture, they're good. So I don't hate them, they just have be a certain way, or I pass.

They're alright. I like oven roasted ones well enough.

I only like them with a ton of nice and fitting sauce, otherwise they are just "acceptable, but really nothing more at all" to me.

So technically I don't like the taste and only tolerate brussels sprouts when they are surrounded by so much sauce that their own taste disappears

They're delicious, shredded and pan fried in a little butter and olive oil, with salt, pepper and some crispy pancetta. Or, shredded and sauteed with leeks, some spinach, with added chicken and some reduced stock makes a really yummy pie filling.

@Pary sounds yummy. I'd make pies but I can't use the oven in my appartment cause the land lady says it takes too much electricity.
