Hob visited during the night and played on the water slide until morning so no-one was disturbed this time
After the kids had gone to school and the chores were done, I had Jensen propose that he and Eddy go steady. I figure that it's his turn this time

And since Eddy proposed to Jensen last time, I had Jensen do the honours this time
As the boys rushed off to woohoo (autonomously) they got mashed together a little in their rush but I thought it looked like they were holding hands
After woohooing, I sent the boys to the small park as I could see there were a few sims there. I thought it was cute when Eddy announced the engagement to Noel, Hamon's son
This is Christel, Noel's daughter, so Jensen's great-granddaughter
And this is Alton, Noel's son. He's a tad unfortunate looking as his mother was descended from the Hemlocks.
Jensen tried to introduce himself to Noel's wife but she wouldn't stop playing chess. When he cancelled the interaction after waiting for a while, Eddy took advantage by coming over to flirt Venus, Larkin's wife, also came to the park. I got a popup later in the day that she is due to die tomorrow which means Larkin can't be far behind
I saw Alton in Eddy's queue and was delighted to see "Receive Warm Introduction" - Alton must have the "good" trait
A couple more family members arrived - Diot's son Morris (dark hair) and Eda's son Bob (blonde on guitar). Eddy is a loner and was getting uncomfortable so I sent the boys home.
Jensen had this cute smile on his face while waiting at the cake for his family to join in the celebration
His smile dropped - "Hang on! Will she really make me go through with this?"

That's one thing I really liked that they changed from Sims 2 to sims 3. I would hate how my sims in 2 couldn't go back to sleep after being woke up and half full of energy. At least Hob is not causing too much mischief while visiting the family.

Sometimes the balls are the bane of my existence. I've had sims be in the red cause they wouldn't put that ball down to go eat and use the restroom. I only buy it now when my families are pretty small, and I'll delete them once the family grows too large that way sims aren't playing catch without my knowing.
I have the dairy corral, and I've still yet to really use it. I use the chicken pen a lot. Is the dairy corral pretty much the same? You just get milk every so often? (Ahh... there's a game you can play with the cows? Now I'll really have to give it a twirl).

I like the patterns on Ebba's prom dress. That is different.
I had the same thing happen in my game (one of my teens dropped the queue to get in the limo and wasn't gonna go to Prom). I clicked on her (she wasn't in my control) and with MC I told her to go to school. She ended up arriving right as the other teens and the popups said she was there. I'm sure she wasn't "technically" at prom, but she was at school and Leonidas prom pic with her worked.

Cyd didn't look happy about Ebba spending all that attention on Sam. I think he might have wanted to know his future DIL a bit better.

I had totally forgotten that about TS2 until I read your comment! Yes, it was definitely annoying if the sims got disturbed for any reason once they were asleep. I love order when it comes to bedtime and meal time. I love giving my sims autonomy for much of their lives but for some things I am a stickler LOL
To be quite honest, I don't have much problem with sims playing ball. I think there is so much else to do that they don't think about it. Instead of asking a sibling to play ball, my kids will go off and play on the playground equipment or go bowling when they need to top up their fun bars.
The cows are quite cute and the tic-tac-hoof is fun even if you can't control the moves and winning is random. They do get a good moodlet if they win and a bad one if they lose but they aren't worth so much that it's an issue if they lose. I had Jensen tip the cow over today and there was an option to get a milkshake instead of just milk I haven't been able to get the cow to eat chocolate yet but I suspect that would give your sims chocolate milk
Even though Natalie wasn't physically at the prom, the game said she was so that was good enough for me. I find the Prom a bit of a waste of time and only let my sims go because they wish to. They come home hungry and with lowered social bars - stooooopid! I don't understand why they feed the kids on fieldtrips when they are not hungry and let them go hungry at night when they would normally be having dinner
Poor Eddy has a negative moodlet whenever the family eat together LOL I feel for him but what can I do - it's a big family!
I thought about Cyd as a potential forever partner but this will be much less stressful because there will be no friction

I tried resetting her but the door remained unusable. I ended up sending Jensen home and resetting the lot. It fixed the door but the party was cut short.
I decided that Eddy would no longer be a vegetarian. If he is married to Jensen he needs to learn to like meat ... besides Jensen's favourite meal is hamburgers

Then he rolled a wish to either cut or colour his hair! No way was I going to change his hairstyle since he aged up with the right hair and that would be just asking for his next age up to give me pigtails! I didn't keep this darker hair because I think it made him look older.

Natalie, Sam and a few of the baby daddies were there too I knew that it was Sam's birthday and was worried that he wouldn't get home in time. Often when sims are out when it is time for them to age up, I find that they go over by one day. A little later, I saw him on the way home and he aged up as he should
While Jensen was busy with Rohesia, Ebba and Eddy spent some time together. I can't get used to seeing "Step-father" since I normally only play married couples and Jensen never went as far as marriage before now in this save.
I saw Ebba scaring Eddy from the corner of my eye but didn't get there in time. Instead I got this cute smile after the act

I let Ebba and Sam have total freewill while the the family got on with their Saturday morning chores.
The dishwasher broke and Eddy rolled a wish to fix it - I bet he regretted that wish! LOL After he had a shower, I got him some radical reparum from the chest and he got it done in a flash (without an electrical flash)
This is Aldith's last morning as a teen! I have some kids who never go near the sandpit and some who won't keep away from it - Aldith, although artistic, would rather play here than paint.
Since I felt sorry for Eddy being electrocuted earlier, I had Jensen finish teaching Rohesia how to walk
Then I had him get started on potty training. I love the way sims look at each other
These two didn't leave the bedroom all morning! While Jensen was potty training Rohesia, I got a popup that they had got engaged
When things were relatively quiet in the household, Aldith had her birthday. I didn't let them eat the cake since they were still full from breakfast and I hate the stuffed moodlet.
I had to change outfits for Ebba and Sam since they had come out of the bedroom for the birthday and for Hankin because I don't like the martial arts outfit. He reached level 8 this morning!
I thought I took a pic of her before her makeover but I must have not pushed C hard enough

After the birthday, I sent her to the mirror to get her first charisma skill point. She rolled a wish to give a charming introduction and I found the elder son of Mortimer Goth at the park.
Then I sent her home because Rohesia needed a social top-up and the boys were busy jamming Jensen must be thrilled to finally have someone to make beautiful music with because they often autonomously jam
Once again, I left Ebba and Sam to their own devices and they seem to be amusing themselves without any help from me
I sent Hankin, Aldith and Law to the park. Jensen had rolled a wish earlier to text somebody or other and that usually happens when a grandchild is born in town. I found Amice at the park with her new baby
Law introduced himself to Eda's son, Bob. I think he will be an elder soon.

I had seen the "ask for daughter's hand in marriage" in the interactions since installing Generations but never bothered with it as I am usually in a rush to get the kids married and out. Since my game is more leisurely now that the baby challenge is over I had Sam ask Jensen
The facial animations were great! Jensen agreed and I awwwww'ed at the popup "Yes Sam, I would love to have you as a son-in-law. I give you my blessing to marry my daughter, Ebba."
Eddy returned from his stroll with Rohesia just as they finished.
"I can see you, Ebba!"
"But you still got me!"
Hankin didn't find it as funny as Ebba did!

Marlon visited again. I saw him heading to the cow but missed him failing to tip the cow over LOL
When I went back in-game it was 3am. Hob showed up around 4 and went straight for the game console.
Just before dawn, Marlon found Hob and I got all kinds of excited!
Unfortunately by the time they got over the "ewww, a ghost", it was time for Marlon to return to his headstone
While Jensen and Ebba were chatting, Hob joined them Being a ghost, he just rudely drifted between them
As I wanted to invite Natalie over for Hankin, I got Ebba and Sam set up in their new home
While I was organizing everyone, I had Law and Rohesia get to know each other better at the block table. They got to friend status
Since I don't have a boyfriend for Aldith yet and Law had a wish to visit the park and Aldith had a wish to meet someone new, I sent them to the small park. Noel (Hamon's son) and his family were there.
Back at home I found Hankin and Natalie in their sleepwear
I will be taking a 2 day break from this save because I have started a 5x5 challenge which is good for when I only have a short time to play. Fortunately, I don't have much of a life (except when my son has needs to be met) so this save will still get played until it becomes unplayable. Besides, I really want to think of a partner for Aldith - I am all about the romance!
On tablet (shocking, right lol) so I might not get to really comment like I want.

After dinner, I had Jensen start on the toddler training.

While Jensen was busy with Rohesia, Ebba and Eddy spent some time together. I can't get used to seeing "Step-father" since I normally only play married couples and Jensen never went as far as marriage before now in this save.
I saw Ebba scaring Eddy from the corner of my eye but didn't get there in time. Instead I got this cute smile after the act

I let Ebba and Sam have total freewill while the the family got on with their Saturday morning chores.
The dishwasher broke and Eddy rolled a wish to fix it - I bet he regretted that wish! LOL After he had a shower, I got him some radical reparum from the chest and he got it done in a flash (without an electrical flash)
This is Aldith's last morning as a teen! I have some kids who never go near the sandpit and some who won't keep away from it - Aldith, although artistic, would rather play here than paint.
Since I felt sorry for Eddy being electrocuted earlier, I had Jensen finish teaching Rohesia how to walk
Then I had him get started on potty training. I love the way sims look at each other
These two didn't leave the bedroom all morning! While Jensen was potty training Rohesia, I got a popup that they had got engaged

I had to change outfits for Ebba and Sam since they had come out of the bedroom for the birthday
I thought I took a pic of her before her makeover but I must have not pushed C hard enough
She's very pretty
After the birthday, I sent her to the mirror to get her first charisma skill point. She rolled a wish to give a charming introduction and I found the elder son of Mortimer Goth at the park.
Then I sent her home because Rohesia needed a social top-up and the boys were busy jamming
Once again, I left Ebba and Sam to their own devices and they seem to be amusing themselves without any help from me

Law introduced himself to Eda's son, Bob. I think he will be an elder soon.
Hankin at the picnic table with Amice, Timmy (Herry's son) and his wife Julianne.
Aldith and Hankin hadn't actually met Timmy and Julianne and rolled wishes to give friendly introductions

Back at home I decided to try something I hadn't done yet. I had seen the "ask for daughter's hand in marriage" in the interactions since installing Generations but never bothered with it as I am usually in a rush to get the kids married and out. Since my game is more leisurely now that the baby challenge is over I had Sam ask Jensen
The facial animations were great! Jensen agreed and I awwwww'ed at the popup "Yes Sam, I would love to have you as a son-in-law. I give you my blessing to marry my daughter, Ebba."
Eddy returned from his stroll with Rohesia just as they finished.

It started pretty late, so I let these sims all have a chat with Jensen, then sent him home.
Marlon visited again. I saw him heading to the cow but missed him failing to tip the cow over LOL

Just before dawn, Marlon found Hob and I got all kinds of excited!
Unfortunately by the time they got over the "ewww, a ghost", it was time for Marlon to return to his headstone
While Jensen and Ebba were chatting, Hob joined them
As I wanted to invite Natalie over for Hankin, I got Ebba and Sam set up in their new home
While I was organizing everyone, I had Law and Rohesia get to know each other better at the block table. They got to friend status
Since I don't have a boyfriend for Aldith yet and Law had a wish to visit the park and Aldith had a wish to meet someone new, I sent them to the small park. Noel (Hamon's son) and his family were there.
Back at home I found Hankin and Natalie in their sleepwear

I will be getting back to this save tomorrow. I have just been totally caught up in my other save because Clifford, Hamon's son in this save, is one of the main sims and he has me totally hooked
I really want to get Aldith set up with someone so I can't just leave her stranded
You really need to get the cows! When I saw Marlon trying to tip it I couldn't quite believe my eyes and had a great laugh over it
I don't normally install patterns in sims3pack format but I have made an exception for a few of CravenLestat's because they are so darned nice
