Sims 4 update:
(yes I haven't been playing it. I have instead been playing the Sims 4 Room Challenge. I completed it with 282 points.)
Xiomara became an elder. She is level 7 Criminal
Reese (the ex-TH) is level 8 TechGuru. His husband Rory is still level 6 Athletics. He needs to reach level 8 Fitness.
Una aged up to YA and moved out. Giana aged up to YA and moved out.
Troy (the current TH) aged up to YA. He adopted a little girl, Luna and is pregnant after a one night stand at one of Windenburg's nightclubs. He joined is a level 1 Politician. He joined the Lorax cause.
GEN 7 rolls: Mixed Single Parent - This roll works exactly like single parent, with the added requirement that the children be a mix of biological and adopted children. 4
Career Hopper – Must roll for five conventional careers. You may jump between these careers as you wish, so long as you have spent a day at work in at least three by the time your sim becomes a full adult, and all five by the time your sim becomes an elder. Dependable - Your heir, spouse and helpers must complete all daily tasks for school and work, beginning in childhood or upon move-in to the house. You may use vacation days given by the game to skip school or work if you're not going to be able to handle the task, but you may not skip if you have no vacation, or without using your vacation, or attend without having your daily task completed(even if you have saved vacation). Re-roll if no non-profession conventional careers are rolled this generation. Half-Siblings - Sims born this generation must each be with a different partner. Re-roll if you're only having one kid.
Sims 3 update:
Zander (ex-TH) maxed the Painter career. Tiara, his wife, is Level 6 Film (Actress).
Ryan (TH) is Level 4 Fortune Teller. Griffin, his adopted son, aged to YA and moved out. Prior to moving out, Griffin was abducted by aliens. He moved out pregnant with an alien child (because I wanted it.).
Jaliyah (Heir) became a teen.
Sims 4 update:
Reese was promoted and is now a level 9 Tech Guru. Rory was also promoted (finally). Xiomara is level 7 Criminal (Boss).
Troy is now level 4 Politician. He has one adopted daughter, Luna, twins: Raina and Christopher and is now pregnant with his fourth (and final child).
Update:
Corinne, Zander's adopted daughter, aged up and moved out. Due to taking lack of precautions, Tiara became pregnant and gave birth to a son, Kareem.
Ryan is Level 6 Fortune Teller (Mystic).
Jaliyah is a YA. Her LTW is Bottomless Nectar Cellar.
Congrats on finishing that legacy! I'm a week out Sim time from the twins turning to YAs. Jordan has completed his LTW of mastering alchemy and using 50 potions, as well as made it to the top of the career. Linda, however, will probably not make it to the top of the criminal profession because of her late start and the silly "no progression until after midnight if you got promoted this day" bug! At least I didn't roll perfect careers for them, so I think it'll be okay that she's just in the evil criminal career.

I did, however, finally get a new computer as my old motherboard was dying on me. So, I managed to save the .nhd file from my old save into a new save I created in the same world. It worked perfectly! I love it when things work out as they should.
I was able to transfer everything from my old hard drive to the new one. So, I had the screenshots from my play before I lost my old computer as well.
No, I'm glad it's still going. I do have every intention to get back to the challenge just now getting back to normal(ish) and trying to slowly come back.
I need to reconnect with leonidas again. I've been toying with a new way of presenting his story, but it'll be a little while.
School is now out, so things are calming down, which is good. Hopefully in the next couple days I can get back to his save and remeet him.
I'm on my phone, so I can't update the first page, I do need to do that, still. Thanks for continuing your story and coming back to this thread.
Hm, I guess I've added at least three more chapters since I was here last! Fortunately, they are all linked on the random legacy page as well as the gen 4 page.
So sorry I've dropped out from this thread. I'll admit, I've felt guilty about it. It kept me from posting here. I get so absorbed into the game and then take a long sim break. The cycle repeats.
@cience exciting news about your new computer. Wow, I really need to catch up with your family. Are these recent chapters from your new computer? @ChelleJo It's nice to see you pop back in when you can. Hope you're doing well.
@Simasaurus09, no need to feel guilty about taking a break from simming! Yes, the latest gen is all from the new computer. I've got an SSD now with the Sims all installed on it (even the saved games). It loads in under a minute (usually half a minute to get to the main menu and another half a minute to get in game). It saves in roughly the same amount of time that it takes to load the save. One wonders why I took so long to upgrade, but I really didn't want to go to Win 10!
Feeding granola to the horses for every meal is just too wrong. Each horse has to be hand fed after aligning perfectly with the feeder, which can take a lot of the horse backing up all over the place and realigning. Then, the hunger meter barely moves. After feeding all the granola and making more, it starts all over again. I seriously don't think this was play tested with a sim who needs to raise horses for a living. (I might take a mulligan: I rerolled to get tatoo artist, if I need it.) I will make the vegetarian grilled salmon some time this generation for the heir. The spouse has goopy carbona, so that was easy. The child actually got peanut butter and jelly sandwich, so that is easy too. I'm making granola and placing it on the ground next to the hay. So the horses get the happy gourmet granola moodlet as well as the hay one. If I just have them eat granola along with their hay it will work out okay, but there is no way they'll be happy eating granola after granola to try and fill up.
