Okay so I have $1300 to buy myself a new computer as my old one (HP all in one) died and now I'm struggling to play on my laptop.
I'm in Australia, and currently checking out JB hi-fi but I have no idea what to look for
I have no idea how to choose what would work best at running the sims. What kind of computers does everyone else have? And what would you recommend to run the game well
thanks

@likesaree Chester is an expert builder and lives in Aus. She is best suited to help you. I paged her but if you want better to send her a pm
this first pc costs 699(usd) which means 943(aus) its not the prettiest but can play alot of todays games at high or meduim and the sims 4 at ultra no problem at around 84fps! https://www.amazon.com/CybertronPC-Rhodium-950-Gaming-Desktop/dp/B01CSE0TVK/ref=sr_1_25?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1480933886&sr=1-25&keywords=gaming+pc
this pc is but more expensive but way better you can play alot of todays modern games at ultra settings or high but not all of them and you can play the sims 4 in ultra around 119 fps it costs 779 (usd) or 1049 (aus) and i recommend you to upgrade the ram though 8gb sometimes isnt enough for modern games but in the sims 3 and 4 case it should be no big problem https://www.amazon.com/iBUYPOWER-AM600i-Gaming-Desktop-i5-6400/dp/B01KW42TSY/ref=sr_1_9?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1480935031&sr=1-9&keywords=gaming+pc

No offense since your not a computer expert and don't live in Aus I don't know why are posting PC's in the USA. Your cluttering up this thread when OP needs actual help
well i give him/her the price in aus dollars and i am sure you can order from amazon in australia i tired finding something good for her from jb hifi.com but nothing good was there @phoebebebe13 but i did best i can right?

No you can not order PCs from the USA to Aus. One they are in a different zone. Two there would be import fees. There are computer experts in tech that live in Aus and are best suited to help op
oh ok i didnt know that sorry but i am sure people can help her sorry XD but i did the best i could

OK, your best bet is to get from online sites such as Mwave (recently got my custom $3300 pc from them.) Or pccasegear which is also highly recommended. Avoid the retail stores such as jbhifi as they do not make good computers for gaming.
These would be your best bet within your price range

Both will handle the games very well.
