there aren't enough careers (even with all three expansion packs). I personally would like to see fashion designer, botanist, veterinarian, DJ, baker (specifically, not culinary), cartoonist, librarian, astrologist, historian, and therapist. though my first two choices are most important to me. :/
I'm so old, I remember when "hashtags" were called POUND SIGNS.

aside from gameplay aspects that i know will come eventually (new jobs or traits) id love story progression because i hate having to control every sim in order for them to have a life and advance in their career. like in TS3 sims had jobs, love interests, and skills, but now they all just age up and die and don't continue with any family

Stalking is against the rules and in the last 2 threads ive read you have atacked Kate123179. TRUTH there is no story progression the only skills that go up in unplayed households is if there on a lot with you, exercising and talking that's it. without a mod they get old die and unless you replace the households yourself and delete the ghost households left you end up with a ghost town. so take your own advice and play or buy the game. not nice hu

Seasons/weather (including appropriate objects and activities)
    A hobbies/FreeTime pack
    Tropical theme vacation
Werewolves, witches, and fairies and an ability to turn off occupants
More hybrid careers like from city living

    Some "regular" careers
More hairstyles for toddlers and children
    Customizing clothing/bassinet for babies
Couple being able to cuddle while sleeping?
    More instruments
More counter and bed options (even just more swatch options for each bed)

Honestly though I'm having a whole bunch of fun with TS4, these are just some ideas that I think would be cool! :)

Do you remember in sims 2 how you could choose to what gender the sim is attracted? And choose few things that they find attractive about certain sims? Like blond hair, brown eyes and such? And then in sims 3 how you could choose fav food and colour? I been missing that in sims 4 really badly and a lot of cool stuff could be done with that.

For example if your MALE seem likes other male sims and is being hitted by a female sim then that sim could feel unconformable or it could be akward. Or if you have a sim that likes brown eyes and blond hair and the other sim likes black hair blue eyes and both of them matches their liking it could be easier to flirt?

Or if you are eating your favourite food the sim could be extra happy. Or if the sim is eating food that you can choose that they "hate" for example they could not eat it or refuse to eat it just have a negative moodleit from it.

Personally I think it would be great to see this come back to sims 4 with little ungradion and development. It would bring soo much more to the game play!

I think it's a part for choosing Transgender in Create A Sim. They would not leave that out. So if you add that to your game I am sure it would happen.
I think Sims 4 was supposed to be made from Sims 2? I did read that, Strange to leave out so many things players were loving. Really I think Players would Love a return of Sims 2 with New Graphics like a Retro Game

Yes!! This is more than them even doing silly thinks within my household. I had to mod my game (which I normally do vanilla games so it was a learning experience) just so I could stop micromanaging marriage and children in unplayed house holds. Spending 3-4 hours a generation to ensure the neighborhood is populated with family's I'm familiar with (vs just random townies) was getting old!

I want to see my household sims have more self started skilling or even go out to lots (maybe with a pop up saying so and so wants to go to the lounge, yes or no?) That way more than one sim can be off having a life without me sacrificing to bring my main sim on a date, ect. I mean more than just telling them to level a skill ect too.

Also, school is such a colossal waste of childhood, I'm shocked that they don't at least have the option to increase skills (even if it's limited to traditional school subjects like mental, social, logic, writing, ect). By the time they are home they have little time for skill in or family socializing so I've mostly skipped school.

Yes but you can only choose that they are transgender. You cannot choose what gender they like to date if you know what I mean. Or what they are attracted to another gender. In sims 2 if you created a sim you could choose if the sim likes to date a male sim or a female sim. You could choose if they like brown, black, blond, ginger hair. What eye colour do you like more ect. When they added the transgender in create the sim it laked a lot.

It feels like the sims don't have their own personality. They will flirt with who you choose them to flirt. They will do it with female or a male no matter what. I feel like if they added that from sims 2 to sims 4 they might get moodlets like if you like boys.. that if you flirt with girl it its awkward and such. Or they would get flirty with the sim THAT sim you are playing with is close to someone they feel attracted to.

I have all the free updates of sims.. and when they added transgender create a sim they just added transgender create a sim, which is not that good either. I would love when in game play the sims would be born a boy but get moodlets of "I feel like a girl" and stuff. Or wish for being a girl. It would make more sense then us just choosing it.. Transgender sims don't even spawn if you don't create them and put them in game. In that update there is something like choosing what you like about another person or what you are attracted to. Or what is your favourite colour. Or What food you like or dislike. It is just choosing what clothes your sims prefers - fenimin or masculine. If their body build is fenim or masculine and then if they can get others pregnant, get pregnant or non. And if they pee standing or sitting.

I would deeply enjoy more gameplay akin to Dine Out's restaurant management, but this time down the vain of running a school! It would be awesome if you could set uniforms, lunch menus, hire janitors, teachers and manage unruly classrooms. Perhaps there could be events like food fights, visits to the principal's office, or classic teacher pranks. I think players could pick to run an elementary school (children) or high school (teens), and pick perks based on how well your school is doing similar to Get To Work/Dine Out. It would add hundreds of hours of gameplay and make the lives of young sims more interesting and of course funny!

Can we also have different shaped stair cases? Like L shaped or switch back or curved? Something other than straight.

I would have liked to see spiral staircases and elevators by now. These two things are so useful. (Sure there are mods, but this really just needs to be officially placed in the game) Its really nice to space conservative stairs. Another thing I would like to see (Although this is something more future based) is an autonomous option for vampire feeding, such as plasma fruit salad in the "have a quick meal section." One vampire is easy to maintain, eight vampires is a different story. (Sure there are plasma packs, but the rate at which they go through them is incredible."

A lot is missing. I feel like there are a lot of aspects of life missing here still and we need a more fleshed out gameplaying experience. I want college and , active school for kids and daycare for toddlers.I want more things to do leisure wise and more ways to tell stories.

Swings please! I would love for swings because the jungle gyms are too big for my Sims' gardens and my Sim kids needs more outdoor toys. Also baby/toddlers swings.

I really hope we get swings, not just for kids but also for adults, Swings are just fun for everyone. adding and stand alone slide would also be good. your right the jungle gyms need a lot of room.
A swing set would be nice for our parks and our homes.

@Stormsview, glad you agree :) I loved it when Sims of all ages could swing in Sims 3. Slides would be good too because you could have a small slide for in the garden and bigger ones for the parks!

I neeeeed another form of transportation when going off road, one of my sims is doing the curator aspiration and walking long distances for crystals and such is such a hassle.

I would also like to see new rewards in the rewards store, the same things get boring after a while.

    Lakes in build mode

Okay, I'm re-posting this because I know this is where these suggestions/requests should be:

For every EP, GP, and SP that you release, please add more stuff to build mode as well as the usual objects for each room. Could you add more:

    1. Carpet tiles, bathroom floor and wall tiles designed for kids.
    2. Columns that are connected to arches.
    3. Please also bring back the L-shaped stairs and the spiral staircases. Plus give us rounded walls and rounded staircases to go with it.
    4. Please add bunk beds and sofa beds and water beds
    5. More window choices for all three wall heights (especially the tall wall height) like louvered windows, corner windows, lantern windows (esp. for the roof), gable windows (again, for the roof), round bay windows, ventilators, seamless windows and clerestory windows (ones you can connect without the frames - it'd be great for pools as well), picture windows, skylights, etc.
    6. As for doors, please add pocket doors, sliding doors, and folding doors so we can design fabulous verandas, lanais/patios, and balconies and even more fabulous rooms. Can we make all existing doors and windows available for all wall heights as well?
    7. Can we please make more objects for shelves, consoles, and coffee tables so we can have more knickknacks like colorful decorative bottles, vases, books, different-shaped sculptures, (heck, even simple round sculpture objects will do) and decorative bowls? Pretty please?
    8. Please also add shower heads without the stalls. Just the shower heads so we can have ceiling mount shower heads, rain shower heads, handheld, sliding bar (so they can be adjustable for kids), and shower panels. These would go great with glass sliding doors when customizing a bathroom. Another great idea is if these shower heads can be attached to bathtubs.
    9. Round fireplaces for interior rooms and square and round fire pits (like the one in Brindleton Bay) for the outdoor area of the house.
    10. In-ground hot tubs and bathtubs that can be connected/attached to pools. Can we please also connect fountains to pools both on decks/platforms and on the ground?
    11. As for furniture, sectionals would also be great additions and chaise lounges, not to mention pool lounge chairs.
    12. Brick ovens for delicious pizzas.
    13. Can we also have the ability to prop up paintings created by our sims on floors and surfaces (i.e. shelves and consoles) so that they're leaning against the wall at an angle (with and without a stand) and not just appearing flat on the wall?

Pretty, pretty, pretty please? Really would love all these to be incorporated into the game someday soon. <3
