@WinteryGarnet Pretty sure it's celebrating stories/chapters/whatever that fits in with the theme. You're welcome.

Hey everyone, sorry, I really dropped the ball this month. Happy February! Here are my thoughts for upcoming celebrations/discussions! If you're new to this thread, we nominate SimLit stories (of any and all kinds) that showcase the month's theme. It's a great way to promote other SimLit writers and share in the love of all things Sims.
February 2018 - All Kinds of Love (of course, romantic love is accepted and I'd love to showcase all kinds of other love - familial, friendship, mentorships, self-love, etc.)
March 2018 - A Bit of Luck (stories featuring luck, good fortune, blessings, etc.)
April 2018 - Happy Spring (stories featuring spring and spring-related holidays)
May 2018 - Hello Mama! (stories celebrating mamas and grandmoms)
June 2018 - Hello Daddy! (stories celebrating dads and granddads)
July 2018 - Brother, Sister (stories celebrating siblings)
August 2018 - You've Got a Friend in Me (stories celebrating friendships)
This month's theme is: February All Kinds of Love (stories, chapters, shorts, videos featuring SimLit love, etc.)
So what's on your reading list? Where is the love?
Oh Cool!!!! Hmm.... can I nominate @CathyTea's Puppy Love? This story explores all sorts of different kinds of love and loss, but through pets and ghosts. It's a lovely and insightful story.

thats the name of it. i couldn't remember yesterday so i called it the old lady with the dog.
Alright I'd like to start off the month with a few SimLit on my current reading list that fit into the "All Kinds of Love" theme for the month of February 2018.
@Simcraft81's O'Raj's Journal... I love the childlike voice in this story. The love between O'Raj and his mom is sweet, and I'm enjoying his sweet friendship with Bella Bachelor.
Not sure who this writer is and if they're on the forums, but I accidentally came across the prologue for Three Times a Lady: A Rival Dynasties Challenge, and loved it! This is probably an unusual one to mention for "love," but I see a deep friendship love blossoming here and characters who love themselves enough to not put up with crappy jobs (and I've been in that situation, so it resonates with me). And the tale surrounds three powerhouse women which makes my happy!
I finally got all caught up with @LegacySims2017's #BuildNewcrest challenge: Simself edition. Today spoiler alert!!!
the kids get married
and the chapter made me smile, plus I love the dance sequence in the video. If you're not caught up, or haven't read yet, you can start here.
I'm over in the Book Club thread reading this fortnight's featured story by @mypalsim1 - Chain Reaction. I adore the forbidden love blooming between the protagonist, Bri and the handsome game-generated townie, Graham. I like how they met here ... such a meet-cute, even if it's taboo.
Okay, this one might be a bit unusual, but I felt like mentioning it. @InfraGreen's twisted, toxic love between Axel and Thu in No Stars Over Uptown... seriously, it's like watching a train wreck; I can't look away.
That's enough from me for now. I'll let you all nominate some now.

Yep, I love Puppy Love. Although, I always end up crying. Not always for sad reasons, though.

Oh yay, @simscognito! I'll add it. Yet another CT story I gotta read.

Thank you, Cog! I'm so glad you enjoy this story! I might play it tonight! I'm excited to get to see Chloe make friends with her new housemates!

Happy March! Welcome to one and all. If you're new to this thread, we nominate SimLit stories (of any and all kinds) that showcase the month's theme. It's a great way to promote other SimLit writers and share in the love of all things Sims. I forgot to mention this last month. If your story is nominated, feel free to use the image on your site and link back to this thread. Another great way to promote one another.
March's theme is:A Bit of Luck (showcasing stories, sections of stories, chapters, shorts, even Sims videos, etc. featuring luck, good fortune, blessings, rainbows, pots of gold, the Irish, etc.). You might also showcase a Sim with good luck or fortune (or for fun, kicks, and giggles (and irony... cannot forget irony) we can showcase an unlucky Sim or situation).
Share the wealth... of SimLit... (and maybe you'll find a new story in that pot'o'gold), what's on your reading list?
To start off the celebrations, since I'm reading the story again with fresh eyes, I want to mention @swcheppes' Super Dating, which we're also discussing in Book Club this week. I feel like Erin, the protagonist, is super lucky meeting and dating all those superheros.

maybe the sequel could be called how to date a superhero.
Yesterday, while I was sick in bed, I binge-read The Lost Dancer by @RainbowPlumbob . I thought it was such a cute story, that fits very well the theme of hope. I also found it quite surreal, like I was wandering through a dream; the kind of dream that makes you cry out of happiness. I don't know, I found it rather emotional!
