Game got stuck in Build mode when trying to go to Edit Town... ><

I worked on a lot in Edit-in-game in CAW and now that I finished, I obviously tried to go back to Edit Town in order to save it.
Well, I clicked the Edit Town icon, but not the game is stuck in a loop while trying to get there and this is annoying as hell. The game isn't frozen or anything, since I can still see the names of the highlighted items in the work panel but it's loading and loading and loading.
It's stuck on the lot, in the build mode.
Should I keep waiting until it eventually loads the map or should I give up?
I'd be really sad if it's all lost tho.
