Cannot login to the exchange but can log in to the game!

I just reinstalled the sims 3 since I don't have the money to buy the sims 4 expansions right now. I can login via the game. When I try to log in to my profile so I can get my stuff from the exchange, I get a blank white box with no inputs for email and password. I tried tech support but they just tell me how to troubleshoot download issues. That's not my problem. I thought posting here might get me a real answer instead of a useless canned response that isn't even relevant to my issue. Sorry EA tech support but I have to give you an F for a complete failure. Hopefully the forums can solve my issue. It might be a problem on the server. Has anyone else had this problem? My tech support issue is number. 25826410. Can some one please help?

Hi there. Although the forums are moderated, your audience here is your fellow players, not EA staff though a Tech Guru does swing by occasionally to be helpful. Afraid the support issue numbers aren't going to do us any good here.

Are you attempting to get into the Exchange through the Launcher button or through the TS3 website? It's all connected of course, but I just logged out of the TS3 site and back into again with no trouble and could get to the Exchange that way. Others though have been reporting server issues on and off for the past few days.

In case it's any help, there are arguably better and safer places to get CC from though. MTS, TSR, there are still lots of TS3 simmers with their own sites and on Tumblr, etc.

It's working now. Only if I use your link. It still won't work from the game.

The download content did not appear in the game even though I told the exchange to download it.

I can download each item manually. I can not select several at once as that feature is broken.

You could update your Java if it needs it. But those all look like EA server side errors to me, the only thing you can do when that happens is wait for them to repair the server on their end.

Its probably a miss-configured server. The question is is EA going to do anything or are they concentrating on The sims 4.
