@mintycupcake I haven't watched much of Boy meets world but I heard it was super popular at the time. I only just found out about it when Disney aired Girl meets world.
Of the TGIF line up, it was my least favorite, but what else was I going to do for half an hour on a Friday night?
How did I not see this thread sooner!!!
I'm meltic with good vibes & sweet nostalgia!
Samurai Jack fanatic here! Season 10 has been a hella amazing ride
Just don't go on Tumblr atm cos it's full of cancerous hate for Jack & Ashi right now Getting really sick of the pe-do & the lone wolf plum I love where Genndy has taken the shows direction.
I kept reading some viewed Ashi like a student and Jack like a mentor but how so when it was clearly hinted at what kind of relationship they would have in the future. Let alone, why would Jack be a mentor to Ashi? She knows how to fight and take care of herself. The only thing she needed help with was to see the truth and how her whole life was a lie. Which was a very pivotal moment when she was tied up by her own weapon swinging from a tree branch as Jack contemplated whether she could see the truth and change. And before that, another pivotal moment is when she would easily get distracted by the beauty of nature and showcasing compassion. It's quite fitting for her to fall in love with the man who showed her there was so much more to her and life than she ever known.
I also love the direction Genndy has taken Samurai Jack as well.
Yup, loved playing Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and I also used to watch the show too.
Used to watch Gargoyles a lot. I also miss Bonkers and all those other Disney shows.
I used to record Cardcaptors along with some other cartoons on VHS before school. My drawing style was apparently, heavily influenced by anime and so I keep trying to develop my own style just for someone to say hey that looks like anime characters.
Totally Spies loved it as well.
The other shows are my first time seeing except Fruits Basket I heard of but never watched.
I didn't mind Ghostwriter and my late grandfather gave me a box full of Goosebumps books which I read some of them and really liked it. Unfortunately, I've lost all those books but somehow managed to come across one. I don't know, maybe I do still have these books...somewhere or just that this one.

My sister had so many silly bands & jelly bracelets too! Oml Mighty Max I had forgotten about that show! @Deshong04 I have read that issue!! Oh wow & yup I also have seen Tales of the crypt & Afraid of the dark. I had a conservative upbringing so I used to watch it while everyone in my household was asleep. Which eventually resulted into becoming a nightowl later on in life.
Well, that escalated quickly. I was wondering when the battle with Aku would happen. Did not expect Ashi to be literally Aku's daughter. How sad for Jack and Ashi to be put through that situation. This episode definitely has me asking questions. What happened to The Guardian and portal from S3:E6? I know Aku said he destroyed every last one of them but did he really? I think there is a reason why Jack ended up back there and how things may unfold.
As suspected, things don't look good for either Jack or Ashi. And now the sword which is the only weapon against Aku is in his possession. So when are all the other people that were grateful for Jack's help going to help him? Hopefully, the finale will be an hour long.

That episode wrecked me It was a pretty rough night for me after that. Damb you Genndy
Samurai Champloo introduced me to Lo-Fi music (Rest in Beats Nujabes) Cowboy Bebop got me into a Jazz phase also.
Used to watch Captain Planet on Saturdays when I was a kid. Beetlejuice series actually never aired here in NZ
I've been meaning to watch Big O but never got round to it. I did read the manga as a teen. Tenchi Muyo did air here on Toonami but I missed out as I did not have access to Cartoon Network at the time.
I have to mentally prepare myself for the finale. It has been a very rough ride Bring it on Genndy!!!!
OOh! Going up to Montreal and watching shows I never really saw in America. Remember those books about the big school, with weird kids and even weirder teachers? Welp, up in Canada they made a great show about it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayside_(TV_series)
And another one that was pretty much my go to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_of_the_Jungle_(2007_TV_series)
Beyond Good & Evil 2 looks really good. The trailer reminded of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End because of Nadine Ross, Sleeping Dogs and The Fifth Element. It's been years since I played BG&E and should replay because I kinda forget what happened. But I know I had a lot of fun playing that game so it's nice to get more information about the sequel. Can't link to the trailer because you know...language but here's some information about the first game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_Vx7FlMGKA
Edit: Didn't know there was a gameplay trailer. Can't wait for this game whenever it will release. (Funny detail about the skeleton holding BG&E. ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWmiALbzT9s

Years ago, I found this animated series on Netflix called Wakfu and I absolutely loved the story and characters. Just found out yesterday that season 3 is out and so far watched two episodes and it's amazing. Still getting used to the voice actor changes though. In particular, Ruel's voice sounds the most different. I know during Samurai Jack's final season they had to use a different actor for Aku but that actor did an amazing job imitating the previous actor's voice and unique speech mannerisms. From what it seems, the other new VA's imitate how the character was already introduced for the most part. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pya-U4-mzJo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPTVtPWZlJA

@Deshong04 I was confused when I saw Wakfu on Cartoon Network. I've never seen an MMO series adaption on the network. Watched a few eps & actually enjoyed it
@Savage_Patch_Kidd I think Wakfu is the first series I watched that was adapted from a MMO. I think it's interesting. Season 3 reminds me of of season 5's more mature tone in Samurai Jack.

Tbh I had low expectations of the series since I did not like the game, watched it on a whim since it was something like 2am & it was a marathon. I was refreshingly wrong & ended up wanting to see the rest.
Such a nice surprise as I haven't enjoyed any of the new slots on Cartoon Network for a long while.
Toonami was awesome. Could still watch it but I usually fall asleep for the shows I want to watch since it airs so late. I wanted to watch the new Lupin the 3rd. Eventually, I'll watch it on Crunchyroll.

Really? I don't know much about the new version of Lupin but from what little I read, it seems some think it's good. When it comes to reboots and/or changes, I can be very picky. So I'm not sure if I'll like it as much, more or not at all compared to the older series.
