    Bring back the fire dept. (please close this)

    If this could please be closed, as it's a petition, thanks.


    I've just the other day been made aware that we have a sprinkler system in this game, and that it puts out fires quicker than a fire dept. dispatch would.

    So quite simply, I find myself now with this petition for something that I actually very much doubt they'd add in, so should I keep the petition going?
    Here's the petition:


    Quite simple; please sign if you want the fire dept/fire brigade back.

    I'm lucky I haven't had a fire yet, but to be honest it's worrying; the possibility of a fire and no one to call for help.
    edit: - this refers to NPCs and also the possibility of a fire fighter career

    Given that we've got sprinklers I now seriously doubt they'll add the fire. dept. back in, plus sprinklers seem more effective at putting out fires.
    Should I keep this petition going? please let me know in the comments.

      Signed - I definitely think they should be added, and it shouldn't even be that hard, all you need is someone to appear on the lot (even better if they make a fire engine, but I doubt it) who is programmed to put out fires (an animation we already have), Simple!

      I would also like if they made it so you're more likely to have a fire because in the two years of playing TS4, I have only had 1 fire, which I created on purpose...

      Sign me too. It would be nice if they make it and active career like the officer. I actually had a fire from the birthday cake, I didn't even know it was possible. I was trying to show my boyfriend who never played before how my sims can have birthdays and out of nowhere fire. lol I told him to stay away he jinxed me and almost killed my sims.

      I would like to see the firemen return (along with burglars and police)

      Yes firemen would be nice along with toddlers and real teenagers. I hate that my teens are like young adults I want prom night back and a sim that looks and acts like a teenager!

      Emergency responders would be appreciated. It makes the world feel more connected, watching your house burn down seems really weird, as I feel like any member of the community would be like "that can't be right, I should call 911".
