Do you think they will add more poor lower class items with City Life? TS4 is like middle class and upper class only. It would be the right time to add lower class items with City Life. There are more poor people in the cities.

I'm hoping for Victorian squalor straight out of a Dicken's classic or Whitechapel London 1888.
I don't want to see this. The Sims is supposed to be a happy game. Poor people don't make me happy.
It's meant to be a sandbox game, as in 'you' can do whatever 'you' want.
There are some furniture pieces in the basegame with a chipped look to them and less than pristine, though those do look more shabby-chic and less shabby-grunge. I would like more low-end items for sure and smaller items that fit nicely into small spaces.
I love playing Rags to Riches challenges and it's hard to play 'rags' when everything is so perfect. I spend so much time looking for the objects that have those little chips in them
A city pack would be the perfect chance for them to add this kind of stuff. (Also loving the burning trashcan idea!)
Hopefully so. and not just cheaper modern only. Preferably some cheap old grungy objects that one would find in a thrift shop, or some hand-me-down's from grandma!
Things like dad's "duct-taped" 70's recliner chair, mum's cat scratched 1950's sofa, and maybe a small low-back upright piano if the pack includes bands. Throw in some cardboard boxes as a side table and were good to go.
I don't think we'll get homeless lots or stuff (maybe a homeless stuff pack with grungy clothes, a supermarket buggy and a cardboard box to live in) but I hope we get all spectrums of city life. High end penthouse living, studio lofts, family apartments, all the different living situations that every city has.
I hope to see a return of the makeshift furniture that came with University Life. I loved furnishing dorms and apartments with those little boxes everywhere.

You mean something like this?
It is actually given the date 1888 so seems legit for this thread
I was thinking about cheap-looking couches and burning trashcans
I shall name him Oliver Twist and he shall be a chimney sweep and sell meat pies.
Yes please, more things that are not sparklingly new and shiny.
They could work like the bonfire.

I would like it.
