    Thanks for doing this.

I've singed up and tested around a bit and got an error:

When you click on the portrait without having selected a person yet, there's an error

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined
    Stack Trace

TypeError: Cannot read property 'get' of undefined

    at SVGCircleElement.__onclick (http://app.theplumtreeapp.com/app.bundle.js:31894:19)

Also, would be great if we could import the files we can write with MCCC somehow :D

    @JoieWilder Thank you! :)<3

Would be cool if there was a way to distinguish if a sim was a twin or triplet. I always miss that with family trees. Anyone have an idea how I can mark a sim as a twin or trip?

@ChelleJo That's a great suggestion - we love user feedback and ideas! :)

It can get tricky with details like this, since if we add too many things it could get confusing. We want to be able to show as much as possible while still keeping the interface simple. But it's definitely a good point to consider for us - we're constantly releasing updates based on our beta testers suggestions :)

For now, I would probably just mention it in the bio?

I'm so derpy! I didn't even think of the bio as a way to record that (even though I literally just filled in the bio on my main sim). Thanks! :)

@crinrict Thank you for letting us know :) We've been able to reproduce the issue and know what's causing it, we'll fix it within the next couple of days :)

As for your comment about Gedcom files, it's a suggestion we've had before and definitely something we'll look into in the longterm future, but it's not something that would be happening over the next few months - we need to finetune everything on our end first :)

Haha no problem, it was a good point to mention nonetheless!

Plum Trees are the best trees! (except maybe Fig trees :P )

These are my Pigglewiggles - 10 generation Legacy

I do have a question @ThePlumbob - about the publish URL - is it always the same? Does it automatically update when I save changes or do I need to publish again? Is there a play to get it without hitting publish?

I love the Pigglewiggle tree @ra3rei ! It's so fun to read through the bios and remember how awesome the heirs were :)

Re urls: The link stays the same every time you publish (so you could for example post it on your blog and the tree would change as you update and publish again). When you save, it just saves the changes for you, but if you want other people with the link to see you need to hit publish again, and that will make the changes visible for everyone with the link too!

Excellent - that is what I hoped.

I love the tree and I used it a bit earlier. Is there a way to see other peoples published family trees? Browse through them a bit like the Sims 4 gallery.
I share my builds and Sims' stories sometimes at: https://simplicityplaysss.tumblr.com/

@Emma_Smith101 Not at the moment (right now you cqn only see other people's trees if they share the direct link ith you), but a gallery of user trees is a feature that we're really keen to imlement in the near future.

You can find my tree here. It uses a lot of really cool features, including the ability to distinguish between adoptive and biological parents and having the same person in more than one spot in the tree.

First I click on the wrench next to Regina, then click the "Person's Partners" dropdown. Then I put Daniel and Natalie into the same text box (if you hit the "add" button and put them into two separate ones, it will look like they were both her partners). After hitting save, Natalie's circle should be inside Daniel's to show that she's one of his partners.

@Pegasus143 So impressed you've made such good use of the advanced features, we love that you're finding them useful! You get a gold star! :star:

    Awesome news!
I had an alarm set today when I read your post before, haha xD So excited!

I wanted to ask, are there plans for it to include adding the partner's tree? I take screenshots of my sims often to keep track of features the grand/children have so I'd be able to figure out where so-and-so's nose came from and all that. I usually use my tree to look for names to refer to the CAS pictures I take of them whenever a child ages up.

In the FAQ it says that eventually they'd like to add a feature to be able to link to the partner's tree.

@ThePlumbob For the twins and triplets thing. Actual family tree markers use connected lines so that it kind of looks like a triangle.

    Wife ---- Husband
    ^
    Twin Twin

Not sure if that helps with that idea. Anyway, I'm currently using it to record my 100 baby challenge since I've been carrying the lines down through the kids who've moved out.

My phone is just awful, like.. it's one of those mini ones and I've dropped it soo much because I'm clumsy. :/and it's cracked and.. EE. Thank you so much.. ThePlumbob, I know I need to shush up, but. <3 this is just so awesome. (:

@ThePlumbob I did have a question, though. Just curious if being able to upload our own customize backgrounds would ever be possible with the app (down the road)? I would love to be able to add something to make each of my Sims family tree backgrounds unique. :)

I Just developed an android app of this through the Appgeyser site and it works perfectly! Unfortunately there is a bug that makes it impossible to upload any pictures, though this is a limitation due to the way the android app was made [image attached].

@ThePlumbob like @Pegasus143 mentioned having the same person in more than one spot in the tree. If there was some way to show the connection by lines that would be cool, for example I have two sims that have children together but when I put the female sim as a partner (who's already on the tree) it doesn't show that she's already on the tree in another spot nor that she is linked to her children in the nodes under her husbands name in another section of the tree. I hope that all made sense, if not let me now I can pm you a photo.

If we could have a feature where we could include the children of partners from previous relationships and partners family members that would be cool too.

Oh and the crop tool is an AMAZING feature, thank you so so so much!

@aprilrose Woah, 24 generations? That's amazing - I hope you publish your tree and share it on here when you've got it, I'd love to see that!

yes 24 generations is amazing, i don't think i've ever had this many generations in any of the sims previous series before so i'm proud of myself :) and of course i'd love to share it once it is complete.
