It was meant to be a fun trip to the mountains. A trip to spend time together before the inevitable graduation that would break them all apart and take them different ways in life. A graduation that was fast approaching. When Ashley received a letter in the mail for a discount skii trip to the snowy Windenburg mountain range, it seemed like a perfect idea. The seven of them would go up to the mountains, spend some time skiing, and just be together as friends for the last time until all their paths crossed again during college. It was almost meant to be that the brochure arrived right before winter break, just like someone had planned it all along. They rode the same plane, took the same cab, and they all arrived together at the beginning of the trail that would lead to the snowy skii resort the brochure promised. What they didn't expect, however, was to be trapped in a house of mazes, dead ends, and with a psychopath that fondly named themself "Whisper". Frightened and trapped, the only thing these friends know is that they are constantly being watched, constantly being toyed with, and they don't have a hope to escape until Whisper is done with their game.
hello, and welcome to my interactive horror story! as the above blurb states, there are seven characters that will be involved and one mystery character (Whisper / the psychopath). whether the characters survive the night of horror, or whether they end up dying is all up to the readers and those who vote in the polls! this interactive story will be done in episodes, and a new episode will be posted once a week to allow a proper amount of time for all votes to be casted in.
every event, every location, and every encounter will be randomized using a role sheet that i have created. this includes everything, even interactions between sims. preset "themes" and connections to other characters will remain unedited, but can shift and evolve through the course of the event / episodes. i will state this time and time again, nothing is guaranteed to happen other than what you vote to happen. some episodes may have only one choice decision, others may have up to five or six depending on character interactions. every choice will have a consequence in this story, whether a good consequence or a bad consequence is only to be determined by your votes.
due to possibly violent content and mature themes, these episodes will be hosted on my Simlit blog under the tab "Repentance" and this thread will be bumped with an updated as episodes are released in the week.

the only characters that are already created are Ashley and Whisper, I still need six other characters that will be submitted by simmers on this forum! this will be first come, first serve basis. when all six characters have been accepted and added into the role sheet i have, i will randomize where they will "spawn" in the skii resort, who they will "spawn" with, and what each choice based life or death decision they will experience first. if you submit a sim that has CC, please provide the CC so i can add it to my game. otherwise, your sim must be base game compatible as i do not, currently, have really any of the add-on's to the game. no sim is guaranteed to make it out alive, not even if they've cheated death once or twice previously. the only thing that can save them is your votes. i will not change outcomes, i will not twist the randomized events. if the sim is voted to go down the path of death, they will die, in all finality.

When you are submitting a sim to be used, please provide a gallery link / an easy way to look them up, a small background blurb for them (for an example, see Ashley Wright's; unless you want me to write it for you, which i will), and keep in mind that i will most likely change at least one detail about them. thank you.
now that all the slots have been filled, the sims have been randomized to start in various locations in the skii resort. the first episode should be released sometime tonight (fingers crossed) or sometime early tomorrow morning. this includes the first poll that will be submitted. no character will be able to die on the first episode, as no voting will have taken place yet, but they can die in the second episode, so vote carefully! voting will open officially when the episode is posted.

MEET ASHLEY WRIGHT
ashley was always a sensitive girl, by nature. she never really got picked on, she never really stood out, and that suited her just fine. she blended into the friend group that would provide her the most social support at the time. unfortunately for her, she has a tendency of being selfish and completely ditching those she considers friends if it suits her whims and current social need. of course, she never intended to hurt anyone's feelings or abandon anyone necessarily, she just had to look out for herself from day one because she knew no one else ever would.
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
DE'NIRO: de'niro is the kinda guy where you really want to like him, but you just can't. or, at least, that's how ashley feels about him. she can't quite put her finger on it, but something about him is just screaming the word "fake", and because of that she doesn't necessarily consider him on the list of her "liked and most liked" people.
AMANDA: ashley and amanda are thick as thieves. amanda always is so put together and organized, which is perfect for ashley who would rather just "drift" from friend to friend. amanda is one of the few friends, however, that she has yet to ditch for a new one. they always seem to somehow get along and fall into plans with one another, even if it was unexpected. besides that, amanda is sweet as pie, so it's not like ashley minds.
CLARK: ashley and clark have been an on-again-off-again couple since their senior year started. they don't really have anything in common; ashley was more into makeup and clothes while clark was more into science and math. despite this, ashley is one of the only people clark could ever be vulnerable around, and vice versa. they love each other, genuinely, but they both are too selfish and caught up in themselves to stay together for more than a few weeks at a time.
CONRAD: ashley and conrad were a thing, and then they weren't. now, they're friends with benefits whenever ashley feels inclined to give clark the boot from boyfriend status back to "broken up" status.
FREDRIKKE: she never really talks to ashley. she actually seems frightened when ashley attempts conversation. ashley has no idea why she was included on the trip, or why she even is part of their "group", but she tolerates her. not like fredrikke is loud and obnoxious, after all. she's pretty easy to ignore.
MEET KATHY MUELLER
Kathy has always been a positive, geeky, down to earth person. She always tries to see the best in people, and is loyal. She's not super outgoing; she loves being alone with a good book or researching all things science. She was hesitant to go on this trip, but her amazing fiancé Shawn pushed her into going, as a new "experience". Kathy isn't quite sure what to expect, but she's ready to go!
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
DE'NIRO: kathy and de'niro are far closer than either of them let the rest of their friends know. since childhood, they've been in at least one class together every year. kathy has witnessed the bullying that de'niro went through first hand, and she was there for the incident that occurred in grade school. kathy doesn't keep his secrets for no reason, of course. she's a nice person, and doesn't want anyone to be hurt, but sometimes a little blackmail can take you a long way.
AMANDA: kathy and amanda have a lot in common. they're both organized, they're both intelligent, and they're both happily in a relationship. well, that was until amanda caught her boyfriend cheating. it left kathy paranoid for awhile that Shawn might be messing around behind her back as well, but a talk between the two of them ease her nerves. now, it feels awkward to talk and hang out with amanda. what used to be group dates were now trios, and kathy felt guilty for talking about Shawn. it's really impacted their friendship negatively.
CLARK: clark and shawn (kathy's fiance) are like two peas in a pod. they're both really nerdy and connected over their shared love of video games and science fiction novels and comics. while kathy doesn't know clark that well, personally, she has received his ire in more than one situation where she didn't "take a character seriously enough". clark can get really scary when he's mad, and because of it, kathy avoids him as much as she can when someone else isn't around.
CONRAD: he's alright, in kathy's book. they did a project together, and she was worried that she was going to have to carry mr. star athlete through it, but he was actually really invested and helped a ton.
FREDRIKKE: kathy really wants to be friends with fredrikke, but it's really hard to be friends with someone who is constantly too crippled by anxiety to even have a conversation. kathy is the main reason, right next to conrad, why fredrikke is still invited to their group gatherings and adventures.
MEET DE'NIRO LOH
De'niro exudes confidence. An athletic build and dreamy eyes, all the ladies love him. His tough, self assured appearance hides his true demeanor. De'niro suffers from low self esteem and is a loner at heart due to being picked on as a child due to an unfortunate incident that happened in grade school. Despite this, Niro is forcing himself out of his comfort zone and working his acting skills like a pro. Can he become one of the confident popular jocks he's always admired from a distance, or will he revert to being "Nervous the nerd"?
PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
KATHY: de'niro likes kathy and all, she's polite and nice. the only issue is that kathy knows so much about de'niro from them being in school together basically all of their lives. it freaks him out knowing that someone out there has so much information and knowledge about him, especially when that person is in his new friend group. it was so hard to assimilate into this group, and the last thing he needed was kathy revealing a secret and ruining his reputation...
AMANDA: amanda and de'niro have had chemistry since day one, and the only reason they aren't dating is because amanda was in a serious relationship before their trip. amanda is one of the only people de'niro has been entirely vulnerable with. she knows what happened to him in grade school, she knows the bullying he experienced, and she's seen him with his confident guard lowered. when he heard she'd broken it off with the tool she'd been dating, he tried his best to hide his excitement because now, he actually had a fighting chance.
CLARK: in clark's book, de'niro's just another typical "meat head" who is the captain of the basketball team. whatever, not like clark is all that great of a guy himself anyway.
CONRAD: conrad is de'niro's partner in crime. conrad plays as captain of the school hockey team, while de'niro is captain of the basketball team. they'd never even spoken to each other until they managed to get a gym class at the same time in a semester. now, they do just about everything together. de'niro isn't as close to conrad as he is to amanda, but he cares about him and he'd definitely call conrad his best friend.
FREDRIKKE: fredrikke is weird as hell; there definitely is something wrong in her head. de'niro doesn't really like her, as he thinks she's creepy, but he's nice to her since he knows conrad has a thing for her.
MEET AMANDA COLTRAINE
Amanda Coltrane has had her life mapped out for as long as she could remember. In high school, she was star of the drama club, head cheerleader, an asset to her school's chorus, and Prom Queen. She applied to the best colleges to study music and drama and got her wish when she was accepted into the school of her choice. To top it off, her boyfriend, Derek, would be going to the same college. They were supposed to get engaged and then marry right after graduation. That was, until she found out he was a no good cheater. Shortly after their breakup, Ashley pitched the idea of the trip and begged Amanda to come along to "heal". Just this once, Amanda decided to ditch the plan and live little spontaneous.
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
KATHY: when amanda was still dating derek, she spent a lot of time with kathy and shawn. they went on plenty of double dates, went shopping together, and more. then, when derek and her ended, kathy seemed to pull away from their friendship. she could feel the awkwardness as well. they had bonded over their significant other, and spent so much time as couples, it made sense that kathy found it hard to spend time with just amanda knowing what had happened. she doesn't hold a grudge against kathy, though it has left her hurt.
DE'NIRO: de'niro is the sweetest guy amanda has ever met. when they'd first started becoming good friends, she'd almost wished she wasn't with derek so she could date him. however, he's been an unwavering support in her life after the break up and she has always appreciated his honesty and humbleness in their conversations.
CLARK: from being friends with kathy and shawn, she'd often met clark in other social situations outside of school and group gatherings. he has a really arrogant personality, and it really irks amanda, but she does her best to not lose her temper on him. she always thought that he couldn't be "that bad" if he was friends with shawn and kathy, after all.
CONRAD: conrad is the typical jock. there isn't a ton going on in his head, and he has a reputation he feels like he has to uphold, but he's never been nothing but nice to amanda, so she doesn't really have a bone to pick with him.
FREDRIKKE: she's definitely a nervous nancy, but seems nice enough, so amanda doesn't really mind her.
MEET CLARK NORRIS
clark is the "smart one" of the team, if he had to be given a title. with a passion for science and mathematics, his dream is to be the next great "Einstein" of his generation. unfortunately, short temper runs in his family, and sometimes clark's arrogance gets the best of him. he always believes that he can think his way out of any situation, and sometimes that can be his downfall as he isn't very creative and tends to stick to what he's read or learned.
PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
KATHY: she's the fiance of shawn, who is one of his best friends. though kathy seems to find his passions "funny" and "hard to understand", he doesn't really dislike her. it's more so that she's just annoying.
DE'NIRO: meat head #1.
AMANDA: amanda's alright. clark hasn't really had a chance to sit and having an in depth conversation with her about anything, so he can't really have too much of an opinion on her.
CONRAD: meat head #2.
FREDRIKKE: a freak who doesn't know how to have a conversation.
MEET CONRAD FISHER
conrad is one of the "rich kids" of the school. he's simple minded, but has a genuine kindness in him. he isn't exactly strong in mathematics, but he loves studying science and hopes to use his current athletic ability to pursue a career in being an astronaut. conrad does his best to try and be kind and give everyone a chance, but sometimes he has to uphold his appearance and reputation, and that means being a bit of a... well, jerk.
CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
KATHY: conrad first met kathy in his freshman year. they were in a science class together and forced to be partners on a project. she was nothing but polite and cool to him, but her, her fiance and his best pal are kind of nerdy and lame. kathy seems cool enough, though, and conrad doesn't have a negative opinion about her.
DE'NIRO: de'niro is conrad's best friend through thick and thin. having met during gym class at the high school, they've been almost inseparable since. though conrad isn't aware of what happened to de'niro when he was younger, he does know that de'niro suffers from low self-esteem and does his best to be supportive of his friend.
AMANDA: she's alright. conrad hasn't really had too many conversations with her, but he knows a ton about who she is from de'niro. he seems to really like her, so conrad makes sure to be nicer to her in particular.
CLARK: clark fondly refers to conrad as "meat head". enough said.
FREDRIKKE: fredrikke is a sweet and fairly intelligent girl, and conrad has had the "hots" for her since meeting her. she always seems so nervous and stuck in her own head, but it just makes conrad find her more attractive. he does his best to be a gentleman and to defend her, though she doesn't seem to appreciate his behaviors.
MEET FREDRIKKE TOMME-OYNE
Fredrikke is a rather... nervous girl, and spends most her time alone. She often thinks that everyone dislikes her, even her friends. The only thing she genuinely enjoys is books. Well, writing them, to be more precise. She never publishes them; she only lets her parents read them, who say that she should publish, but her anxiety keeps her from doing so. Always on the defense, she often get nervous in different situations and can even be mean to other people accidentally, causing her more anxiety. She lives in her head, paranoid that everyone around her is out to hurt her.
PREVIOUS RELATIONSHIP STATUSES
KATHY: she's always really nice to fredrikke, but she still doesn't know if kathy is trustworthy. she's so paranoid, sometimes she wonders if kathy is only trying to be nice to her so that she can make fun of her for believing they'd ever be friends.
DE'NIRO: he's nice, but she feels like he has ulterior motives or a reasoning as to why he's polite to her. otherwise, he'd probably be a big jerk.
AMANDA: they don't talk, so in fredrikke's book, amanda is great.
CLARK: he's a completely arrogant jerk, which makes sense that he is dating someone like ashley who is equally as rude and dismissive.
CONRAD: conrad is the only person who tries to have conversation with fredrikke, which she has always appreciated and noticed. she might be paranoid, but it doesn't mean she wants to be completely and outright ignored. he's always very thoughtful and considerate, and he's even asked to read some of her stories when she is ready to share her writing with someone other than her family. she definitely has a crush on him, but her anxiety paralyzes her and keeps her from taking action.

EPISODE ONE POLL OUTCOMES AND STORY IMPACT:
- conrad saved ashley, and ashley was appreciative
- the two became closer, admitting their feelings to one another
- freddie was chosen second to be saved
- freddie has become more paranoid of everyone in the group now
- freddie is becoming hysterical
- kathy chose to look around the room instead of kill an animal
- she examined the hutch in particular, but there was nothing of interest
- kathy is becoming hysterical due to waiting in the room
- clark felt too sick and needed to rest
- whisper visited clark in the study, angry at him for resting
- clark was asleep when whisper arrived and attacked
- clark has died
- amanda and de'niro decided to look at the wall vent
- they barely escaped after prying it off the wall
- de'niro's hands are severely injured from prying open the vent
- amanda and de'niro both survived, but are trapped again
- amanda is becoming hysterical, causing de'niro to become angry toward her
EPISODE TWO POLL OUTCOMES AND STORY IMPACT:
-freddie fought with conrad and ashley over receiving the hammer
- ashley became irate with freddie
- freddie snapped when she realized they were trapped again
- freddie attacked conrad
- fortunately, ashley had the stun gun and was able to incapacitate freddie
- kathy obeyed the letter and killed the sheep
- killing the sheep took a serious toll on kathy's mental health
- finding the key on the first try, however, helped her feel a bit better
- kathy is free from the house and whisper but lost in the snowy forest
- de'niro died while examining the gas release panel
- amanda survived the garden room, but is now trapped in a maze
- amanda feels it is her fault de'niro is dead
- amanda is on the verge of snapping
EPISODE THREE POLL OUTCOMES AND STORY IMPACT:
- conrad chose to watch freddie
- when freddie attacked, conrad wasn't injured and could fight her off
- freddie fell into a trap during the tussle
- it is unclear if freddie survived the fall or not
- ashley blames herself for freddie's entrapment
- kathy entered the bunker and was spared from hypothermia
- kathy was able to bathe and change clothes, helping her mental health
- she met ken (the wild card submitted by Ruby10990) and was able to talk about what happened
- ken was sympathetic and offers to help her get her friends, or get out of the forest
- amanda chose to continue through the maze, sparing her from death
- she got lost and became depressed, reminded of de'niro
- she managed to find a way out of the maze and to the dining room
- amanda saw the remains of the sheep and is now nauseous
- the door is blocked off with very heavy crates, trapping amanda in the room
- there is still a threat of the poison gas from the garden room
EPISODE FOUR POLL OUTCOMES AND STORY IMPACT:
- ashley and conrad chose to throw the bomb in the hole with fredrikke
- the bomb went off, killing fredrikke, who screamed in fear before it exploded
- ashley has become hysterical over the fact that she believes she killed fredrikke
- conrad is on the verge of snapping mentally
- ashley is now paranoid about leaving anyone else to die
- kathy chose to allow ken to guide her out of the forest
- kathy has survived and successfully escaped whisper, but left her friends to fend for themselves
- unfortunately, the kid was only interested in water and the barrels were a dead end
- however, amanda discovered a hidden pistol with 9 bullets inside
- amanda remains trapped
EPISODE FIVE POLL OUTCOMES AND STORY IMPACT:
- ashley and conrad chose to not check out the room
- they did not know amanda was inside that room, and thus left her to get out alone
- they were caught by whisper immediately after descending the stairs
- amanda chose to check out the animal room and found a hidden grate
- because amanda didn't get help from ashley and conrad, she was able to sneak up on whisper
- amanda was able to keep her gun because whisper didn't catch her w/ ashley and conrad
- amanda chose to shoot whisper due to her threatening instead of convince her to just run
- whisper died; amanda, ashley and conrad survived their night of horror

i changed her appearance just a little bit (removed her glasses, changed her makeup to make it look more "winter" and changed her everyday to fit winter weather), but everything else is still the same. here is her character photo, if it will help you write?

thanks, i pride myself in being speedy! ^_^
like i said though, i hardly really changed anything, so that's why everything was so quick; my role playing days got me quick with making little and simple graphics, too, so the image was even easier than editing the sim itself hahahah.
by all means, please write something for her! i can write if needed, but i'd prefer to have people write the backstories for their own sims if possible.

ahhh darn, i already saved her as mueller and did the graphic as mueller!
do you mind if i keep that as her "maiden name" for this particular story?
they're all around the age of eighteen, so marriage is kinda hard to imagine hahah

don't worry, it was great! the main point was to share enough about the character for dialogue / story purposes without writing a novel on their entire life and experiences! plus, that blurb is what i will be basing her speech / behaviors off of (alongside traits, of course) so it was a great mix of personality and personal life!
