Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Windowed Mode Help

I have graphics rules maker to make sure the game is stable but the program refuses to work when I put -w for windowed mode in the shortcut properties
I have tried switching from Win 10 NVIDIA to integrated graphics temporarily but I end up having some bad clipping in CAS ( walls disappear and re appear ) and in live mode ( some parts of the lot disappear for a split second )
The game runs well full screen with the NVIDIA graphics but I need the game windowed for screencaps and multitasking
Also my drivers and graphics card works very well and up to date
Any advice ?
