My computer sometimes crashes, and I think it's because of the graphics card. This computer was my grandpa's but it was for work. So it wasn't meant for gaming, it can still handle The Sims 3 though. The graphics card is, Intel HD Graphics Family. I was wondering if that can hold Sims3 and custom content, I have been really wanting custom content, but I'm scared to get some, I don't want my computer crashing more.

On your other post, you were asked to run a dxdiag report and provided with instructions on how to run one so we can get a better picture of the system you are playing on. That would be more helpful so we can tell you what to expect as you continue to play.

As for custom content, it's all going to depend on the content in question and how much of it. A small number of custom objects probably wouldn't do much harm to any player's game. Very high quality custom hair and skins could cause graphics problems, other things could be in between.
