Well we know for a fact that it's something they CAN implement without having too many issues. And it's something they aren't really silent on as we can get solid answers. I'm still waiting on toddlers lol I'm just saying...
I'd love more recipes with required ingredients! And more ways to get those ingredients. I'd love more plants, but also things like getting milk from cows and churning it into butter, getting eggs from chickens, and grinding flour from wheat crops. That sort of thing.

I'm a foodie in real life and many of my sims are too. I enjoy talking about food and I feel that this atleast is something in the game I can look forward to having more of. They assured us in the live stream that they would add more food items so we could add them in Dine Out. I think TS4 has done great in comparison to previous games when it comes to food choices, minus the issues its having. DO is great IMO and is the best for me in the game so far. I still want my deep fryer, waffles and Chinese take out lol
I think it would have been cool if they would have added a special homemade soup or something to GTW to feed it to your sims when they got sick. Also the feature to call a doctor but that's another topic lol
Remember in the Sims 2 how when your sims got sick there was grandma comfort soup to heal them. Or the juice machine would add health benefits to your sims.I miss those things.

I just wanted to add some more food ideas for the restaurants. (Korean Food) Bibimbap,kimchi,japchae stir fried noodles,Ddukbokkie. (Japanese food) Sushi,ramen in those cute japanese bowls rice balls,yakisoba. (European food) Ratatouille,chicken parmesan, chicken cordon bleu,swedish pancakes. More (soup please) French onion soup,potato soup,wonton soup,chicken rice soup,clam soup, cream corn soup, fish chowder, tomato soup with our grill cheese sandwich spicy thai curry noodles and last but not least zurek. There are so much potential with this dine out game pack. Staying hungry for more!

You heat the water in the kettle, and then pour the boiling water over the tea leaves in the teapot.
It would be interesting to have a variety of tea ceremony styles, the English borrowed from the Chinese, and put tea together with food, and made a meal out of it.
That's called yiros, souvlaki or kebab, in my part of the world. Oz is a big country, hence why we use so many different names for it. And then there's the 'lunch meat' for sandwiches... Devon, fritz, polony. It all depends on which corner of the country you're in. Madness. So many names for such delicious foods.

At first I thought no, because I think TS4 is kind of obsessed with food since we have so many separate food and drink preparing skills, but then when I read through the thread and saw all the ethnic food we still need I was like YES MORE OF THAT! The more multicultural TS4 is, the better, in my opinion, and food is such an important part of culture! Also you won me over a little bit with the holiday foods, like Thanksgiving foods... yum... and the UK has some pretty awesome Christmas foods like mince pies and mulled wine...

That was fun in TS3. It fit well with my Movotti family, and their Italian origin.
