Aurora Skies or Lucky Palms?

My favorite Sim wants to move. She is lonely and bored where she lives now, as everyone she has had her eye on has either coupled up with someone or is already in a relationship/married. So which place would be best for her to find true love and start a family - Aurora Skies or Lucky Palms?

Her traits are Brave, Good, Natural Cook, Family-Oriented and Nurturing. She has built up quite a few skills and has a part-time job at the Sharma Day Spa in Sunset Valley. Her lifetime wish is Swimming In Cash.

I like both, but Lucky Palms is a little bigger (i think). I have only played Aurora Skies one time.

Depends on what sort of feel you want - Aurora Skies, from my recent play, feels kinda small town-ish. From what I remember of it (given I haven't played it in a few years), Lucky Palms feels a lot bigger and more "city".

Lucky Palms reminds me of Las Vegas kinda and Aurora Skies is small(ish) town. It all depends on what kind of simmer you are!

I love Lucky Palms! I'm playing a legacy there now and I think it's a great town. I've seen a lot of beautiful townies already so if you are looking for good genes, Lucky Palms has a bunch. Also, if you like collecting, the desert lands of lucky palms make it quite easy to spot rocks etc. It's a good way to make money in the beginning :)

I love them both. Aurora Skies has the "ugly grey snow" problem, though. Which is a shame, because it's a world meant for winter, IMHO. I like the 'feel' of AS and the skies at night...
On the other hand, Lucky Palms is larger and has more large empty lots for placing Store venues.

I'm not sure which of them has the best-looking single guys, though. :)

I have bought and played in Lucky Palms in the past. It's very nice if you like a desert (Nevada or Las Vegas) feel. It's a very spacious world, and there are plenty of lots. I didn't have technical problems with it, from what I remember, either.

Larger, nice world with a good layout. I loved playing in it, so another vote for Lucky Palms.

@Adamzaid First off @Okblondee7 is a sweety  But second agree 100 percent I love lucky palms it is so big and has a large number of lots to place all the store venues and the other big 64x64s.Plus cool townies and is really beautiful plus the joshua trees are friggin awesome.

Grats on LP and your ten hors will turn into 10 months real quick.I use that world the most.

BTW If you happen to see Lina Lancaster snag her up quick she is a stunner  Such a pretty premade townie you need to marry her at once she makes gorgeous children.

Lucky Palms has some handsome males as well, like Ariel Hudson.

I like both Aurora Skies and Lucky Palms for different reasons. After playing both though, I believe the best place to raise a family would be AS, because LP is more for having a good time, not really family-wise.

Funny thing is, I never did move my Sim into either one of these worlds. I was able to purchase Monte Vista, and that's where she is. Hahaha... :D

@CravenLestat and @Namaya92 I love your reasons for chooing Lucky Palms, they are so funny , hey hey let's play Lucky Palm better than AS just because there are a lot of good gene sims inside :warning:

I don't have lucky palm so I can't tell you. But I love Aurora Skies, this world is small and very pretty. Reminds me a little bit Scandinavia. I am surely wrong hey !

Depends really on what you like! Personally, I got LP and the matching venue (TY to everyone who has gifted me over the years!) and I rarely play it but love the stuff that come with it, like the Wishing Well! I actually lean more towards the Falls or any kind of "exotic" world like Lunar Lakes or even Sunlit! Then again, I LOVE tropical worlds and Supernatural in general...Fairy FTW!
