Why did DJ started burning?

I had my DJ sim mixing tapes, when suddenly fire started behind DJ booth. I made my sim extinguish himself, so he's alive.
My question is, how did my sim started fire when he was behing DJ booth mixing tapes? This doesn't even make any sense! DJ booth only had one upgrade and that wasn't lasers & fog. I really think, that it was bug.

There is an upgrade called " advanced heat sink" on the DJ booth that your sim can do to the booth when reaching level 6 in DJ skill.
Try having your sim do that upgrade to prevent the issue occurring again.

If you buy one of the two most expensive Dj machine in buy mode, they'll come with the advanced heat sink upgrade already installed. Get one of those, and you'll never have to worry about your sim catching fire while using the Dj Machine again. The cheaper machine don't have this already installed. So you will need to do as rosemow has suggested if you have one of those.

Actually, that DJ booth was one of the expensive one, but not the most.

Anyways, what I was saying is that if you buy the expensive Dj booth. Then you won't need to do the advanced heat sink upgrade because it would already be installed. In fact that Dj machine I think comes with all the upgrades already installed except for the TV upgrade.
